I'm back with more Pac-Man themed Pole Position teams. This 4th team is the "Woofa MAPPYNI Racing team, which is also a "fanmade" parody of the Williams Formula 1 team since the color pattern is based on the team colors of the 2000s, and has the sponsors of today's team. The driver lineup of this team is strange since it consists of Woofa the Yeti from Pac-Man Party, and Skeebo. Since Skeebo is arrogant believing he's the best driver in Pac-World, he might think a yeti won't stand a chance against him. But Skeebo should watch out because as seen in Pac-Man Party, Woofa isn't an ordinary yeti, as he has proven that he's no pushover when he has competition and will give Skeebo a tough challenge, even as his teammate.

Im sorry but the whole Kimi replacing Logan at Imola thing is crazy… like I get it everybody want to win but like I feel like (if this is in any way real) that there is just no respect towards Logan. Like he fought to get his way here, he’s still fighting and he has to deal with all this crap. Give him at least till summer break; Then revaluate. Hell give him the season.

Don’t get me wrong here folks, I love Kimi but he’s a literal child. Give him time to grow as a driver too. Put him in F1 when he is at his best, not a last minuet replacement.

so happy that carlos is getting to do all these cool things and have all these partnerships and ambassadorships rather than before when he was with that horse team

I have said this before (and will probably say it again and again) but I am so happy that Carlos is in Williams. He is an extremely talented driver and intelligent, he knows his stuff. Williams loves and appreciates him. He has a great teammate in Alex Albon who also is an extremely talented driver and very intelligent who also knows his stuff and they seem to have so much fun together

Woke up sick and scrolled through TikTok to try and get my mind off of how horrible I’m feeling. Saw a TikTok video about Alex and Carlos with the quotes “Red Bull has a problem and it’s Alex Albon” and “what a day for Ferrari but they won with the wrong car”. After everything they have gone through in their careers and not having been appreciated enough in their former teams (especially Red Bull and Ferrari) I am so happy they are now both in a team that really values them, and I am happy they are in that team together as teammates

I’m really excited for this era of Williams, because I really believe they can achieve big things

But yeah a tad bit sad for Australia cause Carlos was the defending winner and everything and we missed one result and some points but we already got 10 points from Alex and it's an amazing start. Plus that disappointment is drowned out by excitement for China since Shang hai was always an intriguing track.

We have a lot to look forward to because we can see that the pace of Williams which got Alex P4 is fucking brilliant and the crash wasn't even Carlos' fault so we have everything to look forward to.

The way when the podium sitters saw Carlos' crash one of them said (I couldn't see which one 😭) "Ohh Carlos..." SO FONDLY

Thinking about how Logan will be practically erased for the rest of the season...there's probably a ton of content he filmed for COTA and grill the grid, etc. that won't ever be released now :(

I was lowkey hoping Logan would get to see out the rest of the season and do the funniest thing (be a menace to the team) but oh well

Upgrades at Imola (and how they fared in FP 1-2-3)

Teams usually start bringing in large upgrade packages by now, with the start of the European races, as it’s far easier to transport them. Because of this, the constructors’ (or even drivers’) championship could change drastically following this weekend.

Here's a list of upgrades I could find + FP results. Do take it all with a grain of salt though since it's just practice.

Ferrari : New sidepod inlets and rear wings amongst other things (9 upgrades in total).

To the joy of all the Italian men watching, Charles Leclerc topped the time sheets, leading by over a tenth in both FP1 and 2.

Red Bull : upgraded their floor, front wing, rear corner and nose.

Max Verstappen, however, had a terrible few sessions, taking a short tumble onto the gravel and seeming to carry balance and grip issues over from Miami. It wasn’t just him in the gravel though, as he was joined by Sainz, Tsunoda, Albon, Hamilton, Piastri and others across the FP sessions.

His teammate, Perez, didn’t fare any better, with a red flag called in FP3 after he skipped across a turn hit the wall.

Aston Martin : Brought in new front wings, nose, floor, diffuser, engine cover, rear suspension and rear corner. Alonso crashed in FP3 as well, causing the first red flag.

Mclaren : Brought circuit-specific wings. They're still going strong, Piastri going second fastest in FP2 and both Mclarens topping the times in FP3.

VCARB : Hasn't seem to bring in any large upgrades going into their home race. Doesn't seem to matter though as Tsunoda goes 3rd fastest in FP2.

Williams : Made some tweaks to their floor.

Albon also signed to extend his contract earlier this week while on the way to kiss stingrays, citing that he believes in the “long-term project” that Williams is currently building on.

In FP1 however, his car’s engine shut down, leading to speculation about whether or not this was the best decision for his career. The car is also apparently overweight, rendering it much slower.

Sargeant didn't receive the aforementioned upgrade as far as I know.

Alpine, Stake : Have done the same as Williams, slightly upgrading their floors.

Haas : Now have a new, reshaped rear wing suspension. Nothing too noteworthy happened, except Magnussen cutting it a bit close to Ricciardo's RB in the last few seconds of FP3.

Mercedes : Have a new floor body, floor fences, beam wing, rear wing and front corner, seemingly the second part of the upgrades brought in at Miami.

Russell goes second fastest in FP1, only for both Merc drivers to complain about bumping in FP2.

Super excited for the Chinese GP since it’s been gone for so long… hoping Sauber gets their shit together bc I really want Zhou to score points 😭😭

But also, they’re giving the drivers ONE HOUR to get used to the track before sprint shootout starts, which is insane for a circuit that hasn’t been on the calendar since 2019. Hell, some of the grid haven’t even been on the circuit before. What a decision.

Logan Sargeant just crashed in FP1 and lost the front wing,,, how we feeling logang

On the surface it's easy to understand why Williams picked Alex to drive over Logan for the weekend (better track record + more experience = more likely to get points for them) but the thing is NEITHER have gotten points yet and last year's AusGP resulted in EIGHT retirements, so this just puts so much pressure on Alex and probably destroys Logan's confidence in the team and himself.

It also means if Alex doesn't perform then he and the team are going to get a whole lot more criticism than they already have, which I don't honestly think is deserved (at least not on Alex's end). Time will tell if the decision pays off though.
