Percy’s office was filled with the intense sounds of snogging between him and his girlfriend, Audrey. She was perhaps everything that Percy was not. Brilliant in a way that didn’t annoy her friends who Percy had the misfortune of meeting on a very off day of his where he had worn a ridiculously colourful outfit given to him by Dumbledore for Christmas. She was funny and made snarky remarks that had managed to make him snort milk through his nose.
She was perfect. And the fact that she was really bloody sexy also helped. Right now she had arrived at his office to his complete surprise, she was apparently there to not only visit him, but also for a surprise. He was on his way to the Great Hall early as today was the day of the Demonstration Match everyone was talking about, it was more anticipated than the last Quidditch Match which had ended terribly from what he’d seen.
The Keeper for the Ravenclaw team had nearly gotten his head knocked off after Duncan Inglebee from his same team had accidentally sent it his way when Cho Chang had screamed out orders at him. People say that she burst into tears after the match was over.
And now it was his duty to report to the Minister any suspicious activity coming from Dumbledore. The Minister suspected that Dumbledore would use the large amount of attention given to the school event to sneak from Hogwarts and plan something against the Minister. It was… an interesting idea, not really fitting to Dumbledore if Percy were to be honest, but he wasn’t there to be honest, he was there to fulfil the job he had been given.
Which was pretty difficult seeing as Audrey had told him he looked incredibly adorable with the robes he’d decided to wear today, which happened to be some of his common clothes that he normally used. In a second she had pounced on him and locked her lips with his. He would have to leave in a couple of moments or a couple of minutes… yeah a couple of minutes never hurt anybody did they?
Her tongue seemed to dance with his as her thin fingers moved through his hair almost tearing at his scalp deliciously. How did a prat like him get a girl like her? He didn’t know, he just knew that from the moment he had met that brilliant and incredible woman he had become putty in her hands. She was quite the opposite of what he would think would be his type –rebellious, mischievous and every other synonym of those words that ended with -ous.
After their first date where Percy had managed to make himself look like a stuttering, stammering mess of a wizard she had found him “adorably amusing” and kissed him goodnight.
It was on their third date that she had hinted for him to spend the night, and for all his Gryffindor bravery he had almost cowered under her predatory gaze. Yet, that night he might as well have fallen in love, her flat stomach that he covered with kisses, her breasts and collarbones that made him go crazy and even her arms with moving tattoos manage to absolutely bewitch him. It wasn’t his first time, that had been with Penelope, but it certainly felt as magical.
Then there was the working part of her, and he was quite embarrassed when he got a stiffy from watching her fill out a bunch of paperwork in her flat the handful of times he had been there. The way she didn’t miss a detail in her work, her eyebrows would furrow and she would take out some reading glasses. He had waited for her to finish just to take her again.
Blimey, his girlfriend really was amazing, so amazing in fact that he didn’t hear the knock on the door until it swung open.
“Mr Weasley, have you seen– Oh my!”
Percy and Audrey separated as if the other burned like hot fire. Percy tucked his shirt back inside his trousers, while Audrey rearranged her messy hair. By the doorway there was a very annoyed and mildly embarrassed Madame Pomfrey, she had the decency of closing her eyes.
“M-Madame Pomfrey!” he sputtered. “W-what the blood- What are you doing here?!”
“I’m here, Mr Weasley,” she explained as she opened her eyes. “Because a fellow healer by the name of Audrey Alysnes was supposed to come in by your office and then to me.”
Percy turned around with a surprised expression on his face, a sort of nervous smile took over Audrey’s features as she shook her hands and said.
“Surprise.”
“WHAT?!” Percy almost bellowed.
“Yes Mr Weasley,” said Pomfrey. “As you know the Demonstration Match is taking place today. As such I demanded the attendance of another healer in case there were any injuries during said Match. They were supposed to arrive at my office about ten minutes ago.”
Both Audrey and Percy blushed as Audrey kissed his cheek and followed Pomfrey out of his office. Percy sat down, his face in his hands. He rubbed his eyes. This was going to be a long day, and not just because of what happened.
The day after the Quidditch Match on Sunday the Four Founders had announced that each Champion was supposed to engage in a challenge given by a different founder than their own and in a duel determined during the match.
They conjured the sorting hat and waved their wands at it while muttering an incantation that Percy didn’t know.
“Luna Lovegood!” it had spat out. Gryffindor immediately raised his hand choosing her for a challenge he would be preparing. The red haired man looked at Rowena Ravenclaw and winked his eye, and Percy saw as she blushed before turning her head away. They repeated their process and aimed at the sorting hat again.
