Re-watching Poldark season 1 and I can’t believe Ross blamed Demelza for what Francis did to him and his company. What, so because he didn’t approve of Verity’s lover boy, he got to ruin two families, Ross’ business and possibly his marriage, but it’s Demelza’s fault for being a supportive friend? Excuse you, but no. If Francis thinks his “betrayed” feelings are more important than people’s literal lives and means of supporting themselves, then he’s an asshole and he can go die in a ditch.

Also, Ross is a jerk to Demelza, like, 87% of the time.

Chocolate Coated Caramels

If you are looking for a meaningful , delicious gift for someone close to your heart, this is the best choice !

Ingredients :

Soft caramels - 480g  [ my own recipe will be published separately ; but caramels can be purchased too , not only made at home ]

White chocolate - 300g ( it depends on the type of chocolate, in their melted state, some are runnier , some are thicker . If it is runnier, you will need less chocolate. )

Decorating:

Caramel flakes

Sugar paste

Coconut

Decorating is completely optional.

Instructions :

Boil some water in a pot on medium-low heat and put the bowl with the chocolate on top of it. Keep stirring until all the chocolate melted.

Add the caramels one by one into the chocolate , then use two forks to pick them up , allowing the extra chocolate to drip down the fork’s tines. Place them on wax paper.

Decorate them how you like. I kept mine very simple.

Set them aside to harden and cool , if necessary , refrigerate them.

Cut off the edges in order to give them a better shape.

And there you have it ! The easiest and most delicious treat you could have ever made at home!

With some changes to techniques, a careful selection of kitchen tools, and tips from fellow bakers, the joy of baking can live on.

I luckily haven't had to deal with much chronic pain or hand pain yet, especially with regards to baking (crochet is another story). That said, these look like some pretty solid tips! There's also some in the comments section.
