So you’ve heard this probably a million times
“If you starve your metabolism will slow down and you’ll gain weight!”
Well…
that’s partially true. You won’t gain weight, but you’ll stop losing weight. And noone wants that.
So here I have advice on how to keep your metabolism on it’s toes:
Eat a different calorie intake everyday
you can plan an intake for the week, but eat differenty every day. FX: you plan to eat 3500 calories a week, and instead of eating 500 every day, eat 600 on monday, 400 on tuesday, 1000 on wednsday, fast on thursday, 500 on friday, 700 on saturday and 300 on sunday.
Exercise and bulid muscle
Muscle burns fat by just existing, so it’s important to eat some protein to keep it. Exercising will burn calories, making it easier and faster to lose weight, and it will also boost your metabolism.
Eat supplements
Eat fiber supplements, protein, vitamins etc. They usually have no calories or very few of them, and they will help you a lot.
When you’ll want to recover, slowly come back to a normal intake.
💕stay safe babes💕
ok universe, i’m ready to feel good things. make me feel good things.
reblog if you think that curves are beautiful
just not on you
and if you support body positivity and healthy eating
just not for you
and if you love your curvy friends so much
but you just can’t seem to love yourself
I have a fear in the back of my head.
If I lose the weight, and I reach my goals, will my boyfriend compliment me more?
Will he think I'm better looking than I am now?
What if he's lied this whole time, "You're beautiful just the way you are."
How far would I go to keep hearing his praise.. the skinnier the more compliments?
I fucking hate myself so much. I'm such a fatass, I wish I could honestly die so I wouldn't have to do anything anymore. What's the point.
Friends: You really need to stop doing this to yourself.
Me: *unable to control my mental health*
your problem areas won’t be the first to shed that weight, it will be either your face, your hands, your ankles etc
when you lose weight, you realize that you and shrek are very much alike, we have layers (of fat). you will not instantly lose weight on your belly, hips, thighs, arms, where ever it is that you’re trying to specifically lose weight from, you will lose weight all over, this is why it’s hard for us to notice weight loss
the last place you gained fat on is the first to lose that fat off, the first place you gained fat on will be the hardest to lose that fat off
don’t listen to the scale, those few pounds that never seem to leave or you have gained are probably muscle growth, get yourself measuring tape to calculate your weight loss
you see yourself every day, be aware that it’ll be hard for you to notice any difference, but trust me, everyone around you is seeing it happen
weight loss takes time, don’t give up so quick
