Happy aromantic visibility day!! Love this aroace king
I found a new thing that absolutely gets on my nerves.
I was scrolling through the Alastor Aroace tag as you do and I keep seeing people say things like, 'if he's Aroace then why so fruity' or 'how can he be Aroace if he acts like this' referencing to the fact that he is eccentric and silly.
All I can think is, um, why is that important, like at all? I was already annoyed by the fact that people just say someone is gay simply because they act a certain way, that is both offensive to gay people and puts people in boxes, but now it's grown to be more than a frustration.
I mean, do people not see how freaking offensive that is? And it seems as if it's genuine sometimes and even if it's not it's not a funny joke.
What do you mean you don't think he can't be Aroace cause he kicks his feet and drops his wrist? That has nothing to do with sexual or romantic orientation! It's so... It makes me feel like him being Aroace is just a joke to them. That it's more of a silly note the author made than real representation.
Do these people not realize we can see things and that we exist? That, maybe, not every character you find fun and attractive is a gay man?
I just saw a Tiktok where it's like, 'I think he wants a man,' to that one scene of kicking his feet and it pissed me off.
Anyways, I just needed to say that.
Anahahahah I love them
It’s always either or
Don't trust strangers
Don't eat meat
Kill people
Don't give strangers your ID and credit card info
Don't trust friends
Obey Odysseus
Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves (AKA. "kill people")
Don't trust a stranger godess & eat meat
If your great grandpa offers you drugs, just go with it
Men are pigs (haha I love Circe so much our girl has a sense of humor)
Other ways of persuasion can save you, including: seduction, sympathy
Don't listen to dead people
Listen to dead people
If a woman claims to be your wife but has a tail, funny ears and a dolphin who's supposed to be your daughter (you don't have a daughter) she's not your wife
Sirens are legitimate food (meat though?)
Do what it takes to survive
Dangerous creatures aim for the tourches
Don't trust friends (fr they are a bunch of losers)
Obey. Odysseus.
DONT! EAT! MEAT!
A big heart and a godess' help aren't enough to not lose a battle
Losing a battle is a win as long as you're not dead? (Jesus christ Telemachus has low standards)
Godesses can't die
Stockholm syndrom doesn't beat longing and PTSD
Not cheating on your wife pays (unlike sacrificing your uncle and never trying tequilla)
Don't trust Zeus
Don't play safe (AKA. "ruthlesness")
Don't think that you beat the final boss (there is another one)
Violence is always the answer (AKA. "ruthlesness" lol)
Murder is bad
Rape is bad
Dangerous creatures aim for the tourches (ohhhh they really are the same)
Obey Telemachus
Murder is good
Tiresias is always right
You still haven't beaten the final boss. There is another one. It's you. (Maybe the real final boss is the friends we made along the way 💔)
There is no hope and ruthlesness is mercy upon ourselves but idk Athena go pet a rabbit or something
If a man claims to be your husband and is genuianly offended when you ask him to move your bed (he carved it inside an olive tree, it can't be moved without chopping the roots down) he is indeed your husband
True love overcomes the ick of murder
And let's of course not forget these four that deserve their own list:
Don't open this bag
Open this bag
Don't open this bag under any circumstances
Open this bag (appereantly it's the most powerfull object in the universe)
"Vox will be the main antagonist of season two" okay. And Angel Dust will simply teach Alastor the fine arts of "flirting" and "leading people on". This is how they orchestrate Vox's downfall.
THIS IS SO FUNNY THOUGH this is why I love this comic so much
I love the idea of just. taking advantage of vox's obsession with alastor to the hotel crew's advantage (did any of them hear ANY part of stayed gone? I mean there's a radio in the main room so they had to have at least heard alastor's part if not vox's), I find it incredibly funny if like one way or another they find out that vox tried to ask alastor OUT and their first solution is to use alastor to their advantage and alastor begrudgingly agrees (after recovering from the shock of the revelation which went something like "what")
alastor showing up, trying to take vox out to dinner, hating every second of it, and vox mentally thinks
HAH! After all these years you come crawling back to me. After you rejected being with me, after you lost your opportunity to share greatness with me, how could you possibly think I'd agree to this?
"So… will you… *sigh* join…. me……. for dinner?" he says with an exasperated look.
As if! "Yes!" FUCK!
alastor sucks at doing what angel taught him (and refuses to even do everything he tried to teach him. because no. absolutely not.) but it works anyways. because it's vox.
whatever losses the vees suffer from because of this, velvette scolds vox for and he goes on about how much he was tricked and when she finds out it's just because alastor took him out to dinner she bursts out laughing
I love that theory thing where Apollo mostly acts the way he does, because he knows not being taken seriously is way safer then people knowing and remembering he is not only the only god with a connection to prophecy, he also regained godhood without any help, has a strong connection to mortals, is actually incredibly intelligent thanks to his domain of knowledge, and the fact that like he beat python as a mortal did I mention he hung over chaos?? I’m never dropping that guys he fucking hung over chaos
Also like he has humility????? Created camp half blood technically maybe???? And is the only god who has been turned completely mortal like. In general.
He’s actually really smart and scarily powerful cause the arts are already divine and that’s also his thing (that’s just a small tidbit of mine I like thinking about) but acting like he isn’t (and sometimes just being unwise cause his domain’s intellectuality not wisdom that’s Athena’s thing) is just better to do strategically. If your opponent thinks your incompetent they won’t treat as an equal which works in your favor, especially when you’re just well better than them.
In Marinette's eyes, the two cats might appear to overlap.

CAS: Sam, may I ask you a question? SAM: Hah! You just did! CAS: *exasperated* Can I ask you another question? SAM: Well, technically you--*sees the murder on Cas's face* — Yeah, go ahead. What's up?
Real dialogue from 9x11, of Cas trying to have an important conversation with Sam and encourage him to talk to his living family. Reminding him that family chooses each other even when the chips are down.
Annoying Sam coming in with the steel chair tho
In the scene that follows Cas is like, "Nothing is worth your life" and "isn't it amazing I've developed empathy now" blahblahblah.
But he still wants to kill Sam sometimes. Both can co-exist.
