sys shit in times of denial or even just in times when we aren't sure if someone is a different headmate or not one question is “does it help to think of them as separate” and it does. so we push that stuff to the side because at the end of the day. if one day it turns out we are mistaken. it doesn't matter but what does matter is treating ourself in the way that helps us feel ok
