Focus on your internal experience. That is what matters. That is what shifts. Think as your DR self and no one else. If you enter the mental state of your DR self you will enter the physical state of your DRself.

It's ok if you don't feel it yet, it's ok if you hear a sound from your CR, it's ok if you can feel your old bedroom still. It's OK.

Shifting is not a physical process. Your physical body is not what's shifting between realities, your awareness is. Your sight, hearing, taste, feeling, etc, are all a part of your physical body.

What the nerves in your body are experiencing doesn't matter because you are not the nerves, you are not the body, you are the awareness. Your body isn't trying to shift, your mind is.

You are trying to become aware of another reality and therefore what you are experiencing in this one is irrelevant. It doesn't matter what this body experiences it matters what your awareness is experiencing.

Shifting is internal focus on shifting internally.

If you are sitting down and thinking to yourself about everything see, hear, feel, smell, or taste from your CR, then you are LITERALLY applying the 5 senses method to your CR.

If your method is mainly affirming, so repeating to yourself that you're there, WHAT do you think is happening when you keep telling yourself you're not there? Everything you say is an affirmation. It's not that methods aren't working it's that you are literally applying them in reverse.

It doesn't matter what your senses are telling you because you will shift before they do. It doesn't mean anything unless you tell yourself that it does.

If your senses do not match your mental state stay in the mental state until they do. Do not compromise with shit you don't want.

STAY in the mind of your DRself. That's your only job. Continue to think as if you're there. Continue to think about your life in your DR, continue to occupy the mind of your DRself.

This is what so many people get stuck on. I don't expect you to magically stop experiencing it, it is ok that you felt it. All you have to do is continue to think as if you are in your DR anyway.

Your subconscious will believe what you tell it over what your body is experiencing. Your only goal is to keep telling it that you're in your DR.

Yes you might have heard a loud noise and yes you know it's not from your DR. That doesn't matter. The goal is not to magically un-hear it but to avoid returning to the mental state of your CR self.

It is ok if you can't make yourself believe you're there, you just have to think to yourself as if you are. Think as DR you and no one else.

Essentially, you shift mentally before you feel it physically. Before you experience your desired reality externally you experience it internally.

Expecting To Wake Up In Your CR

Okay, granted, not everyone has this problem - but a lot of people carry around this little assumption and expectation to wake up in their current reality again. No matter what they do. You've got your script ready. Your method is comfy and your chosen subliminal slaps. You feel ready and everything is in place. But deep down? Deep down you prepare yourself for your alarm in the morning. Prepare yourself for the same room, the same body, the same boring reality trot. It's like saying to the universe "Surprise me!", but also slipping in a quiet note saying "Please don't. Just copy yesterday". It's not new knowledge that your subconscious is running the show behind the scenes. But what we sometimes forget is that our subconscious picks its believes from us... from our habits, patterns, the things we repeat over and over again, even the ones we are not fully aware of. And since most of us are raised in a world that values logic, linear thinking, the "you only live once" mentality, it's no surprise some of us struggle with seeing any other reality as "just as real". Not your fault, it's just conditioning doing its work. Shifting goes basically against everything you have been taught to expect, so it can feel hard to rewire that believe on the go. You are a bit like a Roomba - just doing your little routines, bumping into some unexpected furniture on your usual way, programmed by years and years of subconscious patterns and habits. Cute, but kinda confused a lot. Doesn't mean you are broken, just shows you are human. What you can do is trying to catch that thought, the expectation of waking up here, before it starts to settle in again. Don't just say "I hope I shift". Hope is passive. Try something like: "I believe it's possible to shift" "I expect to shift" "My CR isn't the default. My DR can be the default too." You subconscious learns best from repetition, dominant believes and a sense of familiarity. So start feeding it those things, instead of doubt disguised as fickle believe. Once you start treating your DR as absolutely inevitable, it becomes harder for your brain to argue with that over time. You're not failing, just learning. And every single time you turn those pesky little thoughts in more productive ones, you are rewiring your believes. That's not small, that is huge! That is taking your power back from just letting things happen. You are basically standing in the doorway to your DR, you just need to find your way to step into it.

Shifting is not some magical power that only a few people were born with, no shifting is innate. We were ALL born with the ability to shift/manifest! But for some odd reason you think you are the only person out of a population of EIGHT BILLION that can't do it?

I understand that things may seem difficult, but I assure you there are not. Do you want to know something? The "hard" part about shifting is done! You don't have to go anywhere, because you are there.

