Gonna reblog this. Asking many artists if they'd like to add to their design to the project and of course if anyone sees this and would like to join, feel free to send me a message or a shout ^_^
Main rule however, if I do create the discord, it will NOT be shared with anyone else other than those who are participating and adding their Lamb designs to the video. I value everyone's privacy and do not wish to have them bombarded in their personal lives on the matter.
It is not a time sensitive issue to concept and of course I will answer any and all questions fired my way. I will maintain contact with anyone who wishes to join and maintain 100% transparency with everyone involved.
I'd like to make this something of a fandom community effort to show appreciation to all the artists involved. And because I not-so-secretly love too many artistic styles that make me feel as giddy as a school girl watching a romcom. Do not judgement god damnit! lol

As a thanks I was gonna go full on commission but, knowing how her canon lore is set and me needing to keep my ass in check and not wanting to creep her out with my weird ass request, I think I'll offer either a solid donation (Within reason Goddamnit! 😖) or something like that. Hope this pans out well. I think it would be a fun way to involve as much as the fandom as possible as so many people have very unique, fantastic and interesting designs for their interpretations for their self-inserts and I can't think of a better way of appreciating them. 🤩

im planning a small piece for the bunny suit thing going around the cotl fandom but have a Bell, my narilamb shitten, doodle with it in the mean time. she's more embarrassed that its a submissive outfit and she goes for more of a dom(minatrix?) vibe to keep the cult and enemies in line

Alright.... I gotta get this off my chest here because I've been pondering this for a while. A small fraction of a MUCH greater rant but... fucking hell am I addicted to @aychama's art. Like on a oddly surreal level. I absolutely adore the portrayal of these two together and the tension and atmosphere always gets me more giddy than a japanese school girl!
However... this comes with one major issue I personally have and know its 100% opinionated and biased. Ain't trying to hurt anyone's feelings but if anyone wants to disagree with or block me if you follow this stupid, idiotic tirade of mine, feel free. I understand and take full responsibility for what I'm about to say...
Ok here goes; aychama has done such an amazing job selling me on the fact that these two are damaged souls, seeking love, understanding and connection, that I get the feeling once The Betrayal occurs, I won't be satisfied in the slightest. It goes back to how in all honesty, I am annoyed with how the majority of the fanbase collective agrees that Narinder is a liar and is morally, evil, despite every aspect of the game subtly going out of its way to prove the opposite and its in fact just the Bishops and later, the Lamb "Player" who are the ones who are evil, and Narinder is a victim of his own hubris. This is one of the reasons why I aggravated towards aychama's portrayal of Narinder so much because he's almost 1-to-1 lined with his representation in the game. He has his own goals and mostly keeps to himself. He's searching for a way to bypass Death to grant not just himself, but everyone he knows true immortality and he hasn't told a single lie to Lambert or anyone he's spoken to.
Aychama's Narinder has yet to preform any acts worthy of being called evil and beyond the spouted opinions of those who envy the Kings, Narinder hasn't done anything wrong. In fact, he seems to be extremely lonely and focused, knowing he's walking a path many will not accept, but is choosing to do so for a reason beyond just a desire to subjugate others for personal pleasure. This lines up perfectly with the game, and especially the DLC where Shamura admits he led the Bishops to attack and bind Narinder, because he was afraid if Narinder granted mortals immortality, mortals would feel no need to rely on their Gods and thus, they would lose power and control. They feared that Narinder was going to take those who prayed to him, and eliminate their greatest fears, thus setting them free from Cosmic Law.
That doesn't sound like Narinder was ever evil to begin with and again, its why if Lambert does betray Narinder, I don't think I'll be satisfied, given how their relationship is developing. I know both are currently wearing masks to hide their true goals, disguising their intentions yet are still desperately reaching out for the other and knowing Narinder isn't, or hasn't been shown to be evil, means that despite Lamb supposedly being the protagonist and "hero", would be committing an evil act be it of corruption of power, or for the sake of their own pride and therefore, makes it hard for me to even begin to root for their success. They would be actively killing or enslaving the only person who ever treated them like a person of equal merit, who took time to see them for who they are, and didn't use their vulnerability against them, for wholly selfish reasons that wouldn't gel well with my brain.
Long-Winded, I know but it basically comes down to the idea that, unless aychama goes out of their way to make Narinder comically evil, or have Lambert corrupted so thoroughly that they become everything they hated about the Ruling Class, I can't see the betrayal actually happening. And even then, if and when it does, I get the feeling it won't hit hard because one or both would have to drift so far beyond their current characterizations that they would feel unrecognizable. Of course I can admit that I might be 100% wrong here. For all I know, aychama might pull some awesome plot twist outta their ass and just get me right in the feels or pull a bait-and-switch and go full AU with their own desired outcome or ending that they're holding onto. Either way...... this is probably my second favorite version of the NariLamb pairing because I love how raw, sensual and passionate it feels. I'm a sucker for two broken people desperately relying on each other and giving up everything to maintain that love and connection. I just hope that whatever ending they have planned, won't leave an empty feeling on the series because I'm drooling over this couple like a fat kid at a candy store and it never fails to leave me thirsty for more god damnit! lol

