Yeh I feel like we can critique are candidates but it’s important we do it with accurate information!

It didn’t hit me until recently that people genuinely think Kamala Harris was a police officer because of all the people who call her a cop online.

Like I think maybe it’s important people should know she was a prosecutor. She was once a district attorney and later an attorney general for the state of California. And we can discuss how related that is to police work and how tied she is to the carceral system etc etc (but for fairness would have to include her record of pushing for lowering incarceration rates through programs helping former prisoners + her office refusing to jail folks for low level weed offense). But she was never a police officer. Like people should get that clear. Kamala Harris was never a police officer. She was a district attorney. She was never a police officer.

No Ceasefire No Vote campaign in Pa. pressures Harris, Dems on Gaza

Voters who pledge are withholding support from Kamala Harris barring a permanent ceasefire in Gaza or a promise to implement an arms embargo

I wanted to share this because I think this is a genuinely great move and works because Pennsylvania is a swing state where these votes make a much bigger impact.

I understand people who are conflicted over the 2024 election but rather than simply not voting looking into any organized movements like this to use your vote as a tool would be awesome. Obviously what you can do varies state by state and some people aren’t comfortable withholding there vote with trump as the other candidate which is understandable.

Anyway sorry for the ramble remember that even if you don’t feel you can vote for Kamala there is still a lot of local elections that matter. Good luck to everyone.

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. Wanted to do more abstract background stuff. This characters name is Jackie she belongs to @vrissy-lalonde I inverted the colors for the charcter cause I wanted to play around with abnormal colors. This is my 4th Art fight attack.

If you ever see a post I make that seems really random just know that I occasionally use Tumblr like a notes app and store pieces of info I might want to recall later.

Does anyone know how to tell if your work is ok, I know constructive criticism can be helpful but I want to make sure the draft I give people to criticize is at least decent. I’m taking mainly about writing in this case as I can spot visual oddities in my artwork more easily than I can notice clunkiness in my writing. I’d love any advice anyone may have.

Just watched Metal Family cause i’d seen a few TikTok’s as it so happens me be my sister watched it the same night also because of TikTok’s she saw and so the next morning we talked about I was like huh wild coincidence.
