RISE OF THE GUARDIANS HALLOWEEN 2024: Event Guidelines

13 days, 13 prompts.

Visual, aural, textile, and literary works are allowed - fanart, fanfiction, gifs, edits/manips, cosplay, fanmixes, crafts, or ask-and-answer.  

Unlike other fandom events, reblogs of previously created material are welcome IF THEY FIT THE PROMPT, but creation of original material is preferred.

Inspiration can be drawn from the GUARDIANS OF CHILDHOOD bookverse, the RISE OF THE GUARDIANS movieverse, and any and all associated AUs.

OCs are welcome and encouraged to interact with RotG/GoC characters.

Urgent aid request: Please help as I am completely at a loss and feel like a terrible kitty mom. 🚨‼️

I’ve had Elvira since she was 8 weeks old. My baby is suffering and I can’t even afford the diagnostics testing needed, I went on vacation for 2 days and when I came back, it was to piles of vomit and what I thought was pee, but now I think it might have been just bile. One of the piles had red ribbon in it. She has been extremely lethargic and just staying in one spot, staring off into the distance falling asleep sitting up. She also isnt eating, which is a big indicator for her, as she is usually a little piggy and even finishes her sisters food most days.

I took her to the pet ER yesterday and right away it was $250. They gave her fluids, an antinausea shot, and gave me some “bland food” samples and some meds for me to take home to help calm her stomach. In total it was $336 out of pocket that was meant to go towards my mortgage, and now have only $50 to my name for over a week. I unfortunately do not qualify for care credit.

Here is where I need help:

**I attached pics of her healthy and then the last pic and video of her today being barely responsive, falling asleep sitting. I was quoted $576 is needed. Right now, I just need help to pay for the bloodwork and xrays, praying surgery isnt needed. If that happens, I don’t know what I will do😭 trying so hard to stay positive but my heart is breaking!

Thranduil with a forgetful Significant Other

- If his SO is forgetful Thranduil will try to help in any way he can

- He will always either leave a note for you in the morning if he is busy and cannot join you for breakfast or he himself will list off things you might have forgotten over breakfast.

- Other times he’ll hint at something you have forgotten in a conversation

- “Mellon nin Lord Elrond responded to our letter he is to arrive in a few weeks time.”

- This usually sparks your memory such as remembering to start working on trade treaties for when Lord Elrond arrives

- If you misplace something and can’t seem to remember where you put it he’ll have the maids find it and put it back ‘where you left it’ so you don’t feel bad

- If you get angry at yourself for being forgetful Thranduil will reassure you everyone forgets sometimes, if that’s not enough he’ll make his letters or comments a little more specific so you have a more put together schedule

- He also does his best to be discreet about the forgetfulness so that others in the castle don’t begin to spread rumors

- Lots of times he’ll also mention times he forgot things like when he was a young prince he misplaced his crown

- If you write lists on your arm he’ll understand the practicality behind us but still doesn’t like it, he doesn’t like how it marks your body and how much more irked you get if you forget something that was on the list on your arm

- All in all if nothing else works Thranduil will give you so much affection that often times you forget about your anger towards your forgetfulness

- “Do not fret Mellon nin, it must not have been worth remembering… Unlike me”

Not Gonna lie just made this because I’m forgetful and have been having trouble with forgetting.
