New graphics set, this time for the Sims in Bloom Legacy by @a-sims-garden! I've been wanting to do this challenge for a long time. I hope I'm able to eventually.

˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ Boba Tea Tales Legacy Challenge ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

We decided to create our own legacy one day as a community effort and so the Boba Tea Tales Legacy was born. This legacy is meant to give you new ideas for storylines and introduce you to new gameplay that you never really thought about doing yourself. 

Remember that this challenge isn’t meant to restrict you entirely. You are allowed to make some changes to the rules to fit your gameplay. It’s all about having fun!

BASE GAME VERSION

General Rules

Each generation will represent 1-3 colors. You must dress up your sim and decorate their houses in their color theme. OPTIONAL: match their hair color and eye color to the theme colors.

Complete each given skill, career, and aspiration unless the goals state otherwise.

Starting budget: 1k-20k simoleons (you decide your amount!)

Play on whatever lifespan YOU feel comfortable playing on.

No money cheats unless stated otherwise!

If you roll a topping that gives you twins or triplets, you ARE allowed to cheat for them so your sim is  guaranteed to have twins or triplets.

Toppings

You must roll a topping each generation for your 3rd trait and minimum kid requirements.

Generation 1: Brown Sugar

You loved cooking all your life. You loved creating and growing your own fresh ingredients for your dishes. However, as time went on in your life, you felt like something was missing. You are starting to burn out of this busy life so you decide to quit your job, pack up everything, and move to a whole new world. Maybe the simplicity of the country lifestyle is what you truly wanted all this time?

Colors: Brown & White Aspiration: Master Chef & Expert Nectar Maker Career: Restaurant Owner & Nectar Making Traits: glutton, animal enthusiast Skills: cooking, gardening, nectar making

Goals: 

Roll for a random topping to get your 3rd trait & kid requirements

Run a restaurant and get to at least 3 stars (you are allowed to use money cheats to afford the restaurant) before you quit

Move to Chestnut Ridge as an adult and start making money through nectar making

Marry a sim with the Rancher trait

Adopt at least 1 ranch animal

Complete half of the Master Chef aspiration

Complete Expert Nectar Maker aspiration 

Max out the cooking, gardening, and nectar making skills

Generation 2: Blueberry

You lived a comfortable life growing up on the farm with your family. You go into the business career because you knew it was a simple job that pays decently well. However, everyday was the same. Wakeup, get ready for work, get back home, sleep, and repeat. You’re tired of that. You quit your job all together and with the money you saved up, you decide to start traveling the world! You start a new channel for your traveling adventures and pick up odd jobs to keep doing what you love.

Colors: Blue & Purple Aspiration: Beach Life & Mt. Komorebi Sightseer Career: Business & Odd Jobs & Media Production Traits: non-committal, loves the outdoors Skills: fitness, rock climbing, media production

Goals:

Roll for a random topping to get your 3rd trait & kid requirements

Reach level 3 of the Business career before you start vacationing

Make money through odd jobs and travel vlogs (media production) once you quit the Business career

Travel to Sulani during the Summertime and complete Beach Life aspiration

Travel to Mt. Komorebi during the Wintertime and complete Mt. Komorebi Sightseer aspiration

Have a one night stand with someone you met while traveling and get pregnant/partner gets pregnant

Never get married

Continue to travel until the next generation’s heir is a young adult

Max out the fitness, rock climbing, and media production skills

Generation 3: Matcha

Growing up, you traveled everywhere with your parent and you saw them struggling with money. You knew you didn’t want that for yourself so you studied as much as you could to get into university. You would do anything to get ahead in your career until you bump into your work rival who ruins your plans. You try to befriend them and pursue them thinking it will benefit you. However, you start catching feelings for them. What will you do? Fall in love or break their hearts?

