my classmate invited me to some gathering with her artistic friends where we would enjoy photos (from some old camera i quess) projected on a balcony wall and drink wine. She herself said that its very pretentious and that is exactly what i am looking for but i am intimidated by the chaotic academia vibe people coming, what should i do?

it's time again, exam season

Modern Punk Style
I need like, a new punk style. But suitable for modern times. Like sure, Doc Martens were great but now they're just flimsy and super expensive. Working class? yeah right. Leather jackets? Uh... not as affordable as they used to be. Basically the style has become capitalized and it's not accessible anymore. Which is why I wonder, how would punk look if it was? What are strong but cheap clothing products in todays times? good shoes? Common thrift store styles? Looks that go COMPLETELY against social norms, things that are considered 'ugly'. Turn it into a style! Please share if you come up with something, im so interested!
