knuckles redesigns and mischaracterisation

a lot of knuckles redesigns add his traditional markings to Knuckles but I actually find that its a cool detail that he doesn't have them (even if originally it was unintentional). knuckles although he upholds traditions from his ancestors such as protecting the master emerald, he doesn't know that much about them. This is further explored in the IDW 30th anniversary knuckles comic, and throughout the archie comics. I think its an interesting detail that he doesn't have his ancestors markings, because it represents the disconnect he has with them, because he doesn't KNOW THEM.

in a lot of the canon, he never met them and therefore never got to learn how to do it properly. in the sonic 2 live action movie, you can see him with the tradition markings with his tribe, but when he looses them and grows up he forgets how to do it and you never see it again. it represents his loss.

thats the autitsic rant for today. i do love the redesigns because i do love seeing him with them. hes so cool

why would i want AI to do all the things i already do for fun for me? whats the point in that? i do it because i find it fun, i never find myself wishing "wow i sure do wish i could have a robot here to paint my patches and diy my shit for me" like no, i do that because i want to. i wish to paint with my and only my hands alone, i dont want others to do it for me so i can sit back and watch.

a small diy recommendation from annoying anarcho!

hey! are you tired of mixing acrylic paint with random shit to paint your patches? interested in a paint thats a little bit too opaque and probably needs to be watered down? (thus giving you a bit more to work with!)

then heres an idea!: wall paint samples.

ive been using $5 wall paint sample tubs since i started making patches, and holy SHIT it works super well! since the paint is so opaque you dont tend to need very much, and because its meant for walls its overly strong and water resistant. the small tubs also give you plenty considering how little you tend to need!

"annoying anarcho! what about the fumes!" idk but it works great. wear a mask or something while you paint if you're really worried.

only con is that you need to be confident in your abilities! if you mispaint you need to either go over it in a different colour or wipe it away with water asap, otherwise shits great! if you want colours that arent different varieties of white then mix it with acrylic, hypocritical of me to suggest i know, but it works a charm.

or, if you dont like paint then household bleach can be pretty decent! its permanent, has a cool looking colour +effect and is generally in most households, just make sure your fabric works with it and do some test strips!

(wear protection when handling chemicals!!)

i cant explain it but the biohazard symbol has a grip on my brain like no other. this is me this symbol is me. im a biohazard im going to fucking explode. i feel the need to paint this symbol or other associated symbols on everything i create.

if the reblog was meant with hate, then to answer the final tag, i know about punk historylol, i got into the history of punk and a bunch of its subcultures before even listening to the music because i fixated the biggest fixation i could on it for like a few weeks and learnt too much. i love wikipedia! my favourite community resource.

anyways i love learning about punk history and the subculture as a whole its so awesome.

like, i get my entire brand is being involved in the punk scene, but outside of this account i dont even call myself a punk, yet somehow im more involved in the subculture than some of these leeches are.

Hey saying, even as a joke, that you're going to 'forcefem' a transmasculine person isn't funny or acceptable. You're literally saying that you're going to forcefully detransition him.
