Curate, connect, and discover
This may seem crazy, but listen to me:
Imagine Sung Jinwoo falling in love with the reader's best friend who has been helping and looking after him and Jinah since he was a loser, and now, he finds himself almost obsessed with her to the point where he feels obliged to do the same for the reader by staying by their side as if they still depended on her help. Until then, when you discover that Sung Jinah, who considered the reader her lovely nonna, is also secretly in love with the reader, and therefore always has the opportunity to cling to the reader as if he were almost dependent on her when Jinwoo isn't with us, but as soon as the three of them are together in the same house, (in their house, but you're almost living there because they “need” you so much) Jinah is trying to get the reader's attention with Jinwoo, pulling him to do something he likes or to her room.
How funny or scary would they see these two fighting indirectly? Could that be ... hot?
Hello, my lovely readers! I hope you're doing well!
And also I apologize that this is not an update on any of my stories!🤣Sorry to burst your bubble!
But anyway, I'm here to announce my plan for the upcoming months.
Unfortunately, I will be on a temporary Hiatus for the next few months as I'm being boarded into a new course because of my job. So I wanted to put all my focus on it for now.
But I will still find the time to write as much as possible while still on course.
Once I'm done with my course, I will update all my stories as much as I can if my life after that won't be chaotic since there is a chance that I might move because of my job.
Oh and Also I'm planning to write up my own Novel/Book, so it gonna be chaotic as hell.
But anyway, I'll try my best to write up the next chapters of my stories.
And while at it I want to make a voting poll on which stories you guys want me to update on once I'm back.
Please don't hold back to let me know what you want!😘 And I'm really terribly sorry that I have been slow in updating my stories. Life is just so damn unpredictable.😭
OH MY!🤣LOL! I JUST CANT!🤣 BERU! OH MY GOD! YOURE SO DAMN CUTE🤣😍

Summary: (AU) In a world of ABO, you've always thought you were an alpha, high above others.
However, encountering your fated pair, proves you otherwise.
Add to that, your fated pair, whose grey eyes that always seem to see through you and black hair that always tries to entice your hand to run through it. You found out you were an omega through the heat he caused.
You couldn't help but curse the gods in every possible way as you tried your hardest not to kneel and beg your junior in school to claim and ravage you, whose name was Sung Jinwoo.
Disclaimer: I don’t own anything except for my characters and plot.

Chapter 1 - Meeting
In your current society, you have your first gender.
A female and a male.
However, once you reach a certain age, you are tested to differentiate for your second gender.
A Beta, which the majority are categorized.
Next is the minority that experiences heat, an Omega.
And then where success is guaranteed, the Alpha.
You have always thought your life is set.
Born into an affluent family, number one in studies and sports, a good enough appearance and a dominant but nonchalant personality.
You and everyone have obviously thought you were an alpha.
Or so you thought as you met those grey eyes of a boy, named Sung Jinwoo.
It had been an average day for you.
Waking up and getting ready for school, listening to your teacher as they teach their subject.
Doing your duties as a student council president and catching your schoolmates who were slacking and skipping school.
Punishing them or dragging their asses back if they defy you.
It was a normal routine for you however what made that day different from others was meeting him.
Your fated pair.
You had just finished all the necessary paperwork and meetings as the student council president and were on your way home when you saw a group of students harassing some middle schoolers.
Stopping in your tracks, you saw that some of them were from your school while the others were from schools that were close to your area.
Observing the group of high school students, you couldn't help but notice that they seemed to be part of the same friend group, as there were no conflicts between them. Instead, they were bullying some middle school students.
You sigh as you shake your head.
Such a bunch of brats.
Seeing that they have already beaten a few middle school students and are about to harass them again, you step in without hesitation and call out to them.
The students who wore similar uniforms as yours stiffened once they heard and saw you.
They have been the same junior students you have always dragged back to school from skipping classes.
They were either in some arcade or in some brawls with other delinquents from another school, in which case resulted in you facing both parties.
Neither did you take sides as you beat them.
In the end, you would contact the other school's student council president, who happened to be one of your childhood friends, to inform them about your schoolmates and what happened.
Afterwards, you would finally escort your own schoolmates' beat-up assess back to your school infirmary.
That was how it usually plays.
And since they have crossed paths with you a few times already, they have seen what you're capable of and have unconsciously ingrained your presence in their minds.
They knew they were in trouble.
However, the other students from a different school were unaware of their dilemma, nor did they know you.
And so, seeing you leisurely walking up to them, they immediately put their attention on you and abandoned their previous targets at once.
Oblivious to the danger they're putting themselves into.
Arrogant in their stance, clearly the one leading them was an alpha.
You sigh once again, deciding to finish this quickly. Since you were eager to go home and were quite looking forward to the dessert that your mother had bought from abroad.
The thought almost makes you salivate.
"What this? Trying to be a hero now aren't you?" The alpha taunted as he strode over to you, smirking as his lackeys trailed behind him and slowly circled you.
Eyeing you up, it was clear he was sizing you as he instinctive knew you were an alpha.
You two were almost the same height however you clearly towered him by a few inches.
Showing an indifferent attitude and not answering his taunt, he faltered as you gave him a cold stare.
Embarrassed by showing weakness and intimidated by another alpha, he hid it by sneering at you and barking again at your classmates.
"Hey! What the fuck are you doing?! Get your asses here!" He shouted, his voice showing traces of agitation. This affected his lackeys as their earlier confidence faltered as well.
Looking at their other friends, they were confused as they remained rooted in their place.
Their faces paled, body trembling and sweat dripping down from their forehead. Hesitant, they gave a small shake of their head, their eyes showing undeniable fear.
Annoyed, the alpha was once again about to shout when suddenly a presence loomed over him and a cold voice interrupted.
"I'll advise you to leave if you don't want yourself embarrassed and beaten up by the end of the day, kid."
It was your voice.
Calm and deep, sending shivers down their spines as they felt authority dripping off it.
