MARVEL PROMPT TIME :D
Prompt: Loki has been an avenger for a few months now, became friends with Clint (He settled their differences and argued that everyone on the avengers got a second chance, so Loki himself should too.), and is making progress making amends with Thor. (Thor has already forgiven Loki, but allows Loki to sort out his feelings and helps him repair damages done.)
One thing about Loki, however, is that he doesn't ever speak up when he needs something he deems a weakness. That being affection, medical attention, or help with anything that confuses him. He seeks nothing out for affection, believing he doesn't deserve it and it makes him weak, he patches himself up after every battle, and if anything confuses him he seeks the knowledge by himself. He just... doesn't understand how to ask for any of it.
One thing that Loki wanted most nowadays was simple, hugs. Loki loves hugs, to be held and feel safe. But more than that, Loki loves to be carried. To be picked up and carried around, held protectively in the person's arms. He missed feeling safe, feeling wanted, although he didn't know how to approach the topic with anyone. So he remained silent about it.
That was until Hulk had picked him up after a battle, when Loki had fractured his knee and was unable to walk. He froze in place with any protests he was about to speak dying in a instant. All the Avengers were immediately concerned, then watched in surprise as Loki calmed down and snuggled up to Hulk. Purring and smiling. Almost in a drunk state, slowly drifting to sleep.
Thor later explains why Loki acted the way he did, throwing in Loki's struggle with being open about what he needs. The Avengers understood everything and unanimously decided to help Loki, by giving him hugs when they could. From Natasha giving Loki a hug from behind, Tony pulling him to cuddle on the couch, to Clint snatching Loki up and carrying him around the tower, no one let Loki feel unsafe or unloved within their home. Cause Loki was family now too.
Fanfic writers please make this a thing!!!!
So cute!
I love comic Clint
This is just perfection, nothing else to say
How about Bodyguard AU and Mutual Pining with Ironhawk? :)
“I don’t need a bodyguard,” Tony says for the millionth time.
“Yes you fuckin’ do,” Clint says, also for the millionth time. He crosses his arms and glares at Tony. “People want to kill you, and Pepper needs that not to happen. I happen to agree with her.”
“Well, then I need a different bodyguard!” Tony says, pouting. “Why can’t I have Happy back?”
“You asked for a new bodyguard when Happy tackled you and broke your old couch,” Clint says. Hearing that Tony wants a new bodyguard hurts a little, if he’s honest. He thought they were getting along pretty well. Maybe Tony realized that Clint has a massive, could-be-seen-from-space crush on him?
“I liked that couch,” Tony says, pouting harder. “Do I have my new one yet?”
“It arrived yesterday,” Clint says patiently, well used to how Tony seemingly switches tracks out of nowhere. “You said it was squishy enough and that you liked it.”
Tony shrugs. “Sure. I trust you. But I still want a new bodyguard.”
“Could you at least tell me why?” Clint asks. “If there’s somethin’ I’ve done, Tones, just tell me.”
Tony shakes his head, his lips a thin line on his face. “It’s just…” He trails off, then waves a hand at Clint. “All of you. Your whole cornfed, aw shucks, good guy thing.”
“You don’t like that I’m a good guy?” Clint asks. “I don’t understand.”
Tony sighs. “It’s unethical to want to fuck your bodyguard. It’s even worse when you want to keep him around afterwards for snuggles.”
Clint blinks. “I quit,” he says suddenly. “I quit so hard.”
Now it’s Tony’s turn to blink. “You… what?”
“I have a crush on you that could be seen from space,” Clint says. “If it’s unethical to want to fuck your bodyguard, then it’s definitely unethical to want to fuck your boss.”
A slow smile spreads across Tony’s face as he wraps a hand in Clint’s tie. “I accept your resignation,” he murmurs, pulling Clint down into a kiss.
Hello everyone!
This post is gonna be different from the usual marvel prompts, and questions, I post. This time I want to give my perspective and opinion on my favorite character, Loki. He is a fascinating character, full of complexities and fundamentally 'human' in a way.
I wanted to share my thoughts, feelings, and ideas here to basically have a place to discuss different characters and how they are meaningful to us.
Without further ado...
Loki is a character that gives off so many emotions when you first see him, and varies on when you see him and what media: evil and vengeful in EMH, Cocky yet willing to change in AA, Calculating and then sporadic in the MCU. Comic Loki? A whole lot of character development that I don't even know where to start.
Admittedly I have had the chance to read much of the comics sides a few, and haven't watch all of AA or EMH, but I did research for this. Also I just watched a lot of stuff on YouTube of Loki from all sides.
Now when it comes to his character, you can't exactly put down a few words to describe him. Loki is a character that feels like a person, complex and confusing. Trying to simplify Loki is unintentionally blocking out the other aspects of him.
Loki is a character that has been abused and abandoned from basically the beginning of his life. Left to die by his biological father, taken in by a new family and then raised to hate his kind essentially, then told later that he was going to be a bargaining chip, fighting his brother as a form of lashing out, being done enough with all of it to try and end his life, to being found and potentially tortured by Thanos.
