Herd immunity is the idea that if enough people get immunized against a disease, they’ll create protection for even those who aren’t vaccinated. This is important to protect those who can’t get vaccinated, like immunocompromised children. 

You can see in the image how low levels of vaccination lead to everyone getting infected. Medium levels slow down the progression of the illness, but they don’t offer robust protection to the unvaccinated. But once you read a high enough level of vaccination, the disease gets effectively road-blocked. It can’t spread fast enough because it encounters too many vaccinated individuals, and so the majority of the population (even the unvaccinated people) are protected.

Ugh, season 4 Glee

I’m re-watching #Glee. So s4 ep 9 swan song (shut up spn, I know) … Rachel fuckin Berry says her fave holiday song is O Holy Night. For fuckin real? Since when? “…o night devine, o night when Christ was born.” She still Jewish, fucknuts?

Season 5 #Glee. Episodes 9 - 13. UGH, Rachel Berry, you're un-fucking-believable & I can't wait to see your epic fail I know is coming. Except I'll have to also see you moping around, too, looking for sympathy. That'll suck. And in a sane world, you still owe Santana an apology. I trust Rachel less than I would Santana. Also this show has become so boring... I'm going to finish it, but I sometimes skip song performances - they don't usually tie-in anyway. These kids/storylines are exhausting.