Same thing with manifesting, you don't have to "get" anything because it's already yours. It is just a matter of whether you've accepted it or not.

happy april to all. apologies for another monthly reading where we were not on schedule. sparing personal details, it’s been a bit chaotic for me as of lately.

you’re someone who tends to pick at your old wounds, never allowing them to fully close as a way to hold onto some control of whatever undesired outcome you have faced. your time will come & this “purgatory” period will only make it them that much sweeter. understand & address what is an immediate pain right now & what is a habitual wound that throbs out of habit. what the thoughts do you associate with shifting ? how to you recoup from failure & / or burnout ?

pay no mind to the people who have hurt you & said things that make you look baco in self doubt because there are people in your future who want to love you as you are. you are not unloveable. your loved ones want to see you flourish, weather you know it or not.

by focusing on your old wounds it is only a giant neon sign to the universe “i am in my current reality”. don’t just heal to bring you a quieter mind, heal to experience what many doubt is even possible. whatever shifting is for you, going to hogwarts (because everyone uses that example) or moving across state lines, it is possible as long as you persist & quiet doubts a little bit.

this mindset will of course can be reflected in the people in your desired reality. how you see yourself, is how they will see you — the people who will be surrounded by when you are the “glass half full” version of yourself. to emphasize yet again, you have people all over who are in your corner & would give an arm & a leg to see you flourish. you are loved !! you don’t need to prove that you are loved. hush the voices & demons that step into your shadows that tell you otherwise. for every negative thing you think of yourself, someone has ten positive things to say about you. brown hoodies, “moonlight” by ariana grande, the movie oliver & company, skeletons (mainly skulls) & quills may hold meaning to you / be signs that you may come across this month that are giving you a quiet “good job”.

you’re in a bit of a rut. mentally ? spiritually ? physically ? maybe an abomination of all three. you may have had the urge to ghost all your friends & retreat to your bed with the intention of never leaving. not quite bed rotting, though. you want to be productive. rather a moment of burn out that you just can’t seem to shake & seems to be overstaying

let yourself wallow for a little bit. get everything out of your system as you’ve been going through it. just make sure you’re productive with it, don’t get addicted to your suffering. journal it out. throw a pillow at the wall. get it out of your system & leave it at the door. life has been pretty stale for you a of late despite possible internal struggles— shifting or not shifting. things have been stagnant & slow & maybe that’s not the outcome you want, but it’s important to remember that’s normal. it’s normal to have some still & uneventful points in your life. you are not a flop or broken or the universe isn’t punishing you. the universe is giving you a moment to recoup & regenerate before you step into your new era.

ask for help & don’t shame yourself for doing so. there are people who are / were just like you, wanting to help. everyone learns at their own pace. “look for the helpers”. your inquires aren’t a burden to others. inboxes are always open everywhere you look. you have friends at every corner that you don’t even know exist.

write. write love letters. write books. write your feelings. write in a diary. writing seems to be something related to your desired reality. more specifically, using your hands or communicating with them ? the name lynn may resonate with you / be your signs this month to look out for. along with lapus luzuli & peacock feathers. submerging yourself in water might bring clarity & — I don’t mean this in a joke-y way — touching grass.

thank your thoughts of overthinking & over planning for trying to protect you about others & expel them from your mind. you are ready to take a “risk”. stop letting worry & hesitation & perfectionism erode your mind. you can revisit on a later date. nothing, & i mean nothing, is ever set in stone. you don’t have to ball & chain yourself to one desire or version of yourself or reality or one way of living. circle in on what it is you want & don’t overthink it. don’t look back. a break in usual routine may be needed. it could be as small as laying out your clothes the night before or updating your subliminal playlist or as complex as running a mile every morning.

you’re a lover at heart. you go so hard for people, while others typically don’t put in the same energy as you & that plays a role into why you’re shifting. you want fairness & the scales to be balanced. libra placements, perhaps ? don’t let other people’s negativity & invalidation make you small or shy away from the natural shining beams of love you cast onto others. people are looking after you, weather it be angels, past relatives or something so simple as a friendly neighborhood cat picking up your energy.

but what you are searching for through shifting, you are able to achieve here. im not saying this to turn you around & run in the opposite direction from your desires, but im picking up on the fact you feel like an absolute alien sometimes. you’re not. you just haven’t found your people yet. while this isn’t shifting message directly, expanding your horizons & stepping out of your perfectly curated comfort zone could benefit. gardening may help you. you’re probably someone who likes learning about history or ancient art. broken / split wires, round jewelry, projectors, the smell of coconut & horse back riding may resonate with you or be signs to look out for.

