in one of these worlds, we stand on the corner, watching the cars drive past, and my father walks down to a payphone and calls his father. when he hangs up after the first ring, i pick the receiver up. the operator asks where i’d like to call; tells me i paid for five minutes’ conversation. i stub my cigarette out underneath the keypad and tell her nevermind.
in the distance, the lights of a church basement glow up through barred windows at us. in another world, my father and i sit side by side, and pick up 24-hour chips, and drink shitty coffee. in another world, my father and i wear nicotine patches and lay brick. in another world, when i pick up the payphone, the operator informs me time is out on this receiver. please insert a quarter.

After my many unpleasant encounters with women these past few days (anon hate, mother being a pest) I updated my DNI to include women. I take my DNI very seriously and expect people offline to respect my boundaries as well. Naturally, the females in real life have been making this Incredibly. Fucking. Difficult. Fine, I will simply find more Males and Non Binaries to follow on tumblr and continue blogging in my female-free space to avoid their complaining and their feminism. I begin to scroll through the blogs of people I am following to see if the people they reblog from are not pesky women, so that I may follow those people as well.
When lo and behold, I see an intruiging post on one such blog about vultures (death and all things related to it captivate my twisted mind). I see it was reblogged from someone who, in their description, refers to themselves as a "Mr. Strange." I am delighted to find a male, and even more delighted to find someone with a strange and dark mind similar to my own. I scroll for a bit and. What's this? A screenshot with a youtube channel, the same name as this tumblr user.
The screenshot contains a Woman, but I assume this to be a guest on Mr. Strange's channel, at best. Certainly not a fellow host, and certainly not Mr. Strange himself.
I venture to the Youtube Channel. The female is on every thumbnail. My hands close into fists. Right before I fly into a rage, I remember a crucial piece of information: The Transgenders! This is clearly just a Transgender Male who dresses in a feminine manner. Why else would this person go by Mr. Strange? I smile to myself, relieved. I'm sorry, Mr. Strange for mistaking you for a female.
I was mistaken. After many confusing videos and video titles, I realize that Mr. Strange is not their name. It is a joke. A mockery of us men. I have been unknowinly watching. A woman. For hours. I am so enraged, and I am lucky that my boyfriends (K and J) are here to calm me down or I would go dark mode fucking permanently. Men, be warned: the woman's account is Strange Aeons. sylnan is circle of shepherd, i felt that it suited him, especially with the idea that he could steal from people with the help of animals, also because he lived with the rats, so,, ykyk,, also the vines can be used to climb stuff because thats cool, i love the guardian spell too, basically you get downed and you can summon a spirit that will attack anything that gets near you, ( even if the spell doesnt attack teammates or non threats its a nice idea for braad to be the only one who can get near him when this happens, and possibly as the party grows together the others can also approach him ) also the vest design is meant to mimic a ribcage, i think i had an idea of why i did this but forgot,, it just looks cool. maybe something to do with his death or his emotions, whos to say

velrisa, college of lore, i thought because she wouldnt be a cleric for weejas, she could be a sort of, storyteller if you will, spreading the word and fighting for her god with music, she still does stuff with undead and whatnot being raised by clerics, but she simply found another way to show that,( maybe she struggled with normal cleric magic also maybe she relates to mountain )
taxi, battle master fighter, it was this or champion, but i feel like it fit what with what we know about his parents, in this he was trained and whatnot, it was probs a gillion tidestrider thing where it was fucked and he throughout the fated travels learns to fight for himself and protect the people he cares about instead of listening to what people told him he should be fighting for. also maybe he could become some sort of champion because its taxi, i love him.
mountain, war domain, like with taxi i was inbetween war domain and death domain, i felt death domain because the death of his wife maybe threw him into that, but i felt that what with mountain being in a fighting ring and meeting his wife there, that war fit better, he is a crazy good fighter and healing also possibly learnt from Hilda and heightened after her death. hes still mountain though so alcholic cleric punch healing and shenanigans, dont think that just because hes a healer now hes devoid of everything that makes mountain, mountain. plus with taxi, maybe hes very involved with helping taxi find his fight, and with vel, she knows about cleric stuff despite not being one so ykyk