Everone always has the Red Crown dislike Narinder or hate Narilamb and yeah it's funny but personally I think it's more funny if the Red Crown actually DID like Narinder. Like yeah, The Lamb is it's favorite. But Narinder is and always was it's second favorite (first before the Lamb came along.)
The Red Crown is the child caught between the divorce. The #1 Narilamb shipper. It wants Narinder and The Lamb to make up so it can hang out with both it's besties again.

I like this. Always good to remind the fandom that their lamb isn't a hero or a victim. They've spread as much misery and pain as any other God. The story is about an innocent soul slowly becoming a monster and villain after all. Everyone you've killed, sacrificed, eaten, all blood on every player's hands.

TL;DR - Because a relationship between two or more people, defined by falsities, isn't what the average person wants.
-Because for most people, the mask they wear, isn't their true self. Its the face they wear, the expressions they show, the impression they put on to hide who they really are underneath and how they really feel. The desire to peel back this layer to reveal what's underneath typically, at least from my experience and from what others have said and said themselves or told me, it comes down to two major reasons.
-1: People who are used to putting up a front because those around them, cannot or choose not to understand them. This situation can make a person feel so utterly and profoundly lonely that it often times draws them into dark or unsettling places within their own minds. Just to be noticed or accepted or to avoid shame or being rejected, the mask remains, but it means that person rarely, if ever, gets to express who they truly are, unabashedly. Sure, anyone with a high sense of self worth or a massive ego would respond to such a notion with something along the lines of "Just be yourself, no matter what happens." But our lives are filled with so many different various different connections, relationships and circumstances that many times, the average person can't afford to be themselves 100% without consequence. The desire to see characters have their masks peeled back to expose who they truly are underneath and be accepted for it, is a primal urge we all seek in one form or another. We want to be loved, seen, valued for both our benefits and our faults. But many times, many people cannot truly express their true selves to even begin to make that connection with someone else and thus, the deep desire to live vicariously through other characters experiencing such a thing is born within those types of people. The desire to tear off their own masks, completely without fear and to be accepted for it, is also what they want from characters they like and can relate to, who are also doing the same thing as them
-2: This is more outwardly in a way and a bit more complicated but ultimately just an inverse of 1. When a person is trying to form a connection with someone they're being open and honest with, be it friendship, partnership, romantic, etc, that person instinctively wants the other to also be willing to share nearly the same level of forwardness, honesty and transparency. Its innate.
-Now of course I need to preface this by saying everyone has a right to withhold aspects of themselves they don't wish to share. If they so choose, maintain as much privacy about yourself as they want. And furthermore, no one is entitled to the same level of trust and affection offered by someone else.
-In spite of that however, attempting to form a bond with someone, one that is genuine and respectful and direct, only to receive lies, falsities and deceit from that other person, isn't exactly a good feeling. People who are trying to connect with others don't enjoy being lied to, pushed away or led down fake paths because they want a real connection, and this also bleeds into what they're reading/watching. When they see a character trying to form a connection with others, create barriers and hide who they really are and their real intentions, all the viewer can see is someone who is a self-prophesied failure in their own desires. A character that truly manifests the concept of genuine victimhood where they desire one thing but actively create the very same problems that causes their own suffering and misfortune, but still crave empathy and sympathy. That level of self-destruction can be very annoying to watch for people who've reached a certain state of self-awareness and maturity for a wide variety of reasons.
-There is a number 3 as well but I think this is too long and too deep as well for a post like this. If could be one for venting, or one seeking a genuine curiosity, don't know. However since the thought was put out into the ether, I responded to it in kind. But anyways, that's at least 2 out of the 3 major reasons I've personally seen as to why people prefer relationships between characters who remove their masks and show who they really are, than characters who base a connection off of falsehoods to hide aspects of themselves from the world and people around them.
personally I do not understand the obsession with revealing whats underneath the mask a character wears all the time. as far as I’m concerned that mask IS their face. do NOT peel them. that’s the same as the beast from beauty and the beast turning into just some guy at the end

