just doing domestic, everyday things with steve :)

like going grocery shopping together, and running for a late-night, impromptu run for ice cream, or driving off somewhere private and just sitting in the car chatting and being lovey dovey, and going with him to get a haircut and he’s always grumpy after bc they cut it too short, and dropping the kids off somewhere and being like “do you wanna go to the drive in?” just randomly, or going for little walks together, or just sitting in each other’s rooms in comfortable silence.

like it’s so easy being with him. there’s no pressure to impress or entertain eachother and it’s casual and all so loving and i feel like you guys don’t say “i love you” so explicitly very often, but the love comes through in almost everything you do. holding the door open for eachother, or steve blocking sharp edges of the table so you don’t bump into them, or you constantly keeping a comb in your glovebox in case he needs it. there’s not a lot of pda when you’re together, but steve always goes for the casual arm around the shoulder and you like to wrap your arm in his to keep him close, maybe a chaste kiss on the temple in the car. just little things that add up and mean so much.

there’s lots of teasing and quippy remarks, but it’s so cute and fun bc you’re never serious. lots of silly bickering over movies or arguing over who gets to drive or who the kids like better (you always let steve win, ya know, so you don’t bruise his ego)

there’s not many pet names you call each other (i think they’re all kind of ironic, funny things- “farrah” or “loverboy” or something so sickeningly sweet like “honey bunches” or “cutie pie” as a joke) but i do think steve let’s “hon” or “honey” slip out every so often, as well as “baby” or “doll” but those in particular always makes you blush. he also has a habit of calling you “pretty girl” when ur alone in bed late at night together:’) i think you call him “honey” too but also “love” and “handsome” and he always gives you a smarmy look and a lovesick smile when you say it. if you say one casually or subconsciously, steve always smiles to himself that it’s like second nature to you. pet names aren’t a big thing for you guys bc you’re never too cheesy unless you’re doing it on purpose, but here and there (especially if one of you are drunk) it becomes a little habit.

DogMan and Petey wedding-

They would have a athome wedding with only close friends

I imagine that first they originally had the wedding at the city's chapel but because the judge is a damn opp and invited all their villains to join and ruin the wedding they had to change plans. The team has to stop them of course but after this would lead to Petey would be crashing out because he just wanted everything to be perfect. Dogman would calm him down and remind him that it doesn't need a big perfect wedding of the century.

Which to be fair, I think Petey wants a small wedding at the beginning but everyone accidentally peer pressured him into thinking he needs a big wedding that would have everyone in town watch from their tvs.

So while Dogman and Petey were alone taking a moment, the rest of the gang hurry up and set up a smaller wedding at Dogman's yard. And surprise them once they return home, 80hd even did a quick wedding ceremony course so now they can legally marry.

The two genuinely never felt this much appreciation and love for their friends till now. Although it was night, started raining and left large mud puddles everywhere they danced and celebrated like no tomorrow.

Sometimes my writing's bad, sometimes it's good. But sometimes, IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A GOD.

I was reviewing my writing and I found this gem(??) And I can't believe I of all people wrote it. Like damb, i'm quezy about it and i'm not even in the story. Here it is, btw, with a bit of editing to make the characters anonymous:

(Character A) remained quiet after that, afraid of another terrible stumble. They were a disastrous person and never could go without a stupid, clumsy act. (Character B) observed the mortal named (Character a). Trying to figure out (Character A)'s motives and weaknesses. They never looked at (Character B) until (Character B) suddenly grabbed (Character A)'s face.

"Interesting." (Character B)'s dead-set observant stare into (Character A)'s eyes had them anxious.

"What?"

"Your eyes are the color of the sky. I haven't seen the sun-filled sky for a long time." Amazement, wonder, nostalgia, and so many other emotions flowed into and out of (Character B).

"Oh, do you miss it?" (Character A) relaxed into (Character B)'s hold. Gazing back into (Character B)'s maroon eyes.

"Dearly."

Like FELLO????? Which romantic literature god/goddess possessed me??? If only I could write like this when I really needed to, like school 😭 and even better they have their own versions so it gets more romantic!
