I Like To Think That Chuuya Understands Why Dazai Left And Wasn't All That Mad About It At First.

Ok unpopular opinion BUT

I'd rather see Loop look like the wonderful star they are and find a new party/family to call their own post-game.

Loop still looking like a star is, admittedly, mostly because I can't imagine Loop as anything else. Loops the star! My lil star! But also I think Loop deserves to love who they are. Who they are is a star. And I think if they became a human, no matter what they did, they would look into the mirror and staring back at them would not be Loop, but Siffrin. I want them to look at themselves and at least go 'this looks like me. No one else but me.' Maybe in the future they change, but not until they can control the change themselves. Not until Loop learns who they are. Loop has been forcibly changed so much, taken apart and reformed to match someone else's desires or needs or wants, and I think they deserve to shape themselves. To be able to one day look in the mirror and see them. Whoever that may be.

I also want Loop to choose their life. That's kinda why I think Loop should be able to find and make a new family. I feel like if Loop were to acclimate themselves with the original party, they would always, to an extent, feel like they're forcing themselves into a place they don't belong in. Always just there. Always that extra thing Siffrin brought in. Always the poser. The 'fake' Siffrin. Even if they don't know, even if they still love Loop for Loop, that's how it would always feel to them. Because Loop will always feel like they're surrounded by strange and slightly different copies of their family.

I think if they were able to wander on their own, find their own family, I think that the comparison would be able to stop one day, or at least not hurt as much anymore. Loop won't be constantly surrounded by a reminder of what they lost and what could've been, they'll be constantly surrounded by the fact that despite everything, they are still loved. They are still loved as Loop, as their own person with their own emotions and heart and reactions. They won't feel the scrutinizing stares of people who keep trying to figure out why Loop seems so familiar and different at the same time. They can just be Loop. They can relearn love and open up on their own terms and become something more than the Universes designated failure and helper for Siffrin.

And maybe one day, after Loop changes, now feels like their own person, and is surrounded by their own family, one who knows of their story and past, one who loves so warmly and gently it let's the the wounds of being someone else fade, they'll run into Siffrin again. Yet this time, there is no lingering animosity, there is no pain in feeling like an accessory to them, a side character in what was supposed to be their story. Now, it's the nostalgia of seeing someone who survived hell with you. They can sit and talk together about their own families and travels and they get to just be two people in the Universe chatting happily. Loop sees the others come towards Siffrin and the sting of pain they used to feel seeing them is no longer there. Because Loop can still find their happy ending. Loop can still be loved. And Loop knows that now.

I just want Loop to be loved and feel it and to be able to accept that love fully instead of having the hanging shadows of their past as Siffrin taunt them.

The amount of people who can casually drink soda baffles me as someone who absolutely cannot handle it. Everyone just drinks these for fun????????????? It's not the most miserable sensation on earth for the average person??? I really like spice so you'd think it'd go hand in hand, but no

Cult of the Lamb - Head Trauma

Been influenced quite a bit with how comics here on tumblr are formatted, so I've been experimenting lately with how I possibly want to upload sketches and stuff in the future--these little comics were mostly experiments on how high or low effort I would like to go.

In other news, I've finished this game twice now. I'm officially a follower and I've got ideas spinning in my head. This bodes poorly for me.

Throwback to when I thought that everyone had to have romantic feelings and because of that I got into romance books and series to learn the definition of romantic attraction because I thought that if I knew what it was I would feel it like I was supposed too

Atsushi simply nodded, tugging lightly at the restraints to test their give. He could have easily ripped through them, but Ryuu knew that he liked the resistance and needed the reminder. He tended to have trouble keeping his hands off of Ryuu, and though Ryuu preened at being so irresistible, sometimes he really did like his dessert to sit quietly.

Complicated and Beautiful

Another SKK short drabble i wrote that is inspired by the song "Forth of July" by Sufjan Stevens.

Dazai could feel the grass tickling the back of his neck as the bitter cold of the summer night bite at his exposed skin. Laying in the grass for a moment of peace. The quiet city noises were calming after a day of high adrenaline and violent sights. 

Eyes closed, the darkness was overwhelming. He never had liked the darkness, it left his mind to wander to dangerous places. The nights were the worst, alone in bed he had no way to escape from those dangerous thoughts. Plagued by the most inconceivable thoughts that his tainted mind could conjure. 

That is why he refused to close his eyes, and instead looked up at his partner who sat at his side. The softest breeze rustled the loose strands of ginger hair while his eyes gazed upon the city. Chuuya had hugged his knees to his chest while his breathing was rhythmic, calming Dazai as he matched their breathing patterns. 

“Why us?” 

Chuuya nearly missed it, it was the softest whisper and the wind nearly stole those words.

“What do you mean, ‘Why us?”

“Why do we have to be such monsters?”

“What exactly makes you think you're a monster?”

“I am not Human, Chuuya. I don't feel empathy, or remorse, or any emotion that a normal human should feel-” Dazai sat up, he was now able to look into Chuuya’s eyes. The lights of the city reflected in them perfectly. He couldn't look away. 

“Yes you do” Chuuya leaned over, gently cupping dazai’s cheek with his gloved hand. “You feel just as much as anyone else, you just don't understand your own feelings but they are there” 

“No… They’re not-”

“Yes. They are.” 

Chuuya’s voice was firm. Bringing Dazai closer, he rested Dazai’s head on his chest. “You feel anger whenever you see someone you love hurt, you feel sadness whenever you think you caused something, you feel happiness in moments like this. Your emotions are as beautiful as they are complicated” 

Complicated and Beautiful. 

“Don't think for a moment that your faults make you any less Human” and with that, Chuuya gives a soft kiss upon the top of Dazai's head as Dazai listens to the strong and steady heartbeat of his partner.
