Splinter makes them a fragrant miso soup, tells them stories about heroes and youkai, teaches them to understand the intricacies of the tea ceremony, instilling love for their culture. He is not just a father, but a mentor in life, helping them find their way in a difficult world.

Teacher: As a sensei, Splinter is strict and demanding, like the tsukumogami spirit embodying the wisdom of old things. He teaches turtles the art of ninjutsu, passing on to them the secret techniques of the Hamato clan. Splinter understands that in a world where youkai are becoming a reality, katana and shuriken mastery is not just a sport, but a necessity for survival. He instills in them discipline, concentration, and the ability to control their emotions so that they can withstand any challenges.
