"tomura," your teeth are gritted tight enough to feel your jaw ache, "you need to actually try walking."

instead, his arm slings around your shoulders tighter. he stumbles beside you, heavy footsteps make it clear he's more than just buzzed. you probably should've stopped him a couple drinks ago-- but he was having fun. and tomura had always told you that he could handle his alcohol.

that was a lie.

to be fair, dabi's not doing much better. he is atleast walking by himself; but he sways from side to side every so often and when he pauses to look back at you and tomura he stumbles on the balls of his feet. you think the only reason dabi is still upright is because he was given the sole responsibility to carry your heels back to the room-- drunk dabi was determined to see the task through.

tomura's nose finds your hair, his lips graze the shell of your ear when he speaks and he reeks of alcohol. "you smell good," he mumbles. his hand is heavy and all too light as it traces the curve of your hip along your dress.

"and you smell like you're plastered," you reply, grunting as you heave him over your shoulder into a better position. tomura hiccups in response-- seemingly unbothered by the action. his hand continues to travel along the slopes and curves of your figure, pressed tight due to his legs refusing to work.

"hey--" dabi turns back, his brows are knitted together into some petulant frown. your heels dangle by his middle and ring finger, and he uses them to point towards tomura in an accusing fashion. "can you wait until we're in the room before you start fondling our girlfriend?"

tomura huffs, the puff of air blowing past your ear and pushing some of your hair. "'m not fondling."

your eyes narrow as you continue forward, fixing dabi with a glare. tomura and yourself pass by him and dabi's eyes do not leave yours for a second. "don't antagonize him," your voice is low and strained with the weight of supporting tomura.

at this point, tomura's nice white dress shirt is loose-- the tie is unknotted and dangles against his chest. he stole a hairtie from your purse earlier and pulled his hair up, but some strands still hang in front of his eyes. dabi's halfway undressed as well-- the sleeves of the turtleneck are pushed up to his elbows and he's untucked from the slacks you picked out for him earlier.

and it was a simple PLF event. it was supposed to be.

the skin of your ass is suddenly warm-- dabi's hand is firm on the opposite cheek where you aren't carrying tomura. your cheeks flush-- but your embarassment is outweighed with mild irritation. before you can open your mouth to scold him, dabi's head dips next to yours. his breath is warm, and while both men smell heavily of alcohol, dabi has that lingering smoky scent that mixes a little too well.

"if he gets to touch you, so do i," he mumbles into your ear. there's an underlying command in his tone and it forces your mouth to stay shut.

whatever, you're thinking to yourself. whatever gets us to the room faster and in one piece.

with these two idiots, that statement proved harder than you truly thought it was. at least either of them won’t remember a thing in the morning.

"I think my pants shrunk in the dryer," Tomura's voice, thick with annoyance, floated from your shared bedroom to the living room.

"Let me take a look." Standing from the couch, you padded over to him, circling him like a bird to their prey, shirtless and struggling to button and zip his black jeans. "Are they tight anywhere?"

"They're tight everywhere," he sighed, fingers still on the front button as he gave up, his face tinged pink. "But mostly around my ass."

Your eyes raked over his form. His ribs, which used to be visible under his skin, were slowly disappearing under healthy fat and tissue. The same happened to his spine—you could no longer count the individual vertebrae, harsh hills and valleys now filled in. Lifting your hand, you ran your fingers down his back. They definitely didn't feel as prominent either.

"What the fuck are you doing," Tomura hissed, shivering at the sensation.

You smiled, a soft, almost sad sort of smile, one you reserved for remembering how far Tomura had come from when you first met him. What he had been through. "I think you've gained weight."

"Oh," his red eyes traced the softened planes of his stomach, your arms coming to wrap around his waist.

"It's a good thing, Tomura," you kissed his cheek. "We'll buy you new jeans tomorrow."

sero, who never dims your light—not for a second. he could be having the worst day of his life, but if you walk in excited and glowing about something, he’ll match your energy without missing a beat. your joy is his joy, always.

sero, who brags about you constantly to his friends. “that mission? all them, i was just there for decoration,” or, “you’re struggling with that? ask them, they’re seriously the beeessstttt at it!” he finds any excuse to talk you up, like it's just a fact everyone should already know.

sero, who learned to make tiny origami animals with his tape. he’s not even sure when it started—just a little trick that turned into something more. now you find frogs and cats and birds left on your nightstand, each with a scribbled note underneath: made this just for you ღ
