BEHOLD : my first creation in MagicaVoxel!

I know i disappeared for 50 years but im back and will post some more cute ghosts. But for now, have this 3d model of a frog. I always wanted to learn 3d modeling but it seemed so chalenging :\

But recently i found out about voxels.

I love pixel art. I loke 3d. Modeling seems intuitive. Worth a try!

I want to post more pictures from my project but this time it`s less of a ghost and more of a dragon. Someone asked me already how i made these and i wanted to post it here too in case other people are also interested:

I used Krita and just drew them on a new layer on top of photos. That way it`s easier to lower the opasity/see what to erase/edit them/. Also i didn`t use pure white for my ghosts. Instead i colorpicked the lightest color from the photo (or in this case the darkest color of the mountains) and used that. That way they feel more like they are a part of the picture :)

Something like "Abandons" or "Fall-aparters" in Ukrainian. I don't know if there is a word for that in English but it comes from word "розвалюватись" - to fall apart/break down. Hope this helps :)

Ive been soooo obsessed with ispods lately. I loved them for as long as i remember and I already knew people kept them as pets but only recently concidered keeping them myself. The last straw was playing this game called Bugaboo where you take care of little bugs in a tamagochi and the firt pet is an isopod and i was like: thats it. I cant wait any longer. Im getting pet isopds.Ive already ordered a terrarium for them and have been doing tons of research on how to take care of them I JUST CAN`T WAIT.

Also there is like a WHOLE community of people who breed them and select different morphs (wouldnt be able to afford any of the rare onse though lol) it`s so fascinating!

This is something of a ref sheet i made for my OC Katta who`s kind of a main character from my story. It`s follow-up to that WIP i posted earlier. I was planning on coloring it on a "multiply" layer but for now i might as well post it as it is.

Thinking about putting this as my profile picture. But i already have my knife crow + changed my pfp and name like 50 times already because im indecisive : |

Every day is Halloween day!

Sorry for dissapearing from tumblr for 50 years. So much Happened. I lost my phone, I had finals, I got a new phone and like 100 other things. But now im back! With this pumpkin. Yeah i know halloween has passed but i had such an urge to draw a jack`o lantern. Also this was my first time doing a more painterly look over the sketch in digital art.

I made this character design for a "texture" themed assignment and I really like how the colors turned out (though I'm still not sure about the background).

Also this was my first time using blending modes in krita. No idea why it took me so long to get to it, but it's seriously life changing

currently working on a character from one of my fantasy stories. Wasn`t really sure how to draw folds in the fabic since i dont draw characters like this very often (the cure for this is probably just more practice:). Still, any criticism is welcome. Also i`m trying out this technique i saw, with drawin everything in grayscale and then adding color with overlay or multiply

What bug should i draw next? I already have some Oak treehoppers in mind.

This was a bit of a very quick drawing and i didn`t have time to really perfect it, but i just HAD to put some time aside to draw these cool insects.

The wings were a bit of an experiment because i wanted to capture the cool stripes some of these guys have. I kinda like how this turned out but i will have to touch it up a bit if i ever turn it into a sticker

No bug content for today so have a cute frog instead

I mostly post my drawings here but i really wanted to share this Honey Jar label i made for a college assignment a few years back. My teacher didnt really like it for some reason but im actually very happy with how it turned out + i really love all the bees and bumblebees so this was a blast to make ^^

I saw this post long ago and barely found it now. This might be waaaay too specific and rambly but i had this story idea of a scientist finding himself in some kind of alternate universe from which all the myths and stories seaped into ours (mermaids, unicorns etc). And basically this post gave me a story-beat idea where this scientist sees someone fishing out a coelacanth and is like :

OMG ITS A LONG EXTINCT MYTHICAL RARE COELACANTH! YOU CANT EAT IT!!!

And the amphibian sea people are like: wdym "rare"? 🤨We eat these fukers like...everyday. They`re super invasive...

i have a lot of feelings and thoughts about coelacanths today