You HAVE to stop putting people who have shifting above you, they are not the "chosen" one, they were not hand picked by the shifting gods, they are not some magical shifting gurus that have studied the art of reality shifting for years and years. No.

They don't hold the secrets to the multiverse, and they can NOT shift you. They are not above you, SHIFTING is not above you. Stop acting like it's some special power that was granted to a certain few, because it is quite literally the opposite.

And as someone who shifted I can assure you it's nothing special. You know back in early shifttok when people would say that shifting is as easy as breathing and you would HATE it, because when you looked around you still saw your Cr?

Well, when I shifted it was easy, no it was natural. There was no light beam splitting the sky in two, lifting my body from my Cr bed into my haikyu Dr (yes that was my first ever dr) no, the shift was easy. It was natural, in fact it was so natural I didn't even realize it at first.

I didn't do anything special, I promise you. I pinky swear. Shifting is something we do all the time, shifting is NOW. It's not an obstacle course, it is not an exam, it is not rocket science.

Okay, ik how hard it feels when nothing is showing up....like, you’re out here affirming, visualizing, being that version of yourself and doing all the things, and life’s just looking at you like "nah, not yet." And it’s frustrating as hell. But listen, this is exactly when you have to double down.

See, manifestation isn’t about what’s in front of you..it’s about what’s going on inside you. Your 3D reality? Old news. Everything you’re seeing right now is just a delayed reflection of past thoughts and beliefs.

That’s why it feels like nothing’s changing. But the second you start thinking differently, reality has no choice but to shift. It’s literally law.

"But what if it’s been months and I still see nothing?"

That’s the thing..persisting doesn’t mean waiting. It means you’re so locked into your end state that you refuse to accept anything else.

The key? Stop checking. Stop looking around for proof. Stop thinking "but when?" and just be the version of you who already has it.

If you had it right now, would you be stressing? Nah. You’d be chilling. So chill.

But what to do when doubts hit?

When you start thinking "ugh, this isn’t working?" Flip that thought instantly. Be delusional if you have to.

If your mind starts saying "this is impossible," correct it like, wtf brain? This had already happened are you dumb or what????

If your brain says then why tf I can't see it, tell it cause you don't have eyes that's why you can't see it, I have eyes and I am literally seeing it cause this has already happened dumbass. :|

Maybe you haven’t shifted yet because you’re standing at the threshold, pounding on the door like it owes you something, so loud and desperate you can’t hear the soft click of the lock unlatching on its own. Sometimes we want something so badly that we strangle it — clutching it like a lifeline, knuckles pale, breath tight, thinking that if we just try harder, it’ll finally give. But shifting isn’t a stubborn jar lid. It’s a dream, and dreams don’t bloom under pressure — they open like petals in stillness.

Maybe you haven’t shifted yet because you’re standing at the threshold, pounding on the door like it owes you something, so loud and desperate you can’t hear the soft click of the lock unlatching on its own. Sometimes we want something so badly that we strangle it — clutching it like a lifeline, knuckles pale, breath tight, thinking that if we just try harder, it’ll finally give. But shifting isn’t a stubborn jar lid. It’s a dream, and dreams don’t bloom under pressure — they open like petals in stillness.

It’s like trying to catch a snowflake with fire in your hands. The more you reach, the quicker it melts. You wouldn’t scream at the ocean to make a wave crash faster. You just wait, feet buried in the sand, while the tide inches in, closer and closer, until it kisses your toes without asking.

I know you feel like you’ve done everything. You’ve whispered affirmations like secrets into the night, folded your limbs like origami, held visions in your mind until your imagination became see-through. You’ve felt it: that one fragile moment of almost, where your soul swore this is it, just before it slipped back into the dark.

this isn’t tough love. this isn’t a scolding. this is just the mechanics of reality. this isn’t about blame. it’s not your fault, but it is your responsibility (i saw this quote somewhere and i really liked it, anyway). reality is malleable, but only if you stop acting like you’re at its mercy. stop waiting for permission. stop refreshing the page, stop tapping the glass. it’s done. act accordingly.