“Ron Weasley!” Hufflepuff seemed excited and was about to raise her hand when Salazar Slytherin raised his own. The Dark Wizard stared at Percy’s younger brother with a sort of malicious smirk. His greyish green eyes seemed to shimmer in a way that reminded Percy of Dumbledore. It was a mischievous and almost terrifying look. Ron for his part didn’t look too eager. Some Slytherins seemed incredibly smug and were smiling amongst each other, in particular Malfoy.
Cedric Diggory had ended up with Ravenclaw, while Daphne Greengrass had been put with Hufflepuff. Percy didn’t particularly care for those three, he was more concerned with his baby brother at the claws of Salazar bloody Slytherin.

Potters Look Quite Like Gingers Nowadays
Can't believe someone actually asked, but I'm happy to respond.
This one is a One-Shot Crack Fic I'm working on from book 2 to the final book.
Basically, Snape finds out about the whole Malfoy calling Hermione a mudblood incident in Chamber of Secrets, but instead of being angry at Malfoy for saying mudblood he projects himself onto him, and basically tries to set them up.
He fails because Hermione finds Malfoy repulsive and Malfoy really doesn't want to date Hermione, but still does what Snape tells him to because he's scared of his unstable Potions Professor.
Snape also begins to let go of his hatred for Harry and begins concentrating it on Ron, that's where the title comes from. I've just written a couple of paragraphs, but I hope it will turn out okay.
Snape stared at Malfoy with such hatred, such repulsion and anger. That when Draco Malfoy finally raised his head, he realized he was looking into himself. The young Malfoy's grey eyes reflected his own dark and slumping figure, and there he realized they were one in the same. Two poor souls, unable to...
To be with the one they loved…
Yes, poor Malfoy truly had screwed it up. He had screwed it up far earlier than he had. With the exact same horrible word that had cost him his Lily. And then the disappointed came in, this world was so wretched that it could never let two tortured souls be with the one they love.
Malfoy stared up at him, and Snape then realized he so hope. Desperation. Fear. A thousand emotions that swam in his eyes. Surely, it was hope for Snape to fix this situation. Desperation for him and his lovely muggle-born Gryffindor to belong together. Fear of losing her forever.
"Mr. Malfoy," he said in his normal stern voice. He gulped, the poor boy he truly was scared of losing his Lil–Hermione. "Do not worry."
And then his previous frown became a slow smirk that overtook his features.
"You are not losing her," Snape continued. "I'll do everything in my power to get you and Ms. Granger together."
The poor boy, he was so excited he became almost petrified.
Ron Weasley, Hogwarts’ Knight of Bravery.
Making a book series on FF.net plan on making several designs for the four houses and their champions as well as their Founders make sure to check them out.
If you want to check it out its called The Founder’s Heirs and The Hogwarts Tournament. It’ll start by fifth year and go on until the Epilogue.
OMG! No I hadn't! I love it!
Ron giving Hermione a little Christmas Gift. Scene taken from Ron Weasley and the Hogwarts Tournament. I recommend it, if you haven’t read it yet. Its Ron-centric and treats all the characters fairly. And Hermione has taken notice. They are in PJs because its early morning and Hermione found Ron working out… :) As I was reading through, I thought this was a cute moment and so I had to draw it up. I was originally going to leave it as a quick rough sketch but I was reminded that Valentine’s Day is coming up so I decided to fix it up and post it. Maybe one day I will color it in properly…

Heart attacks symptoms are different for women. I recently learned this.
Okay, but young Hercules from the Disney movie looks exactly like how I picture Ron.
Tall, gangly, skinny, big hands, big feet, big ears, long nose, red hair, blue eyes. Am I the only one seeing this?
Of fucking course
What sick bastard doesn’t
Never saw something more relatable
Dear AO3 readers please know that if I do not reply to your comment it is because I am laying it on the ground and rolling in it like a cat in a flower bed
Although you said it wasn’t Ron slander this very much sounded like Ron slander. So I’m going to point out a few things that I disagreed with using facts from the books.
“I feel I owe you another explanation, Harry," said Dumbledore hesitantly. "You may, perhaps, have wondered why I never chose you as a prefect? I must confess… that I rather thought… you had enough responsibility to be going on with."
Dumbledore didn’t give Ron the prefect badge because of not wanting to hurt his feelings. He did it because Harry had too much going on, and making him a prefect would be too much for him. Ron was just the second-best option.
