It’s the debut of Cyclops as the Fantastic Fifth! And because creativity begets creativity, it’s my third current WIP haha

Largely inspired by Scott’s hopes and dreams in X-Men: Marvels Snapshots (2020) and by the delightful work of @timbit-robin-art

This is found family to the max! Hope y’all enjoy :)

This turned out more silly than I imagined but I like it UAEHAU.

I and had to do random because…he is my fave sorry not sorry guys I am a little freak. I think he would enjoy getting a touch-up from Knockout though.

INTRODUCING RAVE AND NOVA

Like most of my settings, these two are from the IDW/MTMTE continuity. They are former decepticons who defected before the War was over (more info. will be disclosed later :D). Post War and they’re just trying to live a peaceful life, but that’s kind’ve hard when you ended up on the DJD’s list. Also, they are conjux ❤️

Individual Information

Rave:

pronouns he/him

worked in Communications before he defected

his age is equivalent to early 30s

he turns into a boombox (specifically the ION Audio Party Rocker Go HighPower Boombox Portable Speaker with Party Starter Lights Black iSP147)

he is 20 feet tall

he weighs 3,700 lbs

he will eat anything placed in front of him

he has pica, which is where one craves/chews substances with no nutritional value

despite his alt being a boombox, Rave is not that loud of a mech (he does have his moments)

also, despite being in Communications, he as social anxiety (he will persevere through it when the situation calls for it)

he took longer to convince to defecting from the ‘cons

had to stop Rave from eating napkins once

he believed in the original cause of the decepticons, but as the War stretched on, he saw how they strayed from their original motivations and grew some major doubts

More Information

the reason they defected was because they found out Nova was sparked

*in my AU, one does not get pregnant, rather when two (or more) mechs merge their sparks there is a 5% chance of getting sparked; mechs can also merge with the intent to create, and that raises the chance of a sparkling from 5% to 86%*

Rave initially wanted to name their child after Megatron, but Nova would not hear him out

^^they were then gonna name them Night Beat, only to discover that there was already a mech with that name

^^^they decided on the name Dead Beat, which they based on how they now viewed the current decepticon cause

Dead Beat is a femme

Rave and Nova are the best parents, although they do have dubious teaching skills

this little family does end up on the Lost Light

^^they had a really close call with the DJD which resulted in Rave getting badly injured

^^^once he was sure the DJD were no longer nearby Nova sent out a distress beacon, which was picked up by the Lost Light (who else lmao)

^^^^they were found and allowed aboard the ship; Rave was taken to the Medbay due to his injuries while Nova was taken to the brig out of precaution due to his intentions being unknown

^^^^^Nova had hidden Dead Beat under his armor when the ship initially touched down so no one knew there was a sparkling; when a member of the Lost Light’s high command came to check on their newest brig member, they were greeted with the sight of Nova having somehow equipped blankets guarding his kid, whom was asleep on his chassis

^^^^^^they were promptly taken to the Medbay where they got yelled at by Ratchet

Due to the fact that these are both my largest hyperfixations, ofc!

I feel like Tag and Bink with Swerve would get along like a house on fire, history would be forever changed the moments the trio began to interact. Rewind has quickly found a home in the temple archives, hanging out and trading data with Jocasta Nu, Riptide hanging out with Kit Fisto and the both of them having swimming competitions.

With the power of both Drift and Cyclonus the padawans lightsaber techniques have never been better, with Fortress Maximus watching over the creche the children have also never been safer!

Ratchet has planted himself in the halls of healing and is not leaving. There is no way these organics are healing people without half of them having no qualifications in the first place! Nightbeat is busy attempting to figure out the true nature of the force, maybe finding out a certain world between worlds?

Shizu really did stay out late that night, and Sanemi allowed Genya to go with him to search for their mother, leaving the third oldest in charge. In their absence, (somehow) the younger siblings were all turned into demons. As Sanemi and Genya return with Shizu, they are faced with their killing machine siblings, forced to kill them (Sanemi and Genya get their scars, whether Shizu gets any is up to you). Now Shizu and her two remaining sons embark on the path of demon slayer, and shenanigans with demon-eating-Genya ensue (as well as angst). Maybe Shizu also eats demons? That’d make for some cool interactions :)

Chances are whichever brother isn't the demon is gonna be the one to kill the demon brother. Sorry, boys! Context below the cut.

So, I'm working on Shizu's backstory. And since she's not becoming the demon Shinazugawa, someone else has to. Because this family is just trauma in a box, and cannot catch a break.

But I am stumped on which version to go with. I had considered having Shizu being the one to fight against/kill one of her sons as an option. But then I considered the sweet, sweet angst of her, seeing one of her oldest two sons wounded and fading away with his brother covered in his blood and standing over him, accidentally comparing the living son to Kyogo. And the utter devastation on both sides when that happens.

Characters in my fanfics never get peace until Muzan is dead...
