Your eyes flit open, brows knitting. Or perhaps not. Groaning in annoyance, you sit up. 

"Huh." 

You just realised. You have no recollection of when you went to bed. It is like you walked into your apartment and blacked out. How peculiar. 

It rings again.

“Who the frick?” you ask, not even realizing that you asked a question. 

You get out of bed and drag your feet out of your bedroom. You don’t even bother turning on the lights, the moon is bright enough to illuminate your apartment.
