I gotta do a public speaking in class for 15% of my grade. The topic was my role model. I picked was obviously Louis 🤧 So we're supposed talk about their successes and why he's my role model. My problems are:

~He has his many awards, ltwt, fitfwt, afhf, charities, music in general, but I only have 5 minutes to talk

~I can yap about him all day

~I ONLY HAVE 5 MINUTES

~I want to write about his 🎂🍑 but it's not school appropriate

Marauders band AU:

James and Peter forming a band in their really early teens. Denim jackets, converse and matching hair. Sirius black coming along years later looking for an escape from his family all of which are world renowned classical composers. Cigarettes, liquid eyeliner and painted nails. Potter on the guitar, Pettigrew on Vocals/Keyboard, Black on the drums. Remus lupin found them last, an eighteen year old with nothing to loose, Doc martens, Scars and hands born to play the bass. Lily, Marlene and Mary a band who they met at a recording studio. Sirius putting up his hair with drumsticks. Regulus carrying on the black name with Barty, Evan, Pandora and Dorcas, playing violins and pianos and cellos at opera houses. Wolfstar being shipped by fans worldwide. Joint Instagram accounts. Regulus teaching James how to play on a keyboard because he didn’t want to overshadow Remus. Sirius and Regulus being seen arguing in Public, captured by Paparazzi. Leather jackets and designer suits. Remus himself having a tremor in his hands, he needs meds for just so they can stop shaking. Arguments before concerts. Chaotic interviews, music videos. Questions asked about love, Peter smirking, James blushing, Remus kissing Sirius. The whole lot of them LGBTQ+ icons, Remus, Lily and Regulus performed a song together once and everyone went mental. I could go on. The potential is here guys.

I think now is a good time to share my thoughts on Marauders as ice-cream flavours. But instead of being a nice simple list, it will be a mess hehe.

You might think you already know a lot of what I am about to say, and you're probably wrong.

Firstly strawberry, sorta basic but fruity. Except when you think fruity you don't usually think strawberry. Lily. Lily Evans is infact sorta basic (in a complex way, in a she is Rory Gilmore way) but love her for it, and she is infact fruity.

You are probably guessing Remus is chocolate cause duh and James is caramel. But caramel is sweet but salty. James isn't salty. You know who is ? REMUS !

James is cookies and cream. Period.

Peter is bubblegum 100% I will not be elaborating.

No one is getting vanilla cause vanilla is the worse (anti vanilla) and no one deserves that. I was thinking Severus for a sec but no. He gets pistachio

Sirius, mint chocolate yeah ? No, that makes no sense. So then Regulas mint choc ? Nope. Reg is blueberry and Mary is rasberry swirl. It just makes sense.

So who gets mint choc ? Bellatrix, cause she gets a lot of hype and I see why but like, if you are to pick your favourite ice-cream flavour, and you say mint choc. Like really ? That is all I need to know about you... Also mint choc has this little bite to it so yeah, Bellatrix

Rainbow ice-cream. Ahh this one is Sirius, cause he just screams gay. No. Rainbow ice-cream is just vanilla with colour, it taste the same but you don't think it does cause the colours make it better. I am sorry but you are Lucius.

I was gonna make Sirius mango, cause mango ice-cream is iconic, fruity and iconically fruity. But Sirius is far to extra for that. That is why Marlene is mango and Sirius is watermelon. I will not be taking criticism.

Dorcas gets rainbow sherbet cause it is lesbian and so is she.

If Remus isn't chocolate who is I hear you say, Alice and Frank. They definitely share that category.

I don't think Pandora has one flavour, she just has many mixed together. It just makes sense.

Barty is lemon. Because I love lemon, it a little sour and always surprises me, as well as it is technically fruity. So yeah, Barty.

And Narcissa is that pretty purple one (called Ube) cause she is pretty, photogenic and not like other girls. I am in love with Cissy. But also, Ube sounds so fancy and above everyone else, along with I am scared to try it, like what actually is it ? I am confused.

Oh and Evan, he doesn't get a flavour cause he is lactose intolerant. He just gets the cone with tons of toppings in it (yes I know this is about what they would be, not what they are getting, but I don't care, he just doesn't get a flavour.) (because yes this is an excuse to share this hc of Evan)

You have no idea how many people lurk on your work. No idea how many times people go back to revisit your work. How big they smile when they simply think about your work. How fast their heart beats, how excited they get when they see that you posted something.

People are shy with their feedback. Sometimes it’s because they’re simply shy. Other times it’s because they assume you already know how great and talented you are. Could be both.

My point is, even if you barely have any likes or reblogs, don’t get discouraged. You have a lot of silent fans, but they are still your fans. Keep on creating. Because there is always someone out there who will love what you have made.

It’s 2023, and Larries still can’t enjoy Louis Tomlinson, the artist, as an individual. It always has to be about him and that other person. Everything he does has to relate to someone else. Never appreciated or celebrated his art without needing to link it to someone else. If he wears something, oh, it’s because of someone else; if he expresses himself, oh, it’s about that person; if he has lights surrounding him, it’s not about him alone; no, never, that can not be. The disrespect is constant. I saw someone tweet about wanting to get into Louis, and the replies were about Larry and "proof" compilations from when he was young so many moons ago. Not his music, not his shows, nothing about him alone, nothing about the person and artist he is NOW. Larries do not realize the damage they cause on a daily basis. The whole idea of Larry goes beyond shipping; it in itself is disrespectful, homophobic, and misogynistic on so many levels. Let me play along and say Larry was or is real, and one of them or both do not want to talk about or be public with their sexuality (and stop with the management thing). Why in the world would you engage in a behavior that outs him? What Larries do is not done behind closed doors or only in fanfics (that alone is a conversation for another day); during Louis’ AOTV premiere, his concerts, online, among his colleagues and peers, Larries are there, and they are not just loud but obnoxious. Imagine saying you care about someone (well, more about their sexuality and who he "might" be dating), and yet you out him every chance you get. Vile behavior. Louis is a person with layers, friends, and experiences that you will never have access to, and that makes you mad and outraged. You attack people he loves, people he dates, and people he wants to be part of his life. You disrespect his family, his son, and his friends, and then claim that you love him while you scream liar to him with no shame. You don’t see Louis as an individual, and you need to realize that. You take part in homophobic stereotypes and discussions about his private sex life; you fight and get annoyed when he exhibits any behavior that doesn’t fit your misogynistic stereotypes; the same man that writes songs like Angels Fly, Holding on to Heartache, Defenseless... (insert all his discography). You contribute the "tommo way" to being an asshole. You showcase classist behavior; you don’t even want to admit that everything he stands for and all his values that he has spoken about publicly go against the person you so desperately "ship" him with. Louis is a solo artist in his 30s, on his second world tour, standing on his own after years of self-doubt. He finally found confidence and joy in being on stage, he talks about how thankful he is to be accepted, and feeling safe as AN ARTIST, and yet all Larries care about is: is he gay? He can’t be straight... Grow up and reevaluate what you are really doing. Louis has had enough struggles; enjoy the music and stop reducing him into a delusional ship.