consider your brain an old, glitchy computer, whirring in the corner of your psyche, choking on its own outdated code. your subconscious doesn’t know what’s real versus imagined, it only knows the instructions you give it. and if those instructions are “this isn’t happening, i don’t see it, i don’t believe it,” well, congratulations, the system registers that as the blueprint. and it prints that out. over and over. like a bureaucratic nightmare, a kafka novel of your own making.

this is not to say that doubt is failure, doubt is human, doubt is a thrum in the background of any great creation. but if doubt is the occasional rainstorm, belief is the structural integrity of the house. belief holds. belief carries. belief is the scaffolding between you and the impossible, and without it, you are just standing in an empty field, waiting for architecture to spontaneously occur.

there’s a reason schrodinger’s cat remains the most infuriating hypothetical in quantum mechanics, because the cat is both alive and dead until you open the box. the observer collapses the wave function. and in this case, you are the observer. if you don’t believe it, you keep the box shut. if you do believe it, the universe is already rearranging itself around your conviction.

this is not new-age drivel. this is not a vision board with a quote about perseverance peeling off in the humidity. this is physics. have you ever thought about someone, and then they text you five minutes later? that’s the speed at which reality moves when you don’t get in your own way. you didn’t sit there clutching your skull, willing them into existence, you just assumed, with ease, with god-tier nonchalance. and because you weren’t scrutinising the timeline like a detective with a corkboard and red string and bloodied eyes, the message came through. the only thing standing between you and everything you want is the way you react to its absence. the hand-wringing, the despair, the creeping doubt, it’s a full-time job, and it pays in absolutely nothing.

which brings me to my next point: trying. trying is the problem. trying implies effort, and effort implies resistance, and resistance is another way of saying “i don’t actually believe i have this.” and you know what people do when they have things? they stop worrying about whether they have them. a person in possession of an apple does not pace the room, clutching their chest, whimpering, “but do i really have it?” they just eat the apple.

and before you say, “but look at my reality, it’s contradicting me,” i will say this once, and you must etch it into your mind like scripture: reality is old news. what you are seeing is just a delayed projection of past assumptions. do not react to it. do not engage with it. it is a rerun of a show you no longer care about. the moment you stop feeding into the contradictions, they wither. the moment you accept that what you want is already done, reality will course-correct. until then, it is an echo chamber of your previous doubts. ignore it like it’s a tabloid headline about a scandal that never actually happened.

flip the switch. decide, assume, move forward. no more “manifesting,” no more “waiting.” you don’t wait for what’s already yours. you don’t question a chair’s ability to hold you up before sitting down. you don’t send a letter and then agonise over whether the mail system still exists. you assume. you know. and so it is.

and before the panic sets in, no, this does not mean you must be a perfect disciple of unwavering belief. doubt will creep in, as it always does. you will have moments of existential dread, of scrutinising, of muttering “but what if” into your hands at 2 a.m. this is fine. this is human. just don’t let it become the dominant narrative. there will be moments where you feel like you're nowhere, like your manifestations have abandoned you and you're left with nothing but the weight of your own effort. do not, under any circumstances, entertain this lie. i will personally resurrect the fear of god just to drill this into you: do not. what you do instead is cry a little, wipe your face, and then lock the fuck in, because i swear on everything, sometimes, all it takes is a stretch of nothing to summon an abundance of everything. let the doubt pass through like an intrusive thought you refuse to entertain, like a pigeon that landed in your cafe but is not, in fact, your problem.

maybe this reminds you of when the soviets tried to scientifically disprove intuition, only to realise they had unintentionally proved it instead. maybe this reminds you of every ghost story you’ve ever heard, how the only ones who see them are the ones who expect to.

anyways. it’s all already happening. your only job is to get out of the way.

Shifting is kind of like being a jellyfish. You don’t have to force it or try too hard. Just like a jellyfish floats through the water without thinking, shifting happens when you let go and stop trying to control every little thing. You just exist in the moment, letting go of all the pressure. The more relaxed you are, the easier it is to float into your DR, like you’re already there without forcing it. So, let your mind drift, trust the process, and just be—shifting doesn’t need to be a struggle. It’s like floating effortlessly, just letting the current take you where you’re meant to go.

little disclaimer, this is what works for me because it's what i genuinely believe in. it's called a shifting journey because it's up to you to explore what works for you and what doesn't.

after years of practicing the law of assumption i could experience with my own eyes what everyone says online: reality really is malleable, i'm the one that gets to shape it.

how does that work? we all know that persisting = hardening it into a fact. when you persist on an assumption, you'll perceive it as the truth, becoming the reality. in other words — the only reality is what we decide to perceive as reality.

if you perceive yourself as weak, insecure, ugly, poor, etc, that's your reality. if you perceive yourself as kind, confident, beautiful, rich, whatever your desire might be, there you go.

and why? because we are pure consciousness. we are not our physical body.

