I need a movie where Misha Collins plays a gay angel that falls in love with a bisexual cowboy played by Jensen Ackles. Their names are Cassius and Daniel, Cas and Dan. Jared Padalecki plays Daniel’s younger brother, Samson. It’s a blatant ripoff of SPN. The quality is extremely shitty and the budget was $40. Misha is wearing a pair of shitty $12 angel wings from Amazon and a cardboard halo. Jensen has a water gun instead of a real one. For some reason Samson is a mime, dressed in full mime ensemble, and breaks the fourth wall via miming his frustration about how Daniel and Cassius won’t get together. It has a laugh track and uses those “oohs” and “ahhs” and gasps that were in those early 2000s disney channel shows. Whenever Daniel shoots his gun you just hear Jensen making “pew pew pew pew” noises as red water squirts out.
I love to bully Apollo for the decisions he makes, but tbh he’s incredibly well adjusted by the end of TOA all things considered.
If my father forcefully underdeveloped my brain to that of a sixteen year old and threw me to the wolves, I would have turned the gas stove on at the next solstice meeting and walked out of Olympus.
the thing that's important to understand about cas and crowley is that theyre both on the team because theyre the most human of their kind. just a little too soft and emotional for their own good. neither of them really fit in with the rest of the angels and demons. and also theyre huge fucking losers. that's also important. your honor theyre lame and pathetic as hell fr and theyre both in love with Just Some Guy from kansas who's so deep in the closet you'd think he'd be able to find something other than flannel. and yet.
HOUGH I NEED a fic with TOA Apollo (god of truth, prophecy, medicine, hunting) having a stint as a Private Investigator in a very overdramatic, eccentrically “him” way with Meg McCaffery as his partner (and muscle. And person with connections to the Triumvirate’s whole crime deal) being assigned stuff by the police being rude and nasty who clearly just want him to incriminate someone specific / close the case / cover up their shady stuff, so he goofs around, casually breaks reality and mocks old detective shows and Film Noir stuff to mess with them and generally waste their time and money BUT comes to the actual conclusion with incredible detail and accuracy so that they can’t COMPLAIN or argue against him AND THEN is very purposefully empathetic, gentle and efficient with cases for other people who are looking for and need help (in a very Columbo way. ACTUALLY OML INSTEAD OF REFERENCING HIS WIFE APOLLO CONSTANTLY REFERS TO HIS HUSBAND HYACINTHUS AND IT’S VERY UNCLEAR WHETHER HE’S ALIVE OR NOT (TOA paradox of Hyacinthus tuxedo)!)
it works really well! He would:
have good knowledge of analysing a crime scene bc medicine,
find people and put himself in suspects’ shoes bc hunting,
interrogate very very easily bc truth (again mostly he just messes with the actual culprit),
have hunches about where they might be bc prophecy,
be dramatic enough to loudly announce twists,
knows plenty of interesting people to “know a guy” (other gods, his children old and young, exes),
be beautiful enough and slutty enough (with love) to sustain a romantic subplot / inevitable tension (divorced) with “guys he knows” that he must dramatically call in despite their “complicated past” because he has “no other choice”. I could go on.
and Meg constantly resisting his dramatics and as the plot convenient way to resolve any emotional drama with Apollo (“but Meg, what if he hates me!” “Shut up. Do it.” “Okay! 😊”) and stop him going off on tangents if he drifts TOO far. It’s great!
I was re-watching episode 4, and just look at Gihun's reaction when the first teams lost in a six legs game
It looks like he was trembling 😭
Every time I see a post about the autism coding in Supernatural and Deans not mentioned I scream.
There is something so frustrating about autism traits being overlooked in characters because there not the 'typical' traits.
And I don't even mean that people overlook it on purpose. I just think that Cas's type of autism is so much more 'oh, it's autism'. Even nuerotypical viewers probably noticed it. However, Dean's autism coding is noticable but it also has a layer of masking and fake ultra masculinity. (Anyone ever notice how Sam is actually the one who's more traditionally masculine or is that just me?) It seems to me that because a character sometimes masks, people ignore the blatant traits.
Or they find him hot and no one can admit that the white guy that they find attractive can possibly be autistic.
I headcannon Alastor as autistic and sure I can explain all my reasons but this is more important:

Came for the story, stayed for the characters.

I love this moment so much. TFW coming in with the steel chair:
WHAT A WAY TO TALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then you have Bal acting just like the "frat bro" Dean later accuses him of being with this, denigrating Dean as "lesser" than he and Cas.
This was like... the second hottest thing Cas ever did.