Goals:

Go to university and graduate with a Language and Literature degree (a distinguished degree if you want an extra challenge)

Befriend and pursue your ‘Work Rival’ for your own benefit (can be a co-worker if a work rival doesn’t pop up)

Decide whether you either truly fall in love or break your work rival’s heart once you reach the top of your career

Go to the spa every weekend

Complete the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration

Complete the Law (Private Attorney Branch) Career

Max out the logic, research and debate, and wellness skills

Generation 4: Passionfruit Mango 

Your parent made you pick up the violin and piano as a child. Turns out, you’re really good at it and you love music! You dedicate most of your life to music until you meet someone who will change your life forever. You introduce them to your family, but they do not approve of your partner because they don’t fit the ideal lifestyle your parent had for you. With the disapproval from your parent(s), will you continue to follow their ideal lifestyle for you or follow your own passion?

Colors: Yellow & Orange Aspiration: Musical Genius Career: Entertainment (Musician Branch) Traits: socially awkward, loyal Skills: piano, violin, painting

Goals:

Play the piano and violin throughout your childhood and teen years

Have your sim and their partner have a negative relationship with your sim’s parent(s)

Generation 5: Sakura

Your parents were the perfect couple! They were the definition of love so you wanted to help others find their soulmates too. You’re great at your job, but it seems like you have trouble finding the one for yourself. You go on multiple dates and your particular favorite dates are where you can show off your dancing skills. While you’re not on the dance floor, you love mixing drinks that you would love to share with your future partner one day.

Generation 6: Dragon Fruit

Your parents were all about love, and it made you sick to your stomach! Love? That doesn’t exist. So you spend your time breaking up happy couples because it’s fun. You love seeing people be absolutely miserable. You are just truly evil.

Generation 7: Taro

You distanced yourself from your family because you knew they weren’t good people. You found a special interest in robots, science, and cats! You were really into your academics because you wanted to get away from your family. You attend university, but one day, you decide to attend a party your roommates invited you to and you meet someone there. You hit it off! You spend a lot of time with them and get really close. But uh oh! One day, you hear the news that there is a baby on the way so unfortunately, you drop out. You struggle with a part time job as you dedicate most of your time to your child and this stray cat you found one day, but eventually, you are able to go back to university and pursue your dream career!

Colors: Light Purple Aspiration: Academic Career: Engineer (Mechanical Engineer Branch) Traits: genius, cat lover Skills: robotics, handiness, parenting

Join the Chess team in high school

Generation 8: Lychee

Your parents were really busy growing up so you found a new love for video games. While they were away at university or work, you were always in your room playing games. You’re really good at gaming so you wanted to try out streaming as a teen! It does incredibly well. You join the Tech Guru career hoping to become the best eSport Gamer.

Goals:

Join and complete the Tech Guru (eSport Gamer Branch) career as soon as you graduate high school

Attend GeekCon whenever it’s in town

Generation 9: Thai Tea

You spent your whole life feeling like you needed a different change of scenery. You felt like you never really had a close relationship with your parents as they were too busy playing video games. So one day, you decide to move to Tomarang. You love the community and Tomarani culture and finally, you feel like you belong somewhere. You write everything about your time in Tomarang and publish your articles for others to read!

Colors: Orange Aspiration: Fount of Tomarani Knowledge Career: Writer (Journalist Branch) Traits: adventerous, child of the village Skills: writing, baking, photography

Goals:

Generation 10: Sunset

You grew up learning about the beach and ocean so you decided to move to Sulani when you became a young adult. One day while you’re by the beach, you bump into someone and it turns out they’re a mermaid!? They actually exist?! You get closer to them and learn everything about them. You slowly fall in love with them and want to help them restore the beautiful island of Sulani.

Colors: Purple, Red, & Orange Aspiration: Soulmate Career: Conservationist (Environmental Manager Branch) Traits: generous, romantic Skills: singing, flower arranging, and cross-stitching

Goals:

Roll for a random topping to get your 3rd trait & kid requirements

Move to Sulani as a young adult

Attend as many Sulani events as possible

Fall in love with a mermaid and become a mermaid

A Garden of Friends: An Omori Legacy Challenge

Notes: This is my first ever sims 4 challenge based off of the psychological horror game Omori! So if you haven’t played it yet, I highly recommend you do because this challenge includes spoilers to basically the entire game.