The alpha and his group paled instantly. Something inside them, especially the leader in their group instinctively told them this student was dangerous and someone not to be messed with.
However, an alpha is an alpha. They weren't one to be bent over nor ordered around so easily.
And because of this and due to his arrogant pride, the alpha kid faced you with a sneer and defiantly challenged you.
"Fuck you."
"..."
The surroundings fell silent, and the atmosphere immediately grew colder than it used to. A heavy feeling washed over everyone watching the two and they felt a foreboding sense creep up their spine.
You, however, just gave a small cold laugh before dropping your bag. Your eyes narrowed darkly.
Not long after, sounds of screams and agonizing cries echoed in the park while your schoolmates and the group of middle school students watched in horror as you beat them with ease but not without mercy.
Instructing your schoolmates to drag their friends' asses to their school infirmary, you told them that their student presidents, whom you have informed already, were waiting for them at the school entrance.
They knew that if they didn't show up, this president of theirs would hound them no matter where they were. Because of this, you didn't worry if they ran away.
As for your schoolmates, they already know to show up the next day if they want to keep their balls alive.
Watching them limp away, you finally let out a breath and pick up your school bag, satisfied that everything was almost over.
However, glancing over to the side and seeing the group of young students all bruised and battered, you sigh inwardly.
You made a mental note to have those bastards write up a thousand-word apology and assign them chores around campus as punishment.
Walking over to the group of middle schoolers, you asked them if they were alright.
"Yes, senior. Thank you so much for your help!" One of the kids replied while the others nodded with a bit of enthusiasm.
Looking over their battered faces while a smile was on their lips and their eyes shining as they looked at you, you couldn't help but worry and apologize to them on behalf of your schoolmates as their school president.
Throughout the exchange, one particular student was silent and kept his distance from you however you didn't blame him. If you were him, you would also be wary, especially after what they have been through before you came.
You may have saved them, but there's no guarantee you won't do the same as what those previous people did.
Though you felt his eyes lock onto you, you didn't know whether it was hostility or something else. Just that you couldn't ignore how intense his gaze was as he watched you.
Deciding to let it go, you took out a card from your pocket and gave it to them, advising them to visit the clinic if they ever experienced any signs of discomfort.
It was one of the clinics your cousin works at.
Given the number of students you frequently handled in such cases, your cousin already suspected it was you who sent them whenever students arrived at their clinic with bruises on their bodies.
Your cousin scolds you because of it.
You simply shrugged and responded that it at least contributed to the business. No matter how you deal with these troublemakers—whether through a gentle approach or not—if they still refuse to listen, they need to learn the hard way.
It was that or nothing.
You explained and your cousin could only accept defeat as deep down he knew that kids your age are hard to disciple.
As the students bowed in gratitude, you noticed the admiration in their eyes as they stared at you.
Not used to such gazes, you cough and avoid their eyes. Instead, you immediately urged them to go home as the sky slowly turned dark.
Inwardly, you hope they won't turn out like you, as you know you are barely crossing the line when it comes to disciplining such unruly schoolmates of yours.
Bowing their heads once more, they said goodbye and walked away, eager to head home while chatting happily.
You sigh again and lift your hand to brush your hair, glad that everything's finally over.
As they turned the corner, you were about to leave when suddenly there were hurried footsteps behind you. You felt a hand grab your shirt tightly, stopping you in your tracks.
That's when you heard them, stammering with a soft and warm voice, calling out to you pleadingly as you turned your head.
Your eyes locked with grey-coloured ones.
It was the boy from earlier who was watching you so intensely.
He has soft black hair with bangs that brush against his lashes. He also reaches your shoulders in height and has a lean build.
Clearly, the boy was growing and showing a distinct trait of an alpha.
However, it wasn't those physical traits that shocked you, it was his scent. A scent so endearing your body reacted in ways you never experienced before.
You felt your body heat up, your hands trembling and your breath laboured as you continued to lock eyes with the boy.
His scent enveloped you, intoxicating and enticing, making you crave something you knew was wrong.
Slowly, dread fills you as realizations hit you all at once.
You cursed.
"Fuck."
A/n: Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed it! Their age will be explained as the story goes and don't worry there won't be inappropriate ages or such.

Hey guys, and welcome back to the next episode of this crossover mini series!
I know that's been a while since anything was uploaded on the Star Stream but as you may or may not know, I had to take some time off from here and focus on my personal life for a while before I was comfortable to come back here to continue writing as it gets colder in my corner of the world. I did get a lot of messages from you guys saying that my health is more important than an update and to take as much time as I needed, that everyone will be here when I come back.
So, to everyone who did send me those messages, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'm really blessed to have found a community who care about me as a person rather than someone whose content is interesting and wants to read more of it.
Edits were made by the fantastically talented @circeyoru. Image provided by @pa1nrema1ns.
With that being said, let's see what will be broadcasting on today's Star Stream~! Comments from constellations are welcomed~!

America had been your initial destination to travel after spending a few days in the safe house until you realized it was not a good idea. You had been so focused on completing the scenario that you forgot why you had to avoid the United States; it’s the base of the Scavenger’s Guild, operated by Thomas Andre and where Hwang Doongsoo had been waiting to get clearance to travel to Korea again after being pummeled by Jinwoo’s father. In the novel, the protagonist killed Dongsoo’s older brother, Hwang Dongsuk, in a dungeon. It was in self-defense since the lizard tried to kill Jinwoo and Jinho to make some fast cash.
Dongsoo wasn’t above taking Jinho as a hostage to lure the S-Class Hunter into an interrogation inside an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city before Jinwoo kicked his ass. If this bastard did his homework, he’s probably already aware that you’re connected to Jinwoo, or had been until you left Seoul. Getting involved with a major antagonist would cause the novel’s plot to deviate even further, which will give your shitty Side Character System a reason to penalize you for your unintentional involvement, despite your completion of the previous scenario.
