I like this. Always good to remind the fandom that their lamb isn't a hero or a victim. They've spread as much misery and pain as any other God. The story is about an innocent soul slowly becoming a monster and villain after all. Everyone you've killed, sacrificed, eaten, all blood on every player's hands.
woe be upon ye
Heh good thing I'm not a follower but more of an observer. But to say more would spoil future plans π
How would ewen react if a follower (me for example XD) ask them for a kiss ?
Ya know, my favorite thing about this comic is the moral ambiguity of Narinder's portrayal. Having played the game and seen how the Fandom interprets Narinder, I'm actually annoyed with the general consensus that in order to make fan's self-insert Lamb feel like this justified victim, Narinder is a vow-breaker who intentionally makes false-promises, lies and harms their Lamb for personal gain. π€
Here, I can really see how Narinder could be seen as a being of worship once-upon-a-time, whether or not the story of his Sibling Conflict told here is truth, fabrication or somewhere in between. He's clearly someone who's felt hurt, longs to pursue his goals and is seeking some personal sense of purpose beyond what Fate has decided for him. Here, I can feel while his intentions aren't entirely pure, they're not this comical level of evil seen by the majority of the Fandom and its very much refreshing to say the least. π
This is one of the few cotl comic lores I'm very much invested in and would like to see more of. The fundamental originality of showing both sides aren't evil, but the signs of corruption are just buried below the surface is something I really enjoy. πππ
REINCARNATION
I said I was going to compile it and I did <3
Thanks to everyone who followed along with me while I made this! I loved reading your comments :')
Bonus sketch
;)
I wonder who that random bystander might be? ;) Btw, I'll sadly have to make the pages a bit shorter from now on, so I could focus on them without stressing over finding the time to draw between work and other stuff. I believe you guys can understand.

Alright, since Madam Mel has goated me into revealing my extremely amateurish thoughts, here goes.
I've had my suspicions on how Narinder was able to get a hold of the Last Lamb, and how he was even able to bring it back to life in the first place. It comes with too many plotholes that, thankfully the game leaves open to interpretation so here are my theories and One I think Mrs @melled42 is gunning for.
The first Theory being that Shamura sent the last Lamb to Narinder either intentionally as a show to break Narinder's dream of returning and to accept his fate as being bound to Hell's limbo, or unintentionally as a last way to give Narinder a chance to free himself and repent for his actions of slaughtering unwillingly innocents and to punish himself for the actions he committed against his most favorite sibling. There are words Shamura uses that alludes to the idea that he may have purposely given Narinder the Lamb, the same way he gave Narinder Aym and Ba'al, probably due to how damaged his mind was and how he drifts in and out because of his brain damage. I can go more into this theory because its a personal one of mine and part of my headcanon
However, I believe Melled42 is going for my second theory and one I hope isn't the case (Game-Canonwise) but..... Narinder may have killed the Lamb himself, directly in order to get direct control of the creature's life, to will it for his own purpose. I came to this conclusion because Narinder's ultimate goal was to control Life AND Death, and he never fully achieved the goal, because his siblings stopped him before he could break such a fundamental law of nature. Death is only supposed to go 1 way, so for Narinder to even have the power to perverse such a Primordial Law means he had to have had a direct connection and influence over Lamb (in this case Ewen's) death, to control their aspect of Life and thus, create a creature not bound by the Laws and Limitations Narinder actively sought to break.
All this is to say, the theory is that Narinder intentionally killed Ewen himself to give him life that bounds Ewen to Narinder through the power of the Red Crown. This would explain why Lamb can detach its head and still remain alive and aware, retain all their powers and abilities without aging physically, while also exhibiting God-Like effects such as the black blood or ichor if you will, that leaks from a God's wounds. Lamb wasn't killed by the Headsmen, he was killed somehow stealthily through an act by Narinder himself.
Its extremely twisted, yet right up Narinder's alley. I'm against it personally but fuck it would fit if this is what Melled42 is going for. That the twisted mentality the two of them tend to feed into one another, the act that started all of this, was Narinder killing Lamb to claim their life and soul for himself, before his siblings could get the job done and ruin his plans. I like this, and HATE it because it creates a full circle moment that only adds to the selfish depravity of their natures as a whole, that due to the solitary existence both were forced to endure, the empty, meaningless deaths they were both part of and directly influenced with their actions, connects them both on an extremely primal level where only they and they alone, can understand stand each other completely.
I wanted to keep this grenade tucked away but Madam Mel asked so.... here it is. If I'm wrong, I fully accept it because even I see the cracks in my theory but damnit..... brain is going wild with ideas.
An explanation for the wound on Ewen's, my lamb's neck. I've had this headcannon since first seeing the bishops but it kind of took a life of its own
When you're a power hungry controlling monster but they're way too into it, even for you
patreons got this early
These are pretty good choices. I will say I avoided cat because I wanted to pick creatures different from the current bishops. Since Narinder is already a cat, wanted to go a little bigger. Also avoided the Sloth cuz its a little too on the nose, ya know? lol But i do like these alot. Had to look up the Shrew and Bonobo. Pretty fitting.
In the Cotl Universe, if the 7 Deadly Sins were personified as animals, which 7 would you choose?
Think my picks would be
Pride - Lion
Greed - Crab
Lust - Rabbit
Gluttony - Pig
Envy - Dog
Wrath - Bull
Sloth - Koala
But I'm curious to hear the thoughts and ideas of others.
This made me laugh a lot harder than it had any right to. lol
The lamb likes to tell dad jokes. Here is a collection of some of its best worst jokes
I might love this character a bit too much π
Damnit Mel! What have you done to me!? π€
im planning a small piece for the bunny suit thing going around the cotl fandom but have a Bell, my narilamb shitten, doodle with it in the mean time. she's more embarrassed that its a submissive outfit and she goes for more of a dom(minatrix?) vibe to keep the cult and enemies in line
Is lamb a boy or a girl? Just wanna know
they are a god
So... petition to get an even pinup calendar?
Gris Swimsuit, Hollow Hip Dress, String Jumpsuit, Keyhole Cat Lingerie, Choker Snapper, Slingkini, etc etc etc
Maybe...? Guess not
I stopped drawing an actually nsfw comic and a story comic to draw this. that is how strong the urge to draw pin ups is in me. plus its just nice having a chubbier character after a while.
It turned out super cute either way. reminder that ewen shears their wool completely and makes it into an outfits... any outfit they want <3
patrons got this early along with sketches and helped me decide on oufits
"The guy i sent to gather beetroots is dead, we're out of silk, Vephar is infected with⦠something, I still haven't done my sermon, and as soon as I sit down to eat something, Narinder starts with his bullshit.
Is being a god supposed to be this stressful?"
