Sometimes I read these long posts about why people hate Amy and it's SOLELY BECAUSE she cares for Sonic. All of the other good things are looked aside because she loves someone.
And I get it I really do. Maybe to some people it's too much. But all of the other things she does is overlooked.
LIKE IN SA2. When Amy is up on the Space Colony ARK she sees Shadow. She has a mini dialogue about how she hated when Sonic and his friends left her behind but in the end she did her silly little turn arounds with her silly little chicky boots and says: "I really need to stop whining!! Everyone is doing their best to help, and so must I!!" She then proceeds to go to Shadow and explain why he should save the people of Earth. Going on a whole thing of: "they're basically good. Because they're trying their best."
Amy will forever be in my heart, but THAT moment really makes us hold her in our heart. I love our precious pink hedgie. So much.