For now, at least you had access to Biyoo’s foodstuff in the System’s shop. The little one needs to eat properly in order to grow up healthy. Mana crystals, not so much since you’ve officially retired as a Hunter. Which brought up the next issues you had to figure out: bringing in a steady income. You’ve saved a lot of money after coming into the novel’s world, but it won’t last forever. You would need to look at online job ads soon. Though if you couldn’t hide in America, there is Europe. The guilds there aren’t close to the ones here in Korea; at most, the relationship is mutual, and you’re pretty sure they wouldn’t care if someone like you is doing a small tour in the corner of their world so long as you don’t cause any problems.
Guess I’ll have to figure out how soon I leave Busan. You thought as you carefully slid the diced up monster meat off of the cutting board with a knife, pouring the rancid-smelling stuff into a small white bowl decorated with tiny paw prints. Biyoo immediately dug in once you placed it on the kitchen island, though she almost squeezed her whole body inside of the bowl.
Seeing the little dokkaebi getting stuck both amused and scared you before you gently pulled her back from behind, careful to not tug on her fur. Definitely will have to prep some meals for too, and there’s also snacks and water.
You groaned. Whoever said planning a vacation is fun needed to be yeeted out of the window. Or go through a scenario. Whichever made them suffer more.
Three days later, you locked up the safe-house and drove to Gimhae International Airport. Biyoo was sleeping in your Interdimensional Cloak, a small pocket in infinity that no one could access except you. Your travel documents were still valid and your carry-on bag had everything you needed. As much as you despised the System, the Item Box feature allowed you to store away belongings so long as it wasn’t taller or heavier than your own body. So when security looked through it with their scanners, all they would see were five days’ worth of clothes, toiletries, a charger, and a book. At least you hoped so.
In the end, they gave you clearance to board the flight, and you left Korea to explore the world. There is a small part of you that didn’t want to leave Korea, you couldn’t lie about that. As a reader, you wanted to make sure that this story reached all the way to the happy ending, even if that’s what the Side Character System is supposed to do. Of course, too much interference from you came with the alternation of Jinwoo's memories. His memories of you.
It first happened at the hospital. You visited him and made sure he was all right, bringing him some flowers and a plastic bag of his favorite takeout. But instead of seeing a flustered expression on that cute face or a smile, he stared at you as if you were nothing to him. That you meant nothing.
“Who are you?” He asked calmly, his voice steady and with no trace of emotion whatsoever. You had looked at him for a moment before you smiled bitterly. Of course it’s a sadistic System. When its host doesn’t play by the rules, penalize them in the worst way possible: by having the person you care about the most not know who you are. So you lied and said you were a friend of Jinah’s and came to visit him on his behalf. He bought the excuse, and then that was that.
You did try to be nice though, when you did cross paths with him in the dungeons. But whenever you said hello to him or extended an invitation to grab a drink after the raid was over, Jinwoo would stare at you with narrowed eyes and politely decline. At this point in his second awakening, he grew distrustful of everyone and believed they had a motive for wanting to associate themselves with him. It wasn’t hard to deduce that he thought you would spike his drink. But you would never hurt the protagonist when all he’s ever done to you is give you hope in a fuckled up world in those pages you’ve read over and over on your phone. You were cruel, perhaps an irredeemable monster, but not to that extent. So, you remained his life companion, but operating from the shadows and ensuring that his family would be safe and taken care of whenever he left for extended periods of time to level up.
In your defense, you had tried to ignore Jinah’s phone calls with a text citing that you were pretty busy but promised to take her out for coffee when she wasn’t studying or doing chores. But somehow, she tracked you down at a cafe near the train station and demanded why you were avoiding her. You had to lie to her about what was going on because the System threatened to remove her memories if you stepped out of line. Although she wasn’t happy with the story you spun about working too much and lost track of time, you pleaded with her to not say a word about you to her big brother. Sung Jinwoo would hunt you down and kill you if Jinah mentioned it.
Naturally, she was confused by your paranoia but swore she wouldn't say anything, but hoped things between you and Jinwoo would get worked out because she did miss hanging out with you. You felt your heart plummet to the pits of your stomach when she said that, but you hide your grimace behind a practiced smile. It would never happen because he doesn’t remember you.
Time passed, and you had died protecting him in the red gate and he did not blink as you fell into the snow and took the blow that would have severely crippled him in the fight against the Ice Slayers. Typical of a protagonist like Sung Jinwoo. And a reminder that you will never have a place in Korea, in the world of Solo Leveling, in the protagonist’s heart. As if you really needed to be reminded how insignificant your role is. Plus, he’s fated to be with Cha Hae-in, and that is his happy ending.
You’ve read those moments in the novel over and over, but having the Side Character System broadcasting them on the screen for you to remind you of your place is a little different than seeing the written letters. You saw how flustered the cool-headed protagonist will get when his shadow accidentally showed Hae-in soaking in the tub when he was raiding the High Orc dungeon with Jinho. You saw Cha Hae-in stumble over her words when he asked her why she wanted to join his guild, and how her townhouse shook after she saw a picture of him with another woman on social media.
These images were a message. A warning to not cling onto hope and just let Sung Jinwoo go. To forget about him. And that’s what you have done. Now? You’ll have to make one on your own without a phone or a notebook or Sung Jinwoo. It was time to move on. Start a new chapter in your life as a background character.
The first stop on your itinerary is merry old London. And from there? Well, you’ll figure it out as you go.
Taking a hot-air balloon ride in Italy. Walking through the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. Buying souvenirs and trying street food in Istanbul’s Karakoy Alley. Enjoying a glass of wine with a plate of tapas after visiting the Basilica in Barcelona. The world is definitely bigger and brighter outside of Seoul. Instead of screenshots on how to defeat monsters and completing scenarios, there are more photos of you and Biyoo, with her acting like a stuffed animal in your hands at different destinations.