That alone comes from the MCU, but a majority of that still happens in the other timelines. It's explained through hints and out right underlined that Loki was neglected emotionally and physically by his father, put into Thor's shadow, and put down for being different in the ways of Asgard- using magic rather than tactical fighting.
Loki grows envious and resentful because of this. It makes things worse when it becomes clear that Loki was also put through a lot of pain. Like having his mouth sewn shut and a mythical snake dripping venom on to you. What Thanos probably did...
To me, Loki is a traumatized person. From day one he was abandoned and left to die, only to be taken in and strip of any agency on who he would be. Everyone, including Thor, either pushed the villainous label onto Loki or harassed him for not being a true warrior.
Loki has been shoved in the back, pushed away, and told he isn't as great or ever will be as Thor. Leaving him probably lonely, hurt, angry, and envious: 'What does Thor have, that I don't?'
Loki's complexities come in when you further understand that he does want to be the hero, he wants to do good- he just doesn't understand how. He is constantly tempted by mischief that it poses an obstacle to Loki making the decision to pick an outcome. This is added on to the fact that eventually he gives up and choice at all, taking up the villain roll as the only choice he perceived he had left.
When you're constantly told something, eventually you'll think it's true. Loki gives up and lets the pain swallow him into a world of consistent anger and envy.
So what do I feel about Loki? He is a person repeatedly hurt by others, left behind, and is indifferent to or active to end his life.
But he does get a chance to change. Slowly as he starts to heal he becomes more open, playful, caring. He even finds himself having a better relationship with Thor, having his family back. He even befriends and joins the avengers. In one comic he surprised Clint be being his valentine.
I love Loki, as a character and his story. No matter what media you choose, Loki's story has the power to move you. He is the most human character I've seen that rivals Tony.
Loki helps me too, by being a character who I can relate to with painful memories of my own. Feelings of abandonment and envy of others, not understanding why I was treated differently compared to others.
I don't feel comfortable sharing much of my past here, but just Know that my experiences aren't that intense as Loki's.
To conclude this post: Loki is fascinating in the fact that he contains the element of being a human character (despite being alien), being shown in the story his anger, pain, despair, the fear he can feel, his loneliness. We can feel the change within Loki overtime as well: feeling how happy he is, how much safer he feels, and how much vulnerability he is able to allow himself now.
Loki is my all time favorite mischief maker, god of chaos, and just my favorite character I love to watch create a hilarious mess.
MARVEL PROMPT!
Prompt:
Tony is excited for pride month. He loves to go join the parades that happen in New York and other places when possible, wearing his sexuality with pride- both to show homophobes and his dad that they can fuck off. But he didn't know that he find out that Steve is bisexual as well. Tony didn't think he'd have a chance with Steve at all, and still doesn't because of insecurities.
Then Clint, a chaotic pansexual that he lovingly is, comes to Tony's rescue! He offers to help Tony by being a wing man, making Rogers jealous, or even just telling Steve about Tony's feelings for him. Tony says no to everything, just stuck in believing no one could want him. Clint then says: "Aww, Tony nooooo. I want you! Let's go on a date butterfly!"
Tony already hates the nickname. He does say yes though, startled when Clint asked that he didn't think when he spoke. Now the birdbrain had Tony in his grip, he just decided to see the inevitable. It doesn't come. Tony is surprised that Clint isn't turned off by him, isn't irritated by anything he does. Clint just smiles and says he's cute. Tony doesn't know what to do with these overwhelming positive feelings.
Steve is frustratedly jealous and pissed off. Watching Clint dating Tony was agony, see them cuddling, catching them kissing, even holding hands was torture! The worst thing about it? He didn't know who he was jealous over!
When the Avengers go to a bar for dinner and drinks, Clint and Tony are harassed by two dumbasses. One of the buzzed assholes is bold enough to try and grope Clint in the bathroom, when Steve walked in. To say the guy is decked in the face rough is a disservice description to how bad Steve actually hit the guy.
Clint is a bit startled, first by the guy groping him then Steve RKOing the dude to the floor. Steve takes Clint back to their table and basically guard dogs both him and Tony for the rest of their dinner. Tony gets the story from Clint later.
Steve does not tolerate anyone messing with his lov- teammates! Teammates, yes the team... The team...
In the end the three end up together after Steve gets the courage to leave a rose with a note one both Clint and Tony's bedroom doors.
What are your three genders? Are they fluid/flux/fluix in anyway or are you always all of them at once?
Hello! Thank you for asking, I identify as male, female, and nonbinary. I use they/them pronouns and I am all of them at once. I don't flux between the genders.
Marvel Prompt~♡
For got to add tags 😅
Has anyone, who is lesbian, figure out their sexuallity by unconsciously trying to make other girls jealous of your so called ‘crush’? Because I remember clear as day my first time ‘falling’ for a guy only to brag trying to get others jealous of him catching my attention. Just me or wut?
I'm out, I'm proud, and adore Marvel Stuff! They/Them pronouns! Ask me anything, I don't mind!
