Curate, connect, and discover
It would be funny if nuclear waste warning messages become an attraction for future historical linguists.
I mean look at this thing:
A parallel text in 7 languages, with 4 different scripts between them! And pictograms! All designed to be preserved intact!
lately I’ve been thinking a lot that Onni probably was the one who taught Lalli how to fight and use magic… well, one of the thoughts became a picture
I finally did something! :D
Actually that should be (and maybe that would be) a part of a little… series of pictures about coming back from dangerous scouting but seems I’m not able to finish things… anyway the best part is here
my god, I love that story so much. just give me friendship, give me danger, give me magic, give me crewmates who care for each other and I will be the happiest person on the earth. I need so little
hello everyone, I’ve just read “stand still stay silent” and I’m IMPRESSED
sorry for being so chaotic, I have no idea what my brain is going to like next time
(and check the original story, it is beautiful!)
2021 vs 2025
this was originally a meme redraw but for the life of me I can't find the original image. I definitely improved a lot even when drawing shitpost haha
OK I actually made two of these
Somehow always opens it with ease 🤨
Gives up after struggling for a bit (and going through all the stages of grief)
Runs it under hot water
Asks the person above to open it for them
Uses a knife as leverage
“If I can’t have this… no one can” *Throws it in the trash*
Doesn’t like pickles
'TIS THE SEASON
my old SSSS edits circa 2021 (the goat burned down that year hence the abundance of them)
If I had a nickel for everytime the long haired redhead cinnamon bun character gets grabbed in the face by a monster in a webcomic I like I wouldn't be able to buy much because twenty cents is not a lot.
Hey guys! Here's a list of all of the webcomics that I've either read or am actively reading.
Keeping up with as they post:
Aurora
The Glass Scientists
Castoff
Widdershins
Earth, 2068
Soul to Call
Bookwyrms
Checking in on occaisionally:
Kings of Sorts
Wychwood
Sleepless Domain
Dumbing of age
Wilde Life
Year in Hereafter
In Blood We Rise
Fairmeadow
Living in Future Tense
Read:
Sanity Circus (ended before it finished)
Ramshackle (no idea if it's going to get any more updates)
Never Satisfied (infinite hiatus)
Stand Still Stay Silent (finished)
Tripping Over You (finished)
Monster Pulse (finished)
Monsterkind (lost in webcomic purgatory)
Used to Read:
True Magic (turned into a text format which personally I am not a fan of, so I stopped reading)
Arrhythmia
Come Hell or High Water
Woah.
That's actually a lot now that I list it all out.
Characters with communication barriers who care about each other anyways have my heart
You know what’s an underrated trope? Language barriers. The frustration of not being able to communicate. The determination to figure it out anyway. The love and dedication to learn. The secret languages and charades made along the way. The “wait what” sillies when learning what a word or phrase actually means as opposed to what a character thought it meant.
Language barriers.
I always seem to come back to stand still stay silent. Lalli’s my fave, so I made a lil art piece.
Image Id: Full body of Lalli from stand still stay silent in his uniform from adventure 1. He’s holding a small knife in front of his face with his right hand. His left is down by his side, glowing with red mage magic. 3 trees and a purple, twilight sky are behind him. At his feet the snow is trampled. Around his is a ring of blood splatters.
