“Fucking bullshit!” Kuroo yelled at the TV which was playing the latest mutant monster movie. Apparently, King Kong using weapons against Godzilla was ‘cheating” as he so passionately stated about fifteen times in the past thirty minutes. 

You laughed, tears welling in your eyes from both the lack of sleep and the giggly mood you were in. Tonight was the last day of your and Kuroo’s first semester in college which had a lot of emotions come up. Both of you silently agreed to make the day last as long as possible which led to both of you being half-awake, surrounded by blankets and snacks, watching what must have been the fiftieth movie of the night. 

“You’re just mad the big dumb lizard can’t beat brains,” you said with a smirk on your face as Kuroo seemed to burn with the need to go on a rant about how wrong you were but sadly didn’t have the energy for it. He settled for glaring at you with the most concentration he could muster up before he cracked a smile. In the end, both of you ended up laughing, holding onto each other for support.
