Too Tired But You. Get The Point - Blog Posts

Gender is like a label. with your category on it.

Imagine this: a pink label, a blue label. You place it in your shirt when you enter this job. Pink label employees and blue label employees are percieved as different. But then, things start to get weird.

As pink label employees are sorted out of blue labels to work in other stuff, blue labels see them as inferior because of their "easy work". There's a lot of fights going on because of the "disbalanced" work, when both labels get the same treatment and work. But now, they no longer do. Now the treatment to pink labels is worse. And then every person introduced to the workplace is introduced to a (labelist) mindset where the both labels are against each other. They're always disbalanced, even if they are assigned the same amount of work. There's still people who slack and people who work extra hours, but it comes down to their choice. Until it no longer does.

And then, someone doesn't like their label.

Maybe someone feels better with the blue label on them.

Maybe someone would prefer a yellow label.
