guys guys this might sound crazy but maybe we don't name our Chuuya Nakahara lovechild ocs after the real life Chuuya Nakahara's son who died of tuberculosis at 20 months old. maybe we consider being respectful to a man who never fully recovered from his son's death and had a nervous breakdown because of it. I know the whole point of BSD is mixing real life authors and stories into an anime but i don't want to see the name of a dead toddler reused for your Soukoku lovechild OCS on my feed, or anywhere at all. that's extremely disrespectful and just plain insensitive in my opinion. the sufferings of someone who actually lived in real life did not happen in any way for you to used to make your OCS quirky or more connected to Chuuya Nakahara. <3

I have issues with regular work I think I'd actually drop dead if I had to do everything she did. Justice for Jaehee man. Jumin works her to the bone TAT

The amount of people who can casually drink soda baffles me as someone who absolutely cannot handle it. Everyone just drinks these for fun????????????? It's not the most miserable sensation on earth for the average person??? I really like spice so you'd think it'd go hand in hand, but no
I am handing you this 30 second song I wrote and sang
okay so twice recently i've seen random people in the wild like "yeah people don't eat rice around here." so i think we need to have a poll on rice consumption
if you're a no-ricer maybe say where you're from/other explanation because i would like to know................................
If your story has different points of view, is it annoying to switch between them in a single chapter? Thank you!
I do that all the time, so I hope not! lol
seriously, though - as long as the switches are clear and don’t cause confusion you should be fine. I find it helps to use the horizonal rule in between viewpoints to show the flip in perspective.
Note: don’t use stylistic breaks between viewpoints (or scenes) like a series of asterisks or tildes etc. If someone is using a screen reader, it will read out each symbol that you use. Also using indicators like “Character A’s POV” tend to break up the story and take people out the narrative. Or at least they do for me.
Fun (not really) Fact: Atsushi being kicked is made WORSE by the fact that he was still a minor by Japanese law. Up until 2022, the legal age of adulthood in Japan was 20, not 18. From what I know, the first chapter or bsd was written in around 2012. MEANING Atsushi wouldn't have aged out for another 2 years AND that the Headmaster really did set him up for death or at the very least an equally shitty situation. Giving him nothing about the real world, the whole bounty situation that you can't tell me that the headmaster didn't know about, AND making it so that if not for the ADA finding him, Atsushi probably would've been sent to the police to head back to another orphanage or foster home that would probably abuse him too because of the tiger when he was found IF he hadn't starved to death by then.
I propose all schools go back to teaching their students cursive.
Why?
BECAUSE I WRITE IN CURSIVE AND NO ONE CAN READ MY FUCKING HANDWRITING BECAUSE NO ONE TAUGHT THEM CURSIVE
I SPEND FOREVER MAKING IT LEGIBLE AND NOW YOU CANT READ IT NOT BECAUSE ITS MESSY BUT BECAUSE YOU CANT BOTHER TO TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO READ FUCKING CURSIVE
