A print I made tonight at @centre3_ as part of their @sitelinescentre3 Sitelines program. Traced from a photo onto acrylic plate. Then inked and then pressed on to paper. Interesting process. Thanks to Gabe for his instruction and help. I'm pleased with the results of this first attempt. Very interesting morning touring the Scottish Rite Masonic Temple facility at King W and Queen S. Home to 8 of 30 area lodges. They held in open house today in celebration of the official Freemason's foundation 300 years ago, though their may be ties going back further. A lot of history. Very open and friendly bunch. A very big crowd in attendance at Becky Katz 10 years in wood exhibit at the Casino Artspace Gallery. It was the first time I had a chance to see some of her work. I knew she was well known and respected in the Hamilton Art community. Hmm. Got up late this morning and found out No Hot Water in the apartment. I saw a plumbing truck outside so figured it would be fixed shortly. Hours later still not avail. Called super and she had posted a notice downstairs this morning that the tank had a crack - not particularly helpful. No Hot Water today or tomorrow. So I guess it's sponge baths in the kitchen sink ( washing the sink before and after). So I may not be as April (or June) fresh as I normally would be. A fun afternoon with my favourite 4-legged nephew, Carl @sdit_carl and his daddy Jake @jake_and_carl @jake.maurice. Started with training and playing in Gage Park. Then McDonald's for dinner, then a trip to Wal-Mart where I bought him a small toy. He was so good. We worked on his distraction training and he really improved a lot in just 1 afternoon. Smart puppy - and so damn cute. They are a great team already. He's almost 4 months. (Well, daddy is a bit more than 4 months old. Lol) We tried on a hotdog costume while at Wal-Mart.
