the words you make me say

when the waters in my lungs

and i am drowning

and falling

are the words that hurt the most

but they are the words

that make my mind ache

with the buzz of the most deepest sincerity

you told me to live

and to feel

so i experienced all those things

without you

but for you

because you told me to

because of you

i stayed afloat
