Okay election results will be coming out, eventually at least, so let’s talk about the procedure if trump wins. Firstly, as a queer person, at least for now, you aren’t queer. You’re straight, all your friends are straight, you’re not trans, none of your friends are trans. You aren’t leftist or even moderate. This is the only way to keep yourself and friends safe, especially if trump does everything he’s promised. Secondly, if you are at riots/protests in response to whatever batshit insane law the gop passes next, cover yourself, head to toe, especially any identifying tattoos and your face, both to avoid being recognized and avoid tear gas if possible. As is always true, but especially if he wins, tell the cops nothing and paramedics everything. Thirdly, don’t post anything leftist, lgbtq, or protest related on social media. That could fuck you over fast. Especially the protests. And lastly, please stay safe. Please

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you use obs with a laptop. This means that you may get the show for free long after its removal.

I need advice
Oh tumblr gods, how do I know if I have a toxic parent. My mom isn’t abusive but she has a couple little signs that set off little alarms in my head. And if she is toxic do you have advice for how to exist with her because moving out isn’t an option (I’m still in high school). Every time I try to talk to someone about it they say it’s not a big deal because we have an overall positive relationship(because I have to live with her). But I can’t help but notice that I am much happier at my dad’s than at her house. I crave your wisdom oh tumblr gods.

I am Nevin Al-Sir, I live in Gaza, I am 27 years old, I used to work as an accountant in an accounting firm, I am married and have a child, I was also pregnant during the war, the war on Gaza, and when the evacuation order came from our area in Gaza, we fled through the corridor that the occupation lied to us about and the safe corridor was a disaster. We walked on foot, the longest distance I have ever walked in my life. I was displaced to a tent with the rest of my family, and it was very difficult, tiring and exhausting. Every time there was an evacuation in the southern areas, I was forced to evacuate again to a worse tent. Then I gave birth to my child in a field hospital because the hospitals were out of service. I gave birth to my son in the winter, the cold and the war together, which did not destroy my house and my tent. Now we live in a tent, me, my mother, my father, my husband, my brothers, my sisters and their children, and I need your support to try to survive.

Why should it be normal to sit back and watch so many Arab families’ lives get destroyed just like that? This is so unfair. Heart is so heavy. Our lives have been turned upside down by the devastating war in Gaza, and we desperately need your help.
My daughter Rajaa is a radiant beam of sunshine, bringing boundless joy, warmth, and love to everyone she meets.
On a dark night at the beginning of the war, our area was subjected to massive bombing. The explosions reached our home, forcing us to flee into the night, running amidst periodic explosions and searching for survival. We made our way to southern Gaza by morning, seeking refuge in Rafah.
This is our home, filled with our memories and moments of joy and happiness, now reduced to rubble. Its destruction shattered our hearts.
In Rafah, we found shelter in a crowded warehouse filled with strangers, all of us struggling to find basic necessities like food, water, safety, and cleanliness. Despite these challenges, we were again hit by direct bombardment. My husband was injured in the shoulder, and the scene around us was filled with blood and corpses. The cries of my children in those moments still echo in my head.
A fragment of what it once was, and now, what it has become.
We moved several times to places described as safe, only to face new tragedies. During this period, my precious daughter Raja contracted hepatitis, adding to our suffering.
It was incredibly difficult for me to endure these disasters, especially as I was in the process of giving birth. Youssef was deprived of proper breastfeeding and the necessary nutrition for his age. Hussein's right to education and a safe childhood have been cruelly taken from him.
My baby Youssef, whom I clung to throughout the war, running with him through the rubble of shattered homes to escape.
At an age when Hussein should have been enjoying his childhood, all his rights were taken away from him.
Our situation is dire, and we need your support to rebuild our lives and provide a future for our children. Your kindness and generosity can make a profound difference. Your contributions will help us secure safe shelter, access to medical care, and the basic necessities of life.
