Not only do I think Dean’s autistic, but I think his autism masked his queerness.
I think Dean is a highly masking autistic who very early on learned to adapt his behavior to whatever would keep him safe or get a (hunting) job done.
And when his dad displayed disapproval of his bisexuality or feminine quirks? That was just another thing to mask and he was already good at it.
And this macho man womanizer? It’s his most useful autistic mask. It’s a role he’s practiced the most.
I also think that masking is why Dean is so good at hustling (that and maybe doing the micro expression overcompensating autistic thing).
For this day I was trying to do something with undiagnosed disability/ chronic illness. I think that most of us have had a time in our lives where we didn't understand what's going on and just wish someone would see what we're going through.
If you yourself are at a point in your disability journey without a diagnosis, please know your experiences are real and valid. Whether you have a diagnosis or not. And I wish all of you luck in your journeys moving forward <3
(Note: This is the first time I've done alt text for something this big, so if you have any revisions or better alt text please feel free to send them my way!!)

Yess!! I love that!
I headcannon Alastor as autistic and sure I can explain all my reasons but this is more important:
Made by Always_Wrong
Fuck you man- "in moments of survival humans will regress into our base instinct to survive and throw anyone away to do so"
Literally proven not true when Seong Gi Hun's loan shark ally gave up his life in Rock, Papers, Scissors, Death to save the other guy. Who is the type of person the VIPs and the Frontman consider "Trash" and "rats" of the earth. He saw him as a friend and a brother, officiated his wedding, despite being a piece of shit he sacrificed himself, while the Frontman straight up shot his actual kid brother.
They cannot predict how people will react, they can just create the worse situations and hope it causes strife and conflict. Which it does. But it also creates friendships and loyalty, and thats a phenomenon that continues to confound and intrigue them. They believe it's a fluke, the humanity shown despite the horrors seen. Love so overcoming you strive for someone else's survival over your own. The outstretching of a hand despite the possibility of being bit. But really I believe its a core factor of our survival, and of the show
Ninjago season 1 is so funny bc it’s like 2 normal teenage boys then the most autistic looking individuals you will ever meet in your fucking life
Alastor: I'm an evil unknowable monster that only does things for strange manipulative Machiavellian purposes and i am never affected emotionally by anything
Rosie and Mimzy: he's an anxious aroace sweetheart who'll do anything for people he likes and is hugely protective to the point of self-destruction, but if you let him know this he might disintegrate, so we let him know he's very scary and formidable every once in awhile to boost his confidence- YES ALASTOR YOU'RE A DEPRAVED LOATHSOME TERROR OF THE INCOMPREHENSIBLE ELDRITCH KIND! YOUR ABILITY TO CAUSE CARNAGE IS WIDELY KNOWN! YOUR PRESENCE FILLS PEOPLE WITH DREAD 👍
"Vox will be the main antagonist of season two" okay. And Angel Dust will simply teach Alastor the fine arts of "flirting" and "leading people on". This is how they orchestrate Vox's downfall.
THIS IS SO FUNNY THOUGH this is why I love this comic so much
I love the idea of just. taking advantage of vox's obsession with alastor to the hotel crew's advantage (did any of them hear ANY part of stayed gone? I mean there's a radio in the main room so they had to have at least heard alastor's part if not vox's), I find it incredibly funny if like one way or another they find out that vox tried to ask alastor OUT and their first solution is to use alastor to their advantage and alastor begrudgingly agrees (after recovering from the shock of the revelation which went something like "what")
alastor showing up, trying to take vox out to dinner, hating every second of it, and vox mentally thinks
HAH! After all these years you come crawling back to me. After you rejected being with me, after you lost your opportunity to share greatness with me, how could you possibly think I'd agree to this?
"So… will you… *sigh* join…. me……. for dinner?" he says with an exasperated look.
As if! "Yes!" FUCK!
alastor sucks at doing what angel taught him (and refuses to even do everything he tried to teach him. because no. absolutely not.) but it works anyways. because it's vox.
whatever losses the vees suffer from because of this, velvette scolds vox for and he goes on about how much he was tricked and when she finds out it's just because alastor took him out to dinner she bursts out laughing
