While Spencer was on medical leave after getting himself stabbed- again- Aaron still had to go to work. Which led to him rushing around their small apartment attempting to get ready already running late because Spencer had accidentally convinced him to stay in bed for far too long. He couldn’t really blame his tardiness on the younger man though because he’d been sound asleep for most of the morning- and it was because he’d taken place on Aaron’s chest that he hadn’t wanted to get up.

When he does get up it’s only for a quick shower and a rushed cup of coffee before he was almost running out the door only interrupted when Spencer called from the couch “Aren't You forgetting something?”

“Oh,” He makes his way across the room leaning down to press his lips against Spencer’s softly. Spencer is bright red when Aaron pulls away,

“I meant these.” He holds up Arron’s keys with a shy smile. “But thanks.”

“Ah,” Spencer giggles a little, pressing the keys into his lover's hand.

“Have a good day at work.”

“Thank you.”
