“We’re Nephilim,” said Julian. “We’re not even supposed to know about the Avengers. Besides,” he added, “Iron Man is obviously the best-looking.”

This could actually make sense, because “Evil father” could be seen as an opposite to god or in this case Raziel so that would make him lucifer tbh.
You know I’ve been doing a lot of thinking since QoAaD came out and I hate to be that person that says “maybe Horace Dearborn had a point” but it does seems like there’s a tad bit more to the shattering of the Mortal Sword than we may think, maybe even a hint of what’s to come in TWP. I mean, I know the explanation for it happening is supposed to be that the enhanced angelic power due to the parabatai curse combined with the force of a powerful blade like Cortana is what caused the Mortal Sword to break but like… if what Jem was saying is true and married parabatai used to be relatively common back in the Olden Days of shadowhunters, then why hasn’t something like this ever happened before? Now consider this: the next and final Big Bad of tsc will have to be something that threatens the existence of the shadowhunters way more seriously than any of the Big Bads we’ve had before. And so far the main threat in all the tsc series have been an evil/hell-ish force but I can’t help but think the BIGGEST threat to the shadowhunters would be a HEAVENLY force, maybe even Raziel himself 👀 So when Horace Dearborn was going off about how Heaven allowed the Sword to break because they were unhappy with the shadowhunters for losing their way or whatever… idk I don’t not totally believe him. Anyway that just my theory for TWP. Thoughts???
I haven’t posted in absolutely ages so here’s a photo of Kit Herondale to brighten your day.