— okay, izzy, get to the point . . .

right, so what did i do to help me manifest 10 times faster and progress a lot in my shifting journey? i detached myself from my body and from reality in general.

i understood i am simply consciousness and this body is not me, it's a reflection of what i perceive as me. i achieved a mindset that i'm not bound to this body, i'm not chained to it.

anytime i manifest something, i'm simply shifting to a reality where i have my desire. simple as that.

it's funny because because every since i was a kid i had these moments where i looked at myself in the mirror and questioned "is this really me?". i spent so much time living inside my mind that i barely acknowledged my body...

same thing when detaching from reality —

many shifters might have the feeling that when getting to their desired reality, it'll be too easy to come back, way too easy. as if a simple thought about this reality will immediately bring your consciousness here again. like there's a magnet in this reality that will pull you back any instant.

this might be because you still don't fully understand how real your desired reality is. however, i do want you to have that feeling about your cr. understand that there's no magnet here or anywhere, you're the one who decides. you're the one that chooses what to perceive. this reality is merely temporary, just as shapable as your dr.

please note that you do not NEED to detach in order to shift/manifest. it's not a mandatory requirement because there's no such thing when it comes to shifting. there's no step-by-step. (i've said this like 10 times..)

to achieve this mindset, what i did was simply affirm until it became second nature to me, like common knowledge. i implemented it into my daily life, for example, i'd take a completely random moment throughout the day and look around, really observing everything around me and understanding: this is all what i choose to perceive. i'm in control. i'm not chained to this body, i don't belong to it. i'm what i choose to be. reality is only what i decide. etc...

i became really detached to everything. it's freeing, honestly. once i started living with this belief i was less anxious, focusing more on the little things of life instead of being in constant alert mode.

i hope i could help some of you on your manifesting/shifting journey. this was probably my personal "key moment" where i finally realized something that was missing and decided to share with you all! happy shifting <3

shifting to me is the crackle of the fire, the heat of it when I sit to close, the half of myself that is facing away feeling the chill of cold seeping through the cracks of my home, the flip of pages from my father sitting in his rocking chair, an act so familiar to him but I need to commit it to memory, and hold it close because I’ve made it.

it’s stones prickling my feet with wiry grass, my hand holding on to who've known me for ages and I, consciously, only a few days but it feels like a lifetime with them. it’s familiar yet it’s not, my feet know the path ahead of me but my eyes do not. they call me by a name that’s only ever played in my head and I know I’ve made it.

it’s cold seeping in and chilling my bones from the lake, fingertips pruning and numb. the laughter that rings both familiar and foreign from my friends, dogs that nose me with kinship that I know deep in my bones. it’s shivering in the grass, tingles running up my spine from sun warming my back, hands fisting sand in my grip, caked beneath my nails is seaweed and dust and I know I’ve made it

shifting is supposed to be fun, so protect your heart, make those precautions and feel, the texture of your table, of your clothes, remember that your dr is exactly like that

take a moment, a breath, feel your cr then change that, take away the texture of wherever your sitting and it make it your dr. change the consistency of your clothes, change the scent of the air, change how your heart feels, deep down, feel that you are there and you will be.

setting intention (for shifting), a rundown

what is setting intention?

setting intention is telling yourself you will do something. essentially making a plan to carry out a specific action. for example, maybe before class i want to buy a coffee. so when i go to bed the day before, i say to myself "oh tommorow i'll buy a coffee before my class". and the next day before class, i have that reminder in the back of my head — to get coffee, and so i carry it out, and get coffee before class.

to put it another way: let's say youre invited to a party. the party is a few days away, but throughout the days leading up to the party — you buy a gift for the party host, you pick out an outfit to wear, you do your makeup the day of the party, etc etc. by doint all of that; you're setting the intention to attend the party for days leading up to it.

setting intention isn't complicated, we do it 24/7 without realizing. when you say you're going to do something, even something as simple as brushing ur teeth or showering — and then you do it, you're setting intention and carrying it out.

so, how do you set the intention to reality shift?