Although touring Europe isn’t a bad thing, there’s still finding a job and a new place to live. Active and retired hunters received certain benefits as long as they kept their license from expiring. It’s why you’ve been able to create so many memories with Biyoo as you have without going broke. But you were cheap, and you would not purchase a house in Spain no matter how persuasive the real estate agent you’re meeting is or the travel blogs say. Staying in the country for over 90 out of 180 days is not allowed for foreigners, even if they have a visa and a Hunter’s license. London had apartments, so did Paris. Problem was most of them had thin walls, so anyone could hear Biyoo if she left alone, mewling anxiously for you to come back home. The last thing you wanted was to draw more attention to yourself.
Almost a month and half later, bouncing between hotels and filling out job applications, you can safely say that you were financially secure and all settled in your new chalet in the French Alps. You stay there in the summer, and rent it out for a fee during the winter when everyone comes to ski or snowboard. That’s where your secondary home, a modest villa in Padua, Italy, came into play. The gardens were extensive enough for Biyoo to wander around in with no nosy neighbors, and your job allowed you to work remotely, so income was no longer an issue.
Who would have thought Hunters struggled to find the best places to go on a family vacation or wanted tips on not getting scammed at speciality stores when they were out of town? The magazine you now worked for is like America’s Better Home and Gardens, but geared towards Hunters. The supervisor gave you an assignment and you would email the completed article by the designated deadline. Easy enough, and that you were a former Hunter wouldn’t be public knowledge without your explicit consent is a delightful bonus. It also helped to have a pen-name too.
Things were finally quieting down, allowing you and Biyoo to have a peaceful life far, far away from the novel’s plot. So why hasn’t the next scenario appeared yet?
Did the Side Character System go on a hiatus until certain conditions are met to trigger it again? Is there something you’ve overlooked in your haste to leave Korea? You weren’t sure, since you were still required to complete the daily quests or else there would be a penalty.
You just hoped this period of tranquility wasn’t an omen that something terrible was going to happen soon. Biyoo wouldn’t be able to handle another sudden move. It would stress her out and she’d go on a hunger strike.
What you didn’t realize is that trouble in the shape of a brooding S-Class Hunter is already on his way to Europe for a meeting with the Editor-in-Chief of a magazine at their London headquarters for an exclusive interview. Or so that’s what Sung Jinwoo told them over the phone.

Chapter 1: Chances
Lately, you have been too flustered for your own good but that’s because you’ve started liking someone.
In a classroom filled with students, the sound of pens scratching on paper echoed as students took notes while listening to their teacher.
Some people were diligent, some were dozing off and some were distracted, and you were among them.
Twirling your pen in one hand and leaning on the other, you did your best to listen to the lesson.
However, the calm spring breeze coming through the window seemed to lull you, and your mind gradually began to drift away.
Slowly, your eyes were closing.
Just as you were about to nod off, you caught yourself and quickly straightened up. Opening the back of your notebook you opted to doodle so you won't fall asleep.
It begins with a flower, followed by a bear, a knight's helmet, dragon wings, a dagger and various other unusual and unrelated items until finally you unconsciously draw a chibi version of him.
You felt your cheeks heat up.
Sung Jinwoo.
A second-year student in your high school, whom you started liking recently.
He was your senior by a year as you were in your first year. He was one of the handsome, popular and competent students in your school that most girls fawn over and for boys to idolize.
Like most girls in your school, you were no different from them, who accidentally glanced at him and were instantly smitten.
Foolishly and stupidly smitten.
You didn't know why, but after catching a glimpse of his soft black hair reminiscent of the night, his slender yet beautiful grey eyes, framed by long eyelashes, and his lips, which had a slight reddish tint.
That day, a deep sense of familiarity surged within you. Those feelings captured you and he entangled you with his very being without hesitation.
Even to this day, just remember that moment and how your eyes met made your body heat up, your cheeks flush and a deep aching echo inside you.
Finishing your doodle, you took a moment to admire your drawing of him.
Even though it's just a silly drawing, you couldn't help but caress his small face. A sweet smile appeared on your lips before shaking your head, catching yourself.
Looking at the front, you let out a sigh of relief when you saw that the teacher and your classmates didn't catch you making a silly face out of nowhere and were focused on the lesson instead.
You didn't want anyone, particularly your teacher, to catch you daydreaming especially when your mind wandered toward your silly little crush or else with just a slip everyone in your school would talk about it no doubt and soon he would hear about it.
Just imagining his uncomfortable expression made you shudder, scared and embarrassed.
There's no way you would be able to endure such humiliation if such a thing were ever to happen.
Slapping yourself awake, you flip your notes back and resume jotting down points.
Soon the bell rang, signalling for a break.
You gratefully took the time to stretch your stiff body, worn from sitting in class for almost half of the day. Hearing your bones crack, you let out a sigh of relief, you turn toward your friend before happily inviting her to go out and buy some snacks.
Walking down the hallways while talking to your friend, you furtively give a few glances at his classroom as you pass it. Hoping to catch a glance of him.
However, it seems that luck wasn't on your side, as you didn't even see a glimpse of his clothes. A sense of sadness envelops you, leaving you disheartened.
Unfortunately, you weren’t in the same class or year as him so there were only a few times when you could see him.
Although you envy the students that were in the same year as him, that didn’t dismay you from time to time to wander the hallways of his classroom to try to catch sight of him.
This was one of the few times you hoped to see him, but it seemed the gods were not in your favour today.
You haven't seen nor heard of him at all throughout the morning and now it's already past noon.
You were hoping to at least even just once, you would see him.
Glumly choosing some snacks, you paid right away and waited for your friend's turn before the both of you walked back to your classroom.
Your head hung low as you considered the rest of the day would be unmotivated and restless due to not seeing him.
You wonder why you weren't born in the same year as him. If you had been, you might have had the chance to be with him that year or, even better, have him as your classmate instead of your senior.
Probably because you were too busy weeping childishly, you didn't pay enough attention to where you were going, causing you to crash into someone.
Expecting the painful impact, you held your breath when suddenly, you felt a strong hand holding your waist and pulling you into a warm embrace, steadying your fall.