Alright..... first let's start this off right... before I get super ultraviolet pretentious out this mug....
Now fair warning cuz this will get a little Ranty so TL:DR. Fair warning
Ok with that outta the way, good fucking God, is this the absolute shit! Ugh! Got a little too damn excited reading this and the last few ones. Been waiting and would rather post here on patreon because it seems more trafficked here but.... wow. While melled42 definitely is in my Top 3 favorite artists in this fandom for their art style and character focus. This shit hits me in all the right areas that gets me Ace Ventura levels of excited when reading it. I love how, despite the want of sex, violence and gore, the characters feel real and grounded, a layered just enough so you can understand their growth and struggle while also presenting realistic responses that fit within their characters, given what we know and this, is a nice combination. Cheese aside, I completely adore this because it represents a truth about people that most don't want to accept and saying it might piss people off but I'm gonna;
We Love Selfishly
Each and every single one of us, wants to imagine the idea that our love is boundless, endless, all encompassing and pure. That we love to make other people happy but honestly, that's false or at least, a half truth at best. Most of us who can feel romantic and sexual love, instinctively, despite our natural urges in an attempt to present our love in altruistic manners, deep down inside are seeking some form of validation, comfort, and acceptance from an external force. We see someone, who we only want to see us. Want us. Love us. To have and obtain something and someone that is ours and only ours that will never walk away and will always prioritize us. It is a selfish desire to seek such a form of love from others, to give ourselves meaning, value and purpose and honestly, that's perfectly fine! Its normal. Its probably the reason why so many people love Tsunderes and Yanderes despite the exaggerated extremes portrayed in media. We want someone that will only show us their truest, deepest and most vulnerable sides to their personalty. Gain access to a part of that person no other living person will ever be able to scratch. We want to feel needed, loved and wanted by someone who'd refuse to let us go, even in the face of possible better options, be it looks, personality, or hobbies. For someone to see the significance of who we are, even when we ourselves can't, and this grounded, instinctive trait has probably (in my most biased opinion) has been shown by Mel the best.
The way these two show fear at the concept of expressing their sense of vulnerability to each other, yet the refusal to accept a life where they can't be their absolute and truest selves with one another is fucking peak! For the first time (from my interpretation) Ewen is making a real choice to ve vulnerable, taking something they actually want for themselves, even if they themselves don't fully understand their own desires. They cling to the one person who gave their existence value, who focused solely on them and only them and for a time, could truly understand who and what they were, despite the clear bad blood between them. It shows how loving selfishly can lead to so many negative thoughts of doubt, worthlessness, insecurity (Which is ok for any and all genders to have) which can eat away at someone's mental health. Yet despite this, its the honest statement and open conversation that will ultimately save them from creating that connection with someone they want based on lies or worse, breaking the bond they wanted for so long due to their own preconceived notions on the subject.
These two are like everyone, desires, happiness, insecurities and fears. So many conflicting layers without a true proper understanding of who they are. So many of us are broken in ways we don't want to admit, but still desire to take the shards of our souls, combine them with another's and create a Stained-Glass Mural that will express the beauty of what we are and I fucking love how Ewen and Narinder truly represent this concept both physically through their actions and psychologically through their development. I wish so many other artists here would take from Melled when comes to this. Not just be willing to show a character has fears, but allow their characters to be OPENLY vulnerable with each other. To revel in pain and angst can be fun but is ultimately empty in the face of actual progressive growth and development.
Understand this is only half my thoughts at best and I could keep going but I think I need to lay down cuz I'm a little too damn excited. Remember these are my own personal opinionated thoughts so if anyone disagrees, feel free. But for me; Easily Top 3 artists in Cult of the Lamb hands down.

