AU where Shadow is a scientist who tests the limits of his own body (since hes half alien). He dabbles in science, but gets into trouble sometimes and would be dead if his body werent so resistant. Sonic visits often, practically lives with Shadow, to make sure Shadow doesnt dissect himself or try and stay awake for weeks on end during experiments. but to no avail