surely if you could just walk into your dr the same way you can walk into your bathroom and brush your teeth, you would do it right? well... you literally can, a lot of you have just been taught otherwise.

in the beginning of your shifting journey, im sure you heard about the raven method or something similar. im sure creators have told you "you must lay in starfish position and count to 100 or else it won't work". and while methods within themselves aren't necessarily bad or holding you back — the way you complete the method and view it, is.

i think a lot of you go into methods, thinking that completing the steps will make you shift, when really — it's the intention of the method outcome that gets you what you want.

put it this way: when you count to 100, say ur affirmations, etc. are you doing it with the intention to shift once the task is completed? or are you doing it thinking that counting will push you into your dr?

setting intention = something you plan to do. not something you might do, not a possible outcome, something you have a set plan to complete/achieve. saying affirmations or counting with the HOPE of it MAKING you shift, sounds pretty useless — because you're not actually planning to do it. you're not being stubborn enough. youre not persistent, you're simply hoping that when you say 100 you'll shift. but you need to KNOW it will. (if that's the method ur using.. this is just an example)

once again, put it this way: when i say "im going to get coffee after class". would it make sense for me to sit there and hope i go and get a coffee? girl what? no, of course not. im the one who has to make the decision, to get up and go and get the coffee. you're the one who has to make the decision you will shift and persist in it no matter what. intention has to be there no matter what.

to put it into a loa perspective for those manifesting they shift with ease, when you manifest something — you also intend. you think of a desire you want, you intend to manifest it, and then you carry out that intention by persisting in the belief that it is yours. see how simple the concept is?

so, how do you practice setting intention? how do you know you're actually intending?

now, this next part sounds like a process, and it usually is. most people spread reprogramming your mind out between a couple days, maybe even a week. but do not attack me for this.. you guys always complain you've been trying to shift for years! you constantly ask me for challenges or tips on how to shift/reprogram ur brain. so if a few days of this seems like too much work, don't do it. i'm not saying you have to. but remember youve spent so many years *hoping* you'll shift. what's a few more days reprogramming ur mind to work in your favour and in the end, *know* you will shift?  

i can't lie or sugar coat it, a lot of you are still in this 2020 shifting mindset where everything is over complicated. but you need to remember these circumstances don't matter, your mind,life,beliefs,etc can always be altered to benefit you. and that's what my goal with telling you this is, to help you take those steps into actually believing.

practice intention by focusing on your everyday actions before carrying them out. for example, before you shower — affirm "im going to shower" a few minutes before you actually do. just like how your subconscious manifests things by accepting repeated thoughts, beliefs, and assumptions as true. When you consistently repeat basic intentions like “I’m going to shower,” you’re training your subconscious to respond automatically to your commands. this builds trust between your conscious and subconscious mind, making it easier for your subconscious to accept things you've been taught to view as hard or unrealistic (such as reality shifting). This practice strengthens your ability to shift because it reinforces the idea that what you say or assume will happen naturally. 

another strong intention i would recommend practicing to train your mind (and convince yourself you actually have the power to do these things) is intending to wake up at a certain time. for example, before u go to bed, and/or throughout the day : affirm "i will wake up at 5am tomorrow" or similar affirmations.

now, once you feel confident in your understanding of intention — simply use it the same way you did everything else. when you're ready to shift, set the intention. affirm: i will wake up in my dr, i will shift, or similar affirmations that align with YOUR intention. decide that you WILL shift, domt hope dont wish dont "try". KNOW you WILL do it no ifs ands or buts.

what do i do if i don't actually shift after setting the intention tho?

i know this question will be asked so im answering it before u have the chance to say it 🤣 but all i'll say is going back to the coffee analogy; if i wake up and set the intention to get coffee, but i go and they're all sold out. should i decide im never going to go to that coffee shop ever again? should i think the café is never ever gonna sell coffee again? no... that would be silly. so why would anyone do the same for shifting? sure it might be frustrating that they don't have the coffee since you decided you were going to get it. but once you go the next day, or maybe 2 days later, and they're no longer sold out. you get the coffee — and your frustration has passed. you don't erase the concept of coffee, you simply go again.

i don't get where people got the idea that you shouldn't get attached to your drs, that somehow they won't be as 'real' as your cr... baby bare your teeth and gnash. love until skin turns to bone, then become one with earth itself. mark your place, claw your way through dimensions. don't be afraid to hang onto something that is as real as your breath.