If you have any packs or mods that you think will fit this challenge, please, make any adjustments you like! This game is not playtested, so I might update this as I play through it myself. This was intended to work with the base game (along with a few things included in the Dogs & Cats pack that are completely optional) so anyone can play!

This was harder than I expected because I had to compress these complex characters into three character traits TwT ANYWAY! Enjoy my challenge, Dreamer!

Rules:

1. No Money Cheats

2. Mods are allowed, especially for certain aspects of the challenge

3. Aspiration and career has to be completed unless stated otherwise (but at the end of the day, this is focused more on story so I won’t judge you for just completing the goals)

4. FreeRealEstate is allowed only for first gen

5. The sims don’t have to resemble the game characters, but if you manage to get them as close as possibly props to you!

A Garden of Friends: An Omori Legacy Challenge

Generation 1: Rose 🌹

“Roses come in many different colors and have their own unique meanings. Pink roses symbolize admiration, Orange roses symbolize passion, Yellow roses symbolize friendship, and the list goes on. Hero doesn’t remind me of any rose in particular. I think Hero is like all roses, because he is versatile and universally loved.”

Every generation needs a founder, and who’s a better contender than Hero? After you graduate college, you become a doctor like your parents want. That’s when you meet…and then lose the love of your life and decide to pursue your real dream of being a chef, even if the wound never heals.

Aspiration: Master Chef

Traits: Gloomy, Good, Clumsy

Career: Doctor (Quit once spouse dies), Chef

- [ ] Master the cooking, charisma, and gourmet cooking skills.

- [ ] Become a Doctor to please your parents

- [ ] Meet the love of your life (Bonus: Date a sim who is a music lover)

Generation 2: Cactus 🌵

“Cacti are very sturdy and resilient plants by nature. They don’t need much care and can survive in seemingly impossible conditions. I guess what I’m saying is that even you could take care of a cactus, Kel.”

Thanks to the great food your parents fed you, you’ve always been the energetic and outgoing kind. So, even after your best friend goes missing, you manage to carry on with a smile on your face. That is…until they return and you’re suddenly strangers. Can friendship endure after so long?

Aspiration: Bodybuilder

Traits: Outgoing, Active, Cheerful

Career: Athlete

- [ ] Master the fitness, comedy, and charisma skills.

- [ ] Have a close relationship with your siblings.

- [ ] Keep one childhood friend until you’re a teen then have them come back when you’re an adult (Bonus: Declare your undying devotion and love to them).

- [ ] Have 5 friends but no best friends in case they disappear too.

- [ ] Go to the gym 3 times a week

- [ ] Have a daughter (you can use chests or mods for this)

- [ ] Optional: Adopt a dog

- [ ] Optional: Have one of your friends become your enemy before fixing the friendship

Generation 3: Gladiolus 🪻

“These are a type of flower called the gladiolus, also known as the “sword flower”. As you might guess, they represent strength of character. Someone who is honest, with strong moral values; someone who stands by their convictions. The gladiolus reminds me of Aubrey, because she’s always true to herself.”

It wasn’t being an only child, especially one where your dad was too busy with his old friend and your mom, well, you doubted she cared what you did. You learned early in life you have to fend for yourself. At least when you were a kid, your friends made it easier…that’s until you all split ways…and they left you behind. Now you have new friends who are much better than them…now you can only feel anger at your old “friends”, even if you still cared for them…

Aspiration: Chief of Mischief

Traits: Hot-Headed, Mean, Loyal

Career: Criminal (Boss Branch)

- [ ] Master the Mischief skill

- [ ] Have a strained relationship with your parents, especially Gen 3

- [ ] Have childhood friends before becoming rivals with all of them when you become a teenager (Bonus: Get into and win a fight against one of them) (Bonus 2: Rekindle your friendship with one of them when you’re an adult and fall in love with them)

- [ ] Have a son (again you can use mods or chests for this) before dying tragically

Generation 4: Sunflower 🌻

“These are sunflowers. They’re called that because they always face towards the sun. That’s how I went to be like, someone who always sees the bright side of things.”

