if you give “stupid” characters rural/southern accents i don’t like you and if you give “smart” characters rural/southern accents but it’s a punchline i don’t like you even more

i am hyper aware of peoples' tendency to do this and it says so much about them yeah so my ancestors are a little country. can't imagine why weird it's like they came from the south. huh. wonder how that happened