He had forgotten completely about prefects being chosen in the fifth year. He had been too anxious about the possibility of being expelled to spare a thought for the fact that badges must be winging their way towards certain people. But if he had remembered… if he had thought about it… what would he have expected?
Not this, said a small and truthful voice inside his head.
Harry screwed up his face and buried it in his hands. He could not lie to himself; if he had known the prefect badge was on its way, he would have expected it to come to him, not Ron. Did this make him as arrogant as Draco Malfoy? Did he think himself superior to everyone else? Did he really believe he was better than Ron?
No, said the small voice defiantly.
Was that true? Harry wondered, anxiously probing his own feelings.
I'm better at Quidditch, said the voice. But I'm not better at anything else.
Harry stated that he had actually forgotten about the prefect badge, and he said that if he had remembered he would’ve expected it to go to himself and not Ron. He also said that Ron and him aren’t that different in academic terms and the only good thing Harry is better at is flying (This is Harry’s perspective by the way).
And being a prefect wouldn’t be the only thing that Harry would’ve accomplished for himself: He became seeker on the Gryffindor Quidditch team in his first-year, something that rarely happens; He helped won the House Cup three years in a row; He got an award for special services from the school in his 2nd year; He won the Quidditch Cup in his third year.
Ron feels the way he does because of his childhood. He wouldn’t think about a world without his family because he’s had them all of his life. And of course Harry would be quick to change his life’s with Ron, he knows a life without a loving family and that’s the only thing he craves.
“Listen - Ron - well done, mate."
The smile faded off Ron's face.
“I never thought it would be me!" he said, shaking his head. "I thought it would be you!"
Ron wouldn’t have thrown a hissy fit either. He quite literally tells Harry that he was shocked that he was chosen instead of him. He expected it.
He was grinning, but it was a very odd, strained sort of grin. Harry suddenly became aware that he was still wearing the scarlet Gryffindor banner that Lee had tied around him. He hastened to take it off, but it was knotted very tightly. Ron lay on the bed without moving, watching Harry struggle to remove it.
“So," he said, when Harry had finally removed the banner and thrown it into a corner. "Congratulations."
Even in GoF Ron wanted to be glad for Harry being chosen as the Fourth Champion. And in OotP in the same chapter that Ron is appointed prefects Harry uses his experiences with Voldemort to justify why he should’ve been prefect. Not because he had suffered too much and he wanted this one simple thing, but because it was him that did it, not Ron.
But what about outside lessons? What about those adventures he, Ron and Hermione had had together since starting at Hogwarts, often risking much worse than expulsion?
Well, Ron and Hermione were with me most of the time, said the voice in Harry's head.
Not all the time, though, Harry argued with himself. They didn't fight Quirrell with me. They didn't take on Riddle and the Basilisk. They didn't get rid of all those Dementors the night Sirius escaped. They weren't in that graveyard with me, the night Voldemort returned…
He uses those traumatic experiences as an excuse to why he’s more qualified than Ron to be a school prefect when those things have nothing to do with school work or academic achievements.
I’m not trying to slander Harry, but he didn’t really care about the prefect badge. In fact he got over it pretty quickly. The only times he cared about it where when Malfoy abused his powers as a prefect.
Not Ron slander but the fact that Harry was going to be a prefect but Dumbledore gave it to Ron because he was worried about Ron’s feelings and the fact that he wooodve thrown a tantrum was so pathetic. It’s one of the things that make me dislike Ron. Everything Harry has are things he didn’t want or choose to have. He didn’t choose to the chosen one. He didn’t choose to be famous, especially when his fame is related to the death of both of his parents. He didn’t want to be rumored to be the heir of Slytherin. He didn’t choose to be the triwizard champion. Those are all things that were forced upon him without his consent and the fact that Ron throws a hissy fit about it because he doesn’t get anything or feel special is so pathetic and narrow minded. I don’t remember if Harry wanted to be a prefect but if he did, it wouldve been the only thing Harry wanted for himself and actually earned over the course of four traumatic years at Hogwarts. Facing Voldemort three times, watching Cedric die, and then still doing semi well in school. Like I understand that Ron feels the way he does because he’s from a big family and often gets overshadowed and forgotten but anyone can see Harry would switch their lives in a hot second because Ron has a stable home life with loving parents. They might not have much but it’s all Harry ever wanted and Ron is pressed about things that are getting Harry injured, almost killed, and more traumatized. It’s quite ignorant in my opinion.