With your heart racing from fright and still dazed from the incident, it took you a moment to come to your senses before you looked up, ready to apologize.
But your eyes widened instead, your tongue stuck in your throat, and not a word came out.
You felt your face blush uncontrollably, and your whole body trembled. This time, you knew your heart was racing not from fright, but from the nervousness of your crush's sudden appearance.
Standing face to face with your crush, Sung Jinwoo, you could feel his breath as your faces were close to each other, his head bent down, looking at you.
“I’m sorry. Are you alright?” He asked as he gave you a worried look while you, in turn, could only look at him with your mouth wide open.
Both of your friends, who saw the whole situation stood frozen.
For one, your friend knows who your crush is while the other was bewildered with the whole situation.
Lifting his eyes, Sung Jinwoo’s eyebrow furrowed, concerned in his beautiful grey eyes, then brought a hand to touch your forehead which was now red from the earlier collision with his back.
“Your forehead’s bruised. We should go to the infirmary.” He murmured as he caressed your forehead.
Feeling his gentle touch, you snap out of your bewilderment and start rambling nonsensically, your arms flailing, your voice squeaking, and your face all messed up.
You couldn't help but cry in your heart.
Of all times, your bad luck just has to kick you when you least expected it and now you're making a fool of yourself in front of him.
Worst of all you just showed him yourself gawking at him unreservedly.
Not taking it anymore and embarrassed from head to toe, you immediately took your friend’s hand, apologizing before dashing away from the awkward situation.
You’re sure not only your face but your whole body is red as a tomato. Your back sweating profusely.
You’ve always imagined countless scenarios in your head. If you ever got the chance to talk to him, you would act smoothly and gracefully, ensuring that not a hint of your crush would show.
But now! BUT NOW!
You cried in despair.
God! You wish you could burrow yourself in a hole.
You were just grateful that only the four of you were in the hallway; otherwise, not only would you be mortified by your embarrassment, but you were certain that his fans would be furious with you for getting too close to him. And for sure you would be dead meat by the end of the day.
You were so grateful that wasn't the case.
As you and your friend were still running toward your class, a shameless thought popped into your mind, causing your once-red face to turn even redder.
Even though it was but a moment, you shamelessly recalled how his body felt against you.
His body was hard and built.
If you bet with anyone that he absolutely has abs even though he's only a high schooler, you will surely win.
With your mind clouded by immoral thoughts, you didn't notice the classroom door was closed, resulting in you running into it.
A loud sound echoed down the hallway, causing your friend to yelp in concern at your unhinged state.
You muttered a whole storm of curses under your breath.
You're certain the gods intended for you to die in shame today, leaving no corpse behind.
Meanwhile...
As Jinwoo watched you run off, he chuckled, his ears turning red from your cute reaction. After all this time, he had finally reunited with you.
He is eagerly looking forward to the days when you two can finally be together again.
A/N: Ahh, the taste of high school crushes! It’s so fresh but SO cringe at the same time, I couldn’t help but look back at my past crushes. SO CRINGE AND YET SO BITTER AND SO GOOD! Lol!🤣
Anyway, Sorry for the late post. Life has been too busy though I hope you enjoyed this fanfic!

Hello everyone! It's been a while. I hope everyone is doing quite well!
To update everyone on my current situation, I have been off from my surgery leave and am still slowly recovering with physio every week.
To be honest, I have just finished a gruelling three weeks of nonstop work once I'm back. No weekend off.
It was high-stress and unpredictable. The moment you thought everything was stable, a new work problem occurred, and everyone scrambled and panicked right away to finish and solve the job.
Add to it with mixed orders coming from above and bosses adding unnecessary pressure on your back. By the end of the day, I was truly exhausted and just ended up dead on my couch. Completely derailed from my plan to write even a little after.
But enough of that, I apologize that I'm rambling off on you guys. I'm just really happy and relieved that it was finally over and can now take things slow.
My schedule is still uncertain but I'm back, things at work are finally slowing down so hopefully I will have more time to write in the future.
But anyway, I would like to announce the winner of the recent Sung Jin Woo x Reader Series voting poll and it is none other than!!!!
You guys! This was really unexpected because at first it looked like the Infatuation Series would win but then at the finishing line, an unexpected overturn happened and the Serendipity Series gained more votes.😂
I was like 'WHAT THE HELL!? HOW DID THAT HAPPENED?!🤣'
Well because of it, I never had time to properly prepare for it because I was preparing for the Infatuation Series way ahead at first.🤣
LOL! And so, I would like to apologize for my late response and announce that the launch of the first chapter of the Serendipity Series will be either the end of the week or next week as I'm still writing and editing the first chapter.
I'm really sorry. I know that you guys were really looking forward to it but I will try and write as much as I can and edit it.
Thank you for reading my long nonsense rambling.🥰
Infatuation Series - Small snippets and cute scenes on your crush on Sung Jinwoo and how Sung Jinwoo courts and wins over you in high school after using the cup of reincarnation.
His sole purpose in this life is to win your heart, become your faithful husband, and have you be the mother of his children. No one else but you.
Serendipity Series - (AU) In every lifetime, Sung Jinwoo will make sure to leave a mark on your soul. To always accompany you as your devoted husband to his lovely and cute wife, no matter what...
Watching from a distance, Sung Jinwoo slowly savoured the taste of the wine in his glass, his fingers clenching the fragile stem. He restrained his anger as he witnessed your betrothed humiliate you and revoke your engagement for his mistress. Painting you as a villain to everyone as that foolish of a man flaunts his infidelity called 'love'.
Sung Jinwoo couldn't help but sneer at them and find fate laughable.
He has always been determined to have you as his wife, no matter what. However, fate has a twisted sense of humour. It seems, that in order, for him to have you, you must first endure humiliation and a broken engagement.
If fate is going to play its hand, then don't blame him if he turns the situation to his advantage and claims you as his own. And as for those who have wronged you, they will face the consequences of his wrath.
Euphonious (omega verse) series - (AU) In a world of ABO, you've always thought you were an alpha, high above others.