After your mom’s death, your grandparents were determined to give you the best life possible, but it was a lonely childhood. All you had were your grandparents and the flowers in your garden. That’s until you find your best friend and suddenly, you weren’t alone anymore. You spent all your time together…until something tragic happens and you two are separated and damaged in a way that seems irreparable. They draw away while you cling on for dear life. It isn’t until you two have a fight that you two finally come to terms and heal together.

Aspiration: Freelance Botanist

Traits: Loves Outdoors, Loyal, Gloomy

Career: None

- [ ] Master the gardening and photography skills.

- [ ] Have a close relationship with your grandparents.

- [ ] Keep a childhood friend until you’re a teenager (bonus if they have an older sibling, extra bonus if it’s an older sister)

- [ ] Experience something traumatic that separates you from your childhood friend

- [ ] When your grandparents die, confront your childhood friend and get into a fight (bonus if they lose an eye) before rekindling and healing together

- [ ] Have two kids a girl first (the heir) and a son (use mods)

- [ ] Optional: Try and fail to rekindle your friendship with your old friend before your grandparents die

Generation 5: Lily of the Valley 🥀

“These flowers are called Lily of the Valley. It’s said that they’re able to ward off evil spirits and help people see a brighter future. I guess that’s why they remind me of Mari. I can always count on her to help me stay positive.”

Life was perfect! You had parents who loved you, friends you adored, and a little brother you would absolutely die for. Of course, no one knows how hard perfection is, especially your little brother. You just wished he tried a little harder sometimes! Maybe you pushed too far that night…if you hadn’t…then maybe this wouldn’t have happened…

Aspiration: Musical Genius

Traits: Music Lover, Loyal, Perfectionist

Career: Entertainer (Musician Branch)

- [ ] Master the charisma, piano, and cooking skills

- [ ] Have a very close relationship with your brother

- [ ] Have a childhood sweetheart who you break up with when you’re a teen but get back together with when you’re an adult

- [ ] Practice music with your little brother and set up a gig at a lounge

- [ ] Get into a fight with your brother at the night of the show and get badly hurt (if you can find a disability mod you can use that or use what’s available in the base game)

- [ ] Give up music and become a stay at home mom to two kids an older girl and two twin brothers

Generation 6: Tulip 🌷

“And these, these are white tulips. Tulips aren’t very flashy plants. They’re not too big or small, not too elaborate or flamboyant. If I could put it in another way, I guess I would say they’re comfortable. Simple, modest, perfect. Just like Sunny.”

You weren’t the most expressive kid. You kept your emotions internal, but your love for your friends and your siblings showed, especially your older sister. So you didn’t understand how she could be gone like that…all because of you…not that you remembered of course. But your twin remembered it all and he was determined to hide it from you. Maybe once you remember…you can finally face your friends again and start to heal…

Aspiration: Painter Extraordinaire

Traits: Gloomy, Art Lover, Loner

Careers: Artist or Freelancer (Digital Artist Branch)

- [ ] Master the painting, violin, and video gaming skills (Bonus: Get the writing skill to level 5)

- [ ] Have a close relationship with your siblings

- [ ] Have a group of close childhood friends before dropping out of school (either use a mod or just don’t go) when you’re a teenager and remaining inside until you’re a young adult

- [ ] Lose your older sister tragically

Route A:

- [ ] Leave your house when you’re a young adult and slowly reunite with your childhood friends except one

- [ ] Get confronted by the friend you didn’t reconnect with and have a fight, getting badly injured (bonus if you lose an eye)

- [ ] Get into a fight with your twin until you win and start building a healthy relationship with him

- [ ] Confess the truth to your friends and start building a future with them (bonus if you start dating one of them)

- [ ] Optional: Start a garden in dedication to both your friends and your ancestors

Route B:
