megumi is lying beside you, close enough that you can feel his shoulder pressed to yours, his warmth filling the chilly air around you.

you can’t help but roll your eyes a little, muttering something about how he’s so cheesy, but he just smiles wider. he catches your hand before you can hide your face.

“you can roll your eyes all you want,” he whispers, voice a little rough around the edges. “but when i’m with you it’s like you’re the dream that i get to live.”