However, encountering your fated pair proves you otherwise.
Add to that, your fated pair, whose grey eyes always seem to see through you and black hair that always tries to entice your hand to run through it. You found out you were an omega through your heat caused by him.
You couldn't help but curse the gods in every possible way as you tried your hardest not to kneel and beg your junior in school to claim and ravage you, whose name was Sung Jinwoo.
Ephemeral Series - (AU Navy Jinwoo soon turn Pirate) Sung Jinwoo is a soldier in the kingdom's navy. He has always thought his life was set in stone, climbing through the ranks and following his admired woman, Cha Hae In.
However, meeting and being rescued by a mermaid, you, soon proves him otherwise. He slowly learns that you were not just anyone but his other half, whisked away just as he finally admitted to himself that he had fallen for you.
Would he follow your direction to return to his normal life or listen to what he wants, to stay with you, his true beloved?

Woo Jinchul sighed, messaging his forehead to relieve yet another migraine. After the biggest and most successful raid on Jeju island by the talented S-Rank Hunters came the aftermath, which led to him and his team cleaning up everything. From day to night, he managed Hunters and their entry to the island so they could clean everything for the island to be used again. He relisted everything that he had done so he could have peace of mind and hopefully rest after so long. The Hunters Guild members and some officers from his department participated in the clean-up. The Chairman partially dealt with the aftermath of the alliance with Japan. Weren’t things running too smoothly?
Odd how she never stepped in to offer assistance. Yes, Jinchul wholeheartedly agreed when he heard his team gossiping among themselves. Then he remembered you were on rest leave until further notice. He glanced over at the calendar on his desk. It had been some time since you were last active, and you had been silent—maybe too silent—all this time, so he should stop delaying your return unintentionally and let you do what you do best—annoying the hell out of him with your insistence to help him and the other Hunters and their guilds. He sighed once more. It was good while his peace lasted. He was just about to call your number when he paused midway and words from the Chairman rang in his head.
“If you continue to use that firm and indifferent tone everywhere you go, one day you will hurt someone with a fragile or sensitive heart and regret it. You might think it is professionalism, but even that has its limits and lines not to cross. Be more mindful of your harshness, young man. You never know what will happen in the future.”
Jinchul left the phone app and changed to check his schedule. He was free for the rest of the day, so he could pay you a visit. So he arrived in front of a familiar door and knocked on the door, then stepped back to wait for it to be opened. He had given you plenty of visits in the past because of various reasons he would also have a headache over. However, he can’t deny the dedication you show in your work and duties. Despite your title as “The Laziest Hunter of All Mankind”, you were hardly lazy when you put your mind to it. Yes, you constantly look at your phone, but the results you produce match those of his highest and most talented personnel. At the end of the day, he is still grateful for your presence.
He heard noises behind the people and mumbles of what he could piece out to be a conversation. Did you perhaps have friends over? He couldn’t help but let the edge of his lips curl up, concluding that would enjoy your free time if given the opportunity. Just as he thought of letting you have some more ‘suspension’, the door opened.
“Who are you, mister?” A little girl was answering the door.
“Uh.” Jinchul caught himself, then cleared his throat before he kneeled down in front of her. “Hello, I am Woo Jinchul with the Hunters Association’s Surveillance Department.” He explained with a small smile, showing his badge and name card, “Can I ask if there is a Hunter [Last Name] in this condominium?”
“That was the person who sold us the place.” A man, who was obviously the girl’s father, came to the door and cracked the door and opened it while nudging the girl behind his legs. The father took the name card Jinchul gave and looked it over. “But we don’t know where or what happened with the previous owner, we just moved in last week or so.”
From the gap, Jinchul saw the inside of the apartment. True to the man’s words, he had recently moved in, as evidenced by the scattered cardboard boxes and some furniture still wrapped up. The decoration within didn’t match what he recalled when he visited before. So it was all true. He bowed his head and thanked them for their time and excused him for the interruption, his mind blank as he returned to his car and stared at the steering wheel while his heartbeat quickened. His hands reached for his phone and pressed on your saved contact to dial your number.
The few seconds of silence and waiting felt like an eternity before he got his answer. The number was no longer in use. He tried again―same result. He opened your file information and tried again―same result. He manually typed in number for number—same result. What was happening? The words the Chairman spoke to him repeated in his mind as if he were unconsciously scolding himself. Just like that, a valuable asset to the association has gone missing without a trace.
His heartbeat beat loudly in his ears. He immediately pulled up your file, accessing the raid records. There had to be someone who would tell him where you were―someone you were close with and spent the most time with, someone you treasured.
Cha Hae-In blinked twice as she tried to catch her breath. Just like back on Jeju Island, Sung Jin-Woo was there to protect her. Granted that it was within control this time, but it was a massive callback to how powerless she was against a monster like that ant. All the praises and appreciation she has gained cannot shield or protect her from dangers and threats of that level. She knew she was lacking; she knew she should be training to maintain her level and further develop her skills, but whenever she was at her lowest, your words and advice came to her mind like a warm blanket over her. A valued and rare friend of hers who didn’t approach her to enjoy the benefits of knowing an S-Rank Hunter. At that, she smiled and unconsciously hugged herself. Why did she want to join this guild? Perhaps… It was because maybe there’s a higher chance of being closer to yo―
“Who? I don’t know who Hunter [Last Name] is, nor have I met this Hunter before. Why would I know where she is?”
Jin-Woo’s words made Hae-In snap her head in his direction at the speed of light. She came over to ask who he was talking to, and it turned out it was Woo Jinchul. You were missing? You weren’t in your apartment? No one knows where you are? Without another moment of hesitation and blankness, Hae-In excused herself and left the building. She’ll come back to the cluelessness of Jin-Woo later; right now, she needed to know what was going on with you.
