Pretty sky, pretty tree, and evil geese
Love Letter (LL)
Since the first day I saw you
I knew, I wanted you
Your beauty and subtility
Your kind smile so bright
Your face glows, your amazing
Today we talked, three months ago
I asked for your name
Today after school
Will you meet me beneath the willow tree
Hopefully I will tell
I love you
Will you be my one true love
A star in my dark night

At only 19, he was forced to join the war, to protect those he loved
A fight for control
Blood guts and shells
To young to have witness but there was no choice
A call for more soldiers
A fight to protect
His people , his rights, and future generations
For both the people he loved and hated
Fighting till the end
Secrets not told to just anyone
Enemies hiding in the shadows, signaling
Asking for mercy, for it to end
Scared for their safety
Begging for help, to escape
In the shadows we gain more help
One day the war will end
People will cry, mourn, and thank their people
Outsiders at one point now family to many
These wars killed many, so thank you for your service, those who survived to tell their tales and to those who died on the field as well
Life(L)
My normal everyday day life
Boring as it is
Prepare some coffee, toast and eggs
Read for an hour
Listen to music
Think of scenarios
Of what could have been
Prepare his lunch
Sit and write
Today I'm thinking
Maybe a fish will bite
My dreams so big
But my hope so small
My everyday life, this is part of it all
Do my chores, read a bit more
Do I want to write? I'm not sure
Today I wonder what could have been
But tomorrow is where it all begins

Taken at school, on my way home , and on the road to Bakersfield for a field trip
peace is a wonderful thing
something so simple
yet so complicated
its the gentle winds blowing against your hair
the bright sun warming your face
its spending time with people you love and care for
but sometimes its a little more dark
a little more violent
its the feeling of getting reveng
of being the first to do it and taking others down
its fighting back against the bully
its the knife in that guys back
the one who tormented you to no end
but sometimes peace is also the quiet
or the load bickering, and laughter
peace is so complicated
but its something we all want
with its flaws and all
So I asked some friends to choose between LL, W, L,B,
W stood for war, LL, stood for love letter, l stood for life, and b stood for betrayal, I've written w and be so far, so I'm sharing w, I might share b
War
This missiles fly overhead
Our labored breathing
The blood pumping
The screams, the cry's
I hear it all
My body aches
My gun lays beside me
My comrades lay farther behind
I hold in my tears
I'm either dying here in battle
Or at home with my family
Darting off, I run
I throw grenades
I'm shouting and shooting everyone in opposite uniforms
The pain in my leg worsens
I'm shot in the arm
I duck behind a boulder
Reload,Listen,Attack, Hide, Repeat
Hours, days, weeks, months...years
Finally after who knows how long
A white flag
Raised high in the air
Our freedom? No, their freedom
They approach, hundreds, thousands of soldiers
We won
We can go home
Is it raining? No I'm crying
It's over
Home
Home, whether that's a place, person or thing
I hope you have a safe place
You can run to when things become to much
That you find comfort with whatever it is
Family isn't always home
Home is your safe place
Where you can be you
Where you are loved unconditionally
A place why you can run to,at, or with
The warmth it may provide
Home does not have to be a place,
It can be a person you trust and love or
Something you hold dearly
Let you safe place comfort you,
To be loved unconditionally
