Curate, connect, and discover
It was pointed out to me that I sure wasn’t making life easy on anyone that might feel inclined to translate my little comic to another language. Since I went bananas with the bubble-less dialogue in the last update, here’s some translator-friendly edits for you fragrant and wonderful people out there!
Do let me know if you post any translated versions of my comic online or here on tumblr, and I’ll reblog it here!
EDIT: Now with 90% less THUMP
Chapter 8 END.
Well, the story’s pretty much complete now. Did it turn out how you anticipated? There is just one more update to wrap things up with a short epilogue, for next update. I’ll make a longer oh-god-is-it-really-finished type post then.
Have you enjoyed the series so far? Maybe you should consider buying me a coffee? I promise you that you’d be making the world just a little better if you do. Who knows, maybe I’ll do something special for my donors at the end!
I will never ever draw a rabbit family event EVER AGAIN. Oh, and full disclosure: As any TRUE Zootopia aficionado will immediately recognize, I very obviously traced the first panel of the last page from the concept art by Matthias Lechner. Bit of a nasty habit that.

The sealed letter makes a return! I’m sure all of you thought THAT was going to be significant, right? Surely there’s nothing else in this scene that can be cause for anticipation!
Sorry for being a bit delayed with this, I meant to have them both finished last night but but I underestimated how much time it takes to draw 35+ bunnies in a single panel. Anyway, now I have rabbit-shaped holes burned into my retinas, and I haven’t even seen the sun today!
Buy me a coffee? This might be one of your last chances!

Small update this time around! The plan is to do the title page of each chapter in color but the majority in simple monochrome.
The problem with colors is that I obsessively hammer my face against the color wheel until I randomly generate a good color scheme, which probably isn’t the fastest way to go about it. The next update should be bigger with a few pages at least.
Water under the Burrows is the comic sequel to Water under the Bridge, give it a read if you haven’t already!
If you think sleep is a waste of time, and would like that I spend more hours everyday drawing comics about talking animals, please do consider doing your part to keep me caffeinated by clicking this link!
Thank you so much for those that already donated!
Finally, the first chapter of this project is ready for posting! I’m very pleased to present to you Water under the Burrows chapter 1: Welcome Home! Enjoy!
If it’s hard to read, remember you can see them in full size by right-clicking the image and picking “open in new tab”.
This whole story is quite a departure from my previous undertaking, not in the least because this time, I have a script writer telling me what to do! I won’t be flooding your dash with waves of updates of this size unfortunately, it’ll be more of a trickle but I hope to make weekly or biweekly updates, of a few pages at a time. It’s rather a long story, I estimate it’ll take me about 3 months to post the entire thing!
The more attentive among you might recall my obnoxious gushings from last year? Well, this story is the sequel to WriteAnon’s Zootopia fanfic, Water under the Bridge. It’s our take on the ever-popular “Wildehopps goes to Bunnyburrow” scenario, when newly-couple Nick and Judy can take a break from saving the city and instead tackle something really scary, meeting the parents!
Don’t worry, we’ve worked very hard to make this story accessible to anyone that haven’t read the original fic, but I still maintain that the story is well worth the read!
In other news, I’ve had some people ask me if I plan to make a Patreon. I don’t, BUT I’ve decided to make a tip jar! If you think sleep is a waste of my time and would much rather I spend more hours per day drawing comics about talking animals, please do consider lessening the amount of thirst in the world by clicking the button at the top of my page OR this link!
For those of you that are curious, we’re referencing July Talk, with their track The Garden in the first few panels!
