beautiful pictures microleafhopper moment!!!!!!!!! ahhh so good to see some of my regulars getting some love :) leafhoppers are wonderful and fascinating insects these just happen to be a very small subgenre of them! without a macro lens they just look like little white specs but up close you can see that most have intricate orange/red/yellow patterning some are also black as seen in the 3rd image! not all leafhoppers are this small these all just happen to be ''micro'' many leafhoppers are larger and have bright patternings of all possible colors one of the most familiar to the general masses being the red-banded or candy-striped leafhopper (Graphocephala coccinea)! i freaking love leafhoppers and all hoppers in general
