Art trade with mushroomaaaart on Instagram, ft their OC, Miko!

I'm very happy with the background on this one. I installed the newest CSP update last night, which FINALLY added chromatic aberration and a variety of other useful features, and it really helped with this. Miko looks pretty cute here too. I think this looks kind of like a Warrior Cats book cover. Lol

I'm still experimenting with my art style, but I think I'm getting closer to something I like. Right now I'm trying to focus on lineart because I feel like my lines are pretty boring and I want to make my digital art look a bit more like the pen sketches I like to do. I didn't try very much to do that in this drawing, but I probably will in the future.

This one took me 6 hours and 22 minutes, the second longest time of all the art trades I've done this year. I don't really know why it took that long. I guess I was just really slow at it.

It was an interesting challenge because I rarely work with really brightly coloured characters, so I had a bit of an experience trying to find a way to make it look a little less intense on the eyes.

A halfbody of a new design I'm developing for Cosi (my sona), an icon thing for an OC I never use named Ono, a redesign of a character I first made in 2019, and a drawing of a new OC named Willow (I can't remember whether I posted their ref here lol)
