Ok, but the algae is real. Never again.
Yeah yeah don’t put your tank near a window blah algae yeah but consider how pretty it is
This is so fricking relatable.
To anyone who isn't completely sure who they are on the inside, it's OKAY to take a step back and take some time to figure yourself out. You aren't undeserving of identity—be it gender-related or literally anything else.
If you know that it would make you feel even just a little lighter every day, then go out and do it. Don't be afraid to say it. If everyone stuffed up all of their pain inside, deciding it wasn't worth exploring, we would all be boring and bland conformers.
Be the person who chooses to be themselves within all of this pressure to be 'normal' and to take the 'easier path'. Because sometimes the easiest path for you isn't the most traveled overall.
I touched up this old art a little
Not even just fanfics, this applies to literally any kind of media. Poetry, paintings, sculptures, graphite/charcoal drawings, pottery - if you like a post then LIKE IT.
I really don't understand how "without getting kudos or comments a fanfiction author is going to assume that people who clicked their fic didn't like it" became a controversial take.
I don't know why some people think an author should imagine, or guess that people who click their fic enjoyed it it when nobody is telling them that.
If you're re-reading a fic constantly, or leaving it up in your tab so that it re-loads every day for a hundred days the author is not going to know that unless you tell them. They'd love to hear it. It would make their day.
And if you don't tell them you liked their fic, there's no reason for them to assume you did.
I'm bi with means I'm attracted to me because this is funny to me.
But why did the predictive text have to mOcK mY sExUaLItY like that?? At least it wasn't really homophobic 🤷♀️
I'm asexual which means I'm attracted to the exit.
Well...I mean...accurate?
To anyone who sees this, do ya'll ever those days where like your internal monalogue WILL NOT STOP going off on tangents and rambling on about weird shit? Like ofc logically you should tune out the noise so you can actually get shit done. But it's always funny to me when you tune back in cause you're curious or whatever and your brain has been having a conversation with itself about the ways you could theoretically murder someone. And you just genuinely have no clue how you got to this point.
I feel like internal monologues might have something to do with dream theory but I'm not smart enough to articulate exactly what
“Authors should not be ALLOWED to write about–” you are an anti-intellectual and functionally a conservative
“This book should be taken off of shelves for featuring–” you are an anti-intellectual and functionally a conservative
“Schools shouldn’t teach this book in class because–” you are an anti-intellectual and functionally a conservative
“Nobody actually likes or wants to read classics because they’re–” you are an anti-intellectual and an idiot
“I only read YA fantasy books because every classic novel or work of literary fiction is problematic and features–” you are an anti-intellectual and you are robbing yourself of the full richness of the human experience.
Mollusk Monday 🥳
happy mollusk monday to all who celebrate
Hi, I'm Cyanic | 17 | he/they | anything from painting to poetry, you name it, I've probably done it or planned to do it. But also, I procrastinate. A lot. So most of this is just reblogs of stuff I thought was cool, esp. animal and nature related stuff.
