Am I the only one that feels like people are missing the point of Jack’s statement? He said “I don’t like that Mr. Beast makes his entire personality about money” and everyone went “As If YoU dOn’T mAkE mOnEy.” Like, that's not the point. Do I think he was being over dramatic when he said Mr. Beast ruined YouTube? Yes, absolutely. But do I think he had really valid points that people are ignoring? Yes, absolutely.

He wasn’t saying “Making money on YouTube is bad,” he was saying “making your entire personality about money on YouTube is bad” because it perpetuates flex culture that was already bad. Mr. Beast uses charity and things with a hefty price tag for content. Jack doesn’t. Jack has done charity live streams to help feed people and help kids with cancer, yes. But he doesn’t flex it like Mr. Beast does. That's the point he’s getting at.

Also, Mr. Beast claims that he hasn’t bought anything lavish (Specifically a Mansion and sports cars) and only makes content to encourage people in need.

Looking at the videos he makes below (all his most recent,) what about them encourages me to help people and not blow my money on stuff?

For someone who doesn’t buy lavish things, those all seem really expensive, right? Just saying 🤷