That level of twisted, loving attachment that is rare among the community. Hits a nice sweet spot of possessive insanity, dark obsession and genuine love many artist have refused to touch in favor of drama, tension and jokes.

I'm sorry if this is too personal but did you had/have any art trauma caused by art teachers in school? And by trauma I mean some aversion to try learning one thing, because art teacher was just a dick. I have something like that with shading and it still holds after 6 years as a adult and I want to break it, but I cannot force myself to try it again and this holds my proggres as a ,,artist" and that's make me smad. I'm sorry once again if this is too personal or too hard to answer

I studied ceramics in uni but I did have nude art classes and classes that required detailed art projects.
Although most of my uni time was wasted thanks to covid, I did get harrassed by a few of my classmates and my teacher in my last year.
My classmate had said that my art level wasnt good enough to be in this uni and my teacher yelled at me in the middle of class for like a week or two because I refused his ideas for my projects (he had given me the ok on the design before he changed his mind 180 and started pointing and laughing at me with my classmates while i worked on my ceramic project)
I eventually had to give up resisting because I wanted to pass the class and let him do whatever he wanted. (He legit just put clay on top of my design, smoothed it out and that was it in fact here is the design he gave me the ok to, the middle of my project and the way he stopped me)
After this I basicly didnt do anything more for his class, minimum effort. My days in Uni weren't all bad thank god but I was extremely unmotivated.
After I graduated, I didnt really draw or create much until my love for drawing rekindled with Cult of The Lamb! I love this game and Narilamb too much lmao-
But as for something similar to your experience I would say that I used to play the bass and electro guitar in highschool and we had to perform one day which I chickened out from that resulted in the music teacher getting angry at me. I dont play the guitar anymore :/ But my love for music hasnt died and I am using my love for art diffrently!
I would say that even if certain experiences deviates you from some topics, branches of art or people, dont let it kill your whimsy and ideas. You can always try out diffrent things to find something fun like diffrent styles of drawing, shading or no shading, diffrent mediums like digital or traditional, new or old techniques, weird colors or designs. You can always try out whats popular to see if you like it or not as well. You can also consume a lot of art media, educational or entertainment.
There is so many creative things you can try out, you dont have to be stuck on the past and that one shading idea your teacher tried to teach you ır tried to force onto you. I think you can go back to it after trying out many diffrent things to see if it was the technique or the teacher that ruined it for you.
If it was the technique, there are many MANY diffrent ones that you can enjoy!
If it was the teacher, Im not a therapist so idk what would be the right thing to say but healing takes time, sometimes the things people say never leaves you and sometimes you forget it 5 minutes later. You are a person with the ability to change, learn and grow. The only thing that is in your way is your 'will'. If you are willing to change, even if takes a long time, you will change! But if you dont want to, then no one can force you.
Healing and moving on is hard but not impossible. Dont let an asshole teacher get in the way of your growth ❤️
