specifically the list... My item categories have icons now. Icon design is hell but it's satisfying to have a finished set. Maybe I should try spending time brainstorming on ben and baber.
This was like the last thing I added before terrain bugged me out so much that I decided rewriting the entire codebase and switching to 3D would be more enjoyable than trying to get it to work
The whole point is to provide context on what important modifiers might have applied to the damage. I've overhauled the battle system a bit since so they don't look like this anymore but yea progress...
reposting everything kinda sucks, but like I haven't been making a lot of new content while I've been focusing on the story so hopefully, this will hold over? maybe. I should work on my game more.
I kinda of want to tweak it a little, don't mind the placeholder icons lol. As for what I've been doing up until now. I was working on this back in March and uh since then I've been tweaking the game here and there. As for the lack of posts... I just got lazy I guess.
Hello, this is Ali from the future just checking in to show off these amazing new isosprites. Now you can see Jordan and Phoebe on the overworld. Way better than Alice and her two doppelgangers. The hardest to make had to have been Phoebe tho. Her hat is nuts.
I call em isosprites since they are isometric sprites. Off all the art in my game I like these the most, yet I never want to spend time making more of them. I guess ill get all the time in the world to make them if I can get passed this project's pre-production phase (I'm sorta close... maybe I should make a checklist...) sneaky peeky behind the scenes
A blog for a game about a rather peculiar exam. Made in Godot Engine!