Jin-Woo ended the call with confusion. He repeated your name in his head over and over, trying to find some memory of hearing this name, maybe even seeing this name somewhere. But it drew a blank. Who was this person? Why did Jinchul think he would know about this person? Why did Jinchul say this person was close to him? The biggest question was this person to him? Jinchul mentioned the more he questioned it, the worse his headache that started the moment that name.
[! NOTIFICATION] A harmful state has been detected. DEBUFF Health and Longevity LV. --
“What?” He noticed the green aura around him, eying Beru, who was trying to heal whatever pain he felt to the best of his capabilities, using Min Byung-Gyu’s talent, which he absorbed. He dismissed Beru and left the building as well, opting to return to his guild building office to rest a bit. He was hoping the headache would fade by the time he sat down in his chair, but it was persistent and a pain. To the point that even the system was interfering and trying to relieve him from this mundane suffering.
[! ALERT] Bug detected. Commencing restoration.
“A bug in the system? How is that possible?” Jin-Woo could not think straight as he gripped his head in his hands. This pain and the helpless feeling were familiar and foreign at the same time. He had grown so strong now that he pushed the days where those feelings and experiences to the back of his mind. As he had more pressing matters to deal with, his E-Rank days and moments wouldn’t be able to contribute much to his daily life now.
“Hey, don’t beat yourself over something you can’t control. The outside just wants to beat you down to laugh at you. Don’t let them and smile through! Be the best you can to get your revenge!”
The voice in his mind made him gasp just as his system gave him another window with a new message this time. The voice was familiar, as if it had a power over him. His headache was gone. He knew that contributed to his system’s functioning, but his heart was telling him another. The voice’s owner, speaking in a bubbly tone but with a touch of force and firmness, told him. It seemed like they had also been wronged and didn’t want him to face the same situation. He raised his head and read the message from the system.
[! NOTIFICATION] The harmful state has been removed. Conversation between Player and ??? requested. Do you allow this request? Yes No
“Yes.” There was no question. He had to know what was going on. This Hunter [Last Name], the voice in his mind, the headache from trying to remember, and the reason people think he knew someone he doesn’t. Now the system will be on his side and give him information, unlike before, so he will take it.
Greetings, Sung Jin-Woo, the Shadow Monarch. My identity is of no importance to you. Please know that you can refer to me as a CONSTELLATION. I urge you to remain in your world of ignorance and darkness. Accept this generosity and forget having this conversation and the one known as Hunter [Last Name]. Accept
His eyes glanced through the words, and anger boiled within him. Just as his system gave him answers, another came to erase them and attempt to push him back into the world of ignorance without his say. Why? Just because he was human and had nothing to offer or give to the higher beings? Just because they see him as inferior, so they can play him however they please, like a puppet. “How can I accept such a thing? You’re not even giving me another option but to bow to your whims. Who is Hunter [Last Name] to you? Why are you doing all this?”
It is of no concern to you. Forgotten memories meant no importance to the owner, yes? It applies to this case. I ask again, do you accept this generous offer to forget permanently that this conversation ever happened and the forgotten one? Accept
“You’re not even listening.” It was so infuriating that he was once again back to square one, back to his helpless state. This so-called constellation practically demanded that he forget everything and ignore it all. While his system did similar things during quests or dungeon raids, he was also using the system to further his goals. It was a mutual transaction. However, in this case, this so-called ‘constellation’ was crossing the line.
[! NOTIFICATION] Forgotten memories detected. Interference with the Player’s being detected. Restoration is available, including memories, removed item(s), and hidden gift(s). Do you wish to use <RESTORATION>? Effective immediately. Yes No
“Ha. At least my own system is helping me. Yes, restore everything right away.”

Hello, my lovely readers. It's me, heirloomgem! I hope that you guys enjoyed my latest fanfic and are doing well.
I'm actually planning on posting a monthly voting poll with 3 different animes or manga with characters to choose from.
You can pick/vote for whoever interests you and either send me any suggestions or request one shot regarding those characters. And whichever character wins on the voting poll, I'm going to post a one-shot series on them.
Please tell me if you are interested in it and I, then, would proceed with this plan.😊
Disclaimer: I don’t own anything except for my characters and plot. I’ve taken inspiration from Momo Art's comic.
Warning: Cockro- I’m not even going to say it. Sly Jinwoo😭
Y/n is Jinwoo’s childhood friend. He has met her since they moved right next to their apartment.
If Jinwoo were asked to describe Y/n, he would describe her as a mountain. Unmoved by anything, steady and strong, mentally and emotionally.
She has been a mountain for both Jinwoo and Jinah. Despite losing their parents under different circumstances, she has been there for them, in good and bad times.
She’s a strong woman, Jinwoo thought.
She has given him strength when he thought he couldn’t go on and to his sister, a mother figure to lean on.
She’s also kind.
Growing up with a kind family, who has been kind to them when they needed help, it's no surprise she grew into such a beautiful person.
She has also been a constant in Jinwoo’s life. Even though at one point, Jinwoo thought of her as a stubborn and reckless person.
He still remembers when he was still called the weakest hunter, the lowest in his rank.
One moment he was being insulted after a raid for getting injured before a blurred figure passed him. The next, he saw Y/n harshly grabbing the hunter’s shirt, snarling and swearing to the point even a sailor would be embarrassed. She almost choked the poor guy as well.
She had come on her own, carrying his lunch which he had forgotten when she saw how Jinwoo was being mistreated. This made her snap and charge recklessly, not even bothering that the guy was a hunter.
Soon, a scream of anguish erupted throughout the area as the man crouched down, holding his family jewels. Y/n kicked the guy in the nuts when he tried to pry and cursed at her.
The surrounding people and Jinwoo instinctually clutch their private area, trembling and paling at the sight. The guy was on his knees, mouth foaming and twitching.
Needless to say, it was chaotic after. Y/n was on the verge of being charged with assault if it weren’t for people stepping out and telling their grievances to the officer about the man. This guy has been insulting and assaulting people, especially female hunters.
In the end, the case was dismissed and forgotten. The guy, whose balls are still in pain, was fired as a hunter and got charged instead.
