My Mario Movie Review

⚠️Spoilers ahead!⚠️

I accidentally spoiled myself a few plot points cause some people online decided to post them and throw all this new info in my face, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the film.

Anyways, here's my review of the Mario Movie so let's a go!

-Mario and Luigi were so wholesome together

-Bowser was amazing, I loved that he was evil just for the sake of being evil.

-BOWSER'S LOVE BALLAD ABSOLUTELY SLAPPED. I can see why the Koopalings got their names from musicians, my man Bowser can play a piano!

-Princess Peach's origin story was actually kinda cute! I love the idea of the Toads being her found family, the only question I have though is who are her parents?

-Bowser was a Bicon, enough said

-The blue koopa really became a blue shell and was never heard from again. I guess the blue shelled koopas are suicide bombers 💀

-I really wanted more Luigi screentime, but eh, it's enough for the first film I guess

-The Penguin King and DK also deserve more screentime, maybe we will see them in the sequal

-THE ORCHESTRAL MUSIC ABSOLUTELY SLAPPED, I NEED AN EXTENDED VERSION OF THAT SMW CASTLE THEME NOW

-Peach was one of my favorite characters in the film, she is so kind yet also badass.

-Peach choosing to marry Bowser for the sake of her kingdom and it's people was such a power move on her part

-I hated the fast pacing of the plot, but the movie scenes made up for it

-Overall, despite some criticisms I have, it's a really good movie, I rate it a 8.5/10

as an autistic person, I can confirm that I can see the HUD

Sonic writing prompts

I felt like coming up with Sonic prompts, so feel free to write something with these!

1.Amy and Knuckles bake cookies for everyone! Well they try to at least, shenanigans ensue and this results in the oven nearly catching on fire. But somehow they manage to get it done.

2.Sonic using math based pick up lines on Infinite. This results in Sonic winning the fight and Infinite's just floating there bluescreening. Bonus if next fight Infinite does the same towards Sonic and they turn it into some kind of game.

3.Eggman taking Sage to Disneyland along with Metal Sonic.

4.Metal Sonic trying to impress an oblivious Amy Rose while on a mission. Spoiler:it doesn't work

5.Knuckles trying to take a vacation away from the Master Emerald while Sonic guards it for him. (Based off of the Spongebob episode "Squids Day Off").

6.A confused Metal Sonic tries to learn about Mobian culture with a little help from Amy. Metal learns many things but that still doesn't explain this weird feeling he has whenever he's around her.

FF7 Rebirth state of play highlights according to me

-BLACK MATERIA MENTION!? NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN

-SEPHIROTH HUGGING CLOUD AND whispering in his ear??? Sefikura won today folks!

-ZACK AND AERITH!? CISSNEI AS WELL!?

-The mention of "endless dream" has me both excited and scared. I think it's two timelines rather than the whole "it's just a dream" troupe

-Cloud and Sephiroth clashing at the Forgotten Capital!? Makes me wonder more about Aerith and her fate!

-Gameplay looks dope af

I JUST SAW THAT NEW REBIRTH TRAILER AND IM GOING INSANE OVER IT!

Here are my highlights!

-Cloud looks so cool!

-Aerith. Just Aerith

-Marline saying, "If Aerith wakes up, then that big scary man is going to kill her" is getting my brain cooking. I think that this line means that Marline is aware of what's going to happen to Aerith or that it means something regarding the alternative timeline Zack is in rather than the classic "it's just a dream" troupe

-THAT ONE SHOT OF SEPHIROTH

-Cloud talking about loosing his mind and Tifa comforting him, saying it's her turn to save him. Just two best friends looking out for each other

-That one shot of Aerith praying with the Whispers in the background and the black feathers falling. DONT DO THIS TO ME SQUARE ENIX-

-The new theme song is so good!

-the many crumbs sprinkled in the trailer for shippers to go wild over

-Like we see some OG moments, but at the same time, SOMETHING DIFFRENT IS HAPPENING HERE PLOT WISE, which means that WE THEORISTS WON! LET'S GOOOOOOO

I think I found out the meaning behind the title FF7 "Rebirth"

Sephiroth will be reborn/rebirthed like a phoenix, either try to become a god again like he did in the OG or he'll be reborn as a hero.

The fire/phoenix symbolism also ties in with the seraph/star symbolism associated with Sephiroth

As an American this whole situation makes my blood boil. Like it's called the land of the free, yet we're not allowed to protest against Isreal cause the police will arrest us

I came up with this amazing Sonic AU with lots of lore surrounding it, and it's been brewing in my brain for weeks now, so I decided that I'm going to share it now. The AU is just a "What if" scenario, the senario in this case being "What if Sonic dies and Metal Sonic takes his place?"

During one of Eggman's evil schemes, Sonic sacrifices himself to save the world, and Metal Sonic absolutely looses it. He had been thinking about betraying his creator for a long time now, especially since he technically lost his free will after Sonic Heroes. Well, now he gets his chance because Sonic's death was the final nail in the coffin, or rather, the glitch in his code that led him to fully defect from his creator.

In his desperation, he stumbles upon some scrapped scheme, a failed plan that Eggman never set in motion; Holographic technology. So Metal does a bit of DIY and uses this tech to disguise himself as Sonic, essentially finally taking his place and becoming the next hero of Mobius.

In fact, this disguise is so good that even Dr Eggman is fooled and thinks that Sonic is actually alive (he probably thinks that Metal got destroyed or something). Tails however, knows that something is wrong, because Sonic's body had been recovered, and there's another Sonic running around, but he's more...robotic than usual. So Tails decides to do some investigating.

Metal, however, won't stop until he's achieved his ultimate goal, defeating his creator once and for all.

Im calling this AU the "Machina AU" or the "Doppelgänger AU"

Luigi bonding with the Koopalings is my new favorite Bowuigi troupe

Imagine the potential of Luigi and the Koopalings interacting, this can make for some really sweet or funny moments between them. Like I really need to see more of this in Bowuigi fics.
