DUE TO STRESS AND STUFF I DECIDED THAT I WILL ONLY DO THE PARTS OF TMNTEMBER I GENUINELY WANNA DO CUZ I CANT SPIT OUT 22 ART PIECES IN THE SPAN OF TWO DAYS. I might actually finish the rest in October... Idk so here's the first topic I really wanted to talk about and draw:
DAY 13: SCARS, PART 1
oh boy oh boy! More talking less art but it counts.
So here's my idea on the scars, starting with my fav turtle, thus making his scars the WORST cuz I love him, DONATELLO!!
So we all know Donnie got disintegrated into atoms in that one ep right? And then got put together right? Well! I have a headcanon, also a part of my future AU. Basically:
A week or so after the events of the episode, Donnie wakes up in the middle of the night (for some reason idk I'm bad at making up shit). He scratches his head and finds out: his middle finger on his right hand is bleeding. It must've been for a while, cuz there's quite a bit of blood on the bed as well. When did that happen? Did he hurt himself during the day? Why would it start bleeding now? Wanting to continue sleeping, he just puts a bandaid on and goes to sleep again. He wakes up in the morning, and damn. The bandaid is completely drenched in blood, there's a lot of blood on the bed. Oh shit!
He gets up and Immediately runs to the kitchen to tell his brothers. Why won't it stop bleeding? It's just a tiny scratch. After thinking for a while, Leo tries using the healing mantra that Splinter taught him. The bleeding stops! For a whole minute. Then it starts again. This is weird. Really weird. They bandage it for now, sitting down in the kitchen to eat breakfast (pizza ofc idk?). Some time passes, and Casey and April show up to say hello! That's when it hits. Oh no. Donnie quickly runs to his lab, finds his best microscope, fiddles with it a bit so his finger fits under it and checks. Exactly what he thought. His finger is slowly dissapearing. Atom by atom, piece by piece. Due to the constant disintegration, the finger can't heal, causing blood to spill nonstop. Shit! What now??
Anyways. I think that's long enough... In the end they search for the remains of the crystal that managed to get Donnie put back together so Dee can study it and find out how to stop the disintegration, but by the time he does the damage done on his hand is really bad, thus the robotic prosthetic. Wowie!!!! I will definitely draw this someday
Man.. I feel like I'll make this into more parts cuz this is extremely long already. Most people won't even read this. So yeah, Part 1!!!

some tidbits!
Casey used to play goalie for his hockey team (which is why he has a mask from it, but he never uses for patrols) Casey now plays center
April used to play on the softball team but quit after freshman year because she just really didn’t enjoy it and wanted to put her energy fourth to think she actually liked
Their mascot is the Penguins, because when I asked my co-writer immediately he said penguins I did not budge. Literally no other reason.
Their jersey numbers mean nothing essentially I went to a random number generator and that’s what I put on them
these two are besties, and I love thinking about their dynamic of being “2 totally normal teenagers who definitely don’t have mutants as friends or have saved the world about 6 times”
not the most reliable, Ik but I’ma be posting more bc at this point is when my art steps up a notch so I’m more proud to present it :) but I had to get through the ugly and stupid drawings first to get to this part see y’all soon, critters!

BAXTER AND BISHOP
The last page are the first initial concepts (decided on Baxter having cornrows, because any other hairstyle just felt way too out of place for him)
Little background on either of them
Baxter are used to work for TCRI until the incident happened when he was fired he was struggling to find work, and Schroeder took him In, of my chart he falls into “complete A$$hole Baxster” territory, he seems like he’s better than everyone and everyone hates this egotistical evil autistic man. However he’s a teacher pet to shredder. Andy foots main tech guy
(I will be, including the joke that the turtle KNOW his name, but never refer to him as it in front of him just to piss him off)
Bishop was a college professor but he had rather unorthodox and wacky methods that would lead to him getting fired because too many students whent missing. He’s a Kooky mad scientist to a T and honestly I just think he’s a silly little guy. The shredder knows his potential and is willing to put up with his Silliness because 90% of the time everything he does benefits the foot, much to Baxter’s dismay
They’re forced to work together. They have a dynamic of my best friend/ I hate this bitch (later on, and it totally gay way) Baxster is strictly tech wall bishop is strictly biology n shit)

It was all this time basically when the turtles first got their real weapons they started training it was going good until Leo accidentally cut raph’s face open (Leo was terrified and still apologizes to this day)
when Ralph saw it, he thought it looked so cool I decided not try and heal it so it would stay a scar, and he still doesn’t regret it >:)

have you seen the tmnt au competitions, where the creators draw/write their turtles interacting with each other? (an example!) it's like that, but there's no competition, just the interacting!
so i guess the prompt would be. your au/iteration turtles (of your choice) randomly get thrown into the room i drew, seeing my turtles already there (and the turtles of anyone before you, i guess? there hasn't been anyone though)
and then you draw their reactions? (and usually people draw the other people's characters too, which we can also do except im probably gonna mischaracterize everyone)
except i think some of the competition interactions are pre-planned?? so do we talk about what our turtles would do first?? idk