It was also the first time Y/n learned that a cute and timid animal can be scary. She trembled when Jinwoo scolded her with a cold close-eyed smile once they got home.
Y/n remembered her auntie being an ice queen with a scary smile whenever she got angry at Jinwoo's father. She guesses blood doesn’t lie, like mother like son.
…
Y/n is strong however there are times when she’s not.
Whether to laugh or question the universe, Jinwoo couldn’t help but choose the former when he recall such a moment.
It was a normal day for the three of them and a rare day off for Jinwoo. He had a few days off to rest before he could participate again since he got injured from his last raid.
It might have been because of the summer heat, causing everything to feel humid when that thing came out.
Jinwoo, y/n, and his sister were lounging in the living room, relaxing when Y/n felt something crawling at her legs. Long spiny and hairy legs were felt on her skin.
Y/n breath shallowed and her body turned cold from the foreboding feeling. Lifting her head, two small black beady eyes stared back at her.
A piercing shriek echoed in the living room, shocking both siblings.
Quickly looking at Y/n, Y/n stood up so fast she stumbled over and started thrashing around, causing it to fly overhead. (y/n refuses to say its name).
Seeing it, Jinah didn’t hesitate and screamed at the top of her lungs, joining her noona. (Jinah refuses to name the thing as well.) Immediately, taking cover.
Jinwoo stood up also when, suddenly, he found it hard to breathe.
Y/n had rammed into him and put her arms around him. If it were any other situation, Jinwoo would have enjoyed it. However, with how hard Y/n is gripping him, he’s sure he would die from this instead of the monsters he always faced.
Y/n called his name and he looked behind.
With teary eyes, she pleaded, “Jinwoo, please kill it .”
Jinwoo's lips twitched, feeling his ears burn and his cheeks flush. It’s illegal to look so cute while saying such disturbing words, he thought. Both things don’t match at all.
His sister screamed at him, this time without any reservation as it flew near her. This snapped Jinwoo from his dazed.
Jinwoo complained under his breath at his sister before he got to work but with difficulty as y/n clung to him. Yelling and hugging him tighter, when it got too close to them, his sister was not helping at all as she also screamed the whole time.
Can’t say he didn’t enjoy the whole fiasco though. Just recalling Y/n hugging him made him giddy and energetic for the next few days even if he started working again. The whole time they raid a dungeon, a silly smile stayed on his lips even when he got injured.
The other hunters couldn't help but secretly doubt that he might have finally lost it.
Now as an S-rank, witnessing such a similar event and feeling his darling’s arms around him as she clung for dear life. Jinwoo thoroughly enjoyed this bizarre situation.
With only his pants on and shirtless, Jinwoo just finished taking a bath when all the chaos occurred and he found himself being tackled.
That thing was flying all over the place, crawling and stopping at a place before flying again.
This time, Jinwoo took his time to kill it. Completely enjoying having his darling arms around him.
Immersed with his darling, it didn’t even bother Jinwoo when his sister almost fainted from fright when it got too close to her.
Without his shirt, Jinwoo directly felt her body, Y/n skin is so soft compared to his and so warm. He could even feel his darling's brea-,Jinwoo cough, quickly interrupting his thoughts. He felt his cheeks blushing.
However once Jinwoo finished the job, he felt his darling’s arms swiftly disappear as she ran away from the bug’s corpse that Jinwoo was about to dispose of.
Jinwoo quickly missed his darlings embrace. Unfortunately, he can’t complain since he hasn’t confessed nor are they in a relationship yet.
He could only wait for such a situation again but it's so rare and only when it's summer do these critters come out.
Throwing the bug into the trash can along with the paper he used, that’s when an idea hit Jinwoo.
For a long moment, he eyed the corpse before him.
…
It wasn’t long before such a situation occurred again and again. Every time, it just so happens that Y/n is in their apartment and it just so happens that Jinwoo is there. It also just so happens that thing appeared even though it's already the beginning of autumn.
Patting his darling's head, Jinwoo comforted and openly hugged her as she trembled in fear.
Jinwoo thought, it couldn’t be helped since his darling may be strong but there are times when she’s also weak especially when it comes to it.
He still found it cute no matter what.
Meanwhile, his sister, who has been sitting on the couch, throughout the whole thing, looks at him incredulously.
Jinah had been suspicious of that accursed thing when it started appearing every time her noona came to visit and, conveniently, her brother was always there.
Her suspicion grew stronger when it never once approached her at all. One time when she decided that it was safe, Jinah observed it and realized that that thing had become her brother’s shadow soldier.
She saw purple highlights on its body similar to her brother's other soldiers. And her brother shamelessly used it to scare her noona nonstop so he could hug her to his heart's content
Jinah had half the mind to shout at her brother when her brother glanced at her.
Smirking before putting a finger in front of his lips, a gesture for her to stay silent before he went back to comforting his darling.
Jinah screamed in her heart in disbelief ‘What a sly sadistic evil man!’
She couldn't decide whether she should pray for her future sister-in-law from that thing or from her brother.
A/n: Thank you for reading. Please don’t hesitate to tell me what you think of sly Jinwoo.
Extra:
Igris: He felt tormented whether he should praise his liege or feel pity for their Lady's suffering.
Meanwhile the other shadows…
Beru: “As expected of our liege!”
Bellion: "Quite clever, my liege."
Other soldiers: Just happily cheering for their king without a thought.

Author Status: Hello to my lovely readers and to those who are new here,
I’m slowly getting out of my writing block phase as my work and private life threw me a massive curve ball for the past few years. And so, if you sent me a request all those years ago, I would like to apologize for not posting anything.
My plan is to prioritize writing for myself, for now, to refresh myself and not put any massive pressure on any writing. As for the requests that I have received, I might slowly write them out though it might take a while. So please wait patiently.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
This blog is a Character X Reader multi-fandom blog.
I might write more for anime, manga, and manhwa but I will also write books or movie characters that I like.
I also post fanfic with my own OC or self-insert.
